You loot Snarltongue and find 3 alchemists fire, hide armor, and +1 battleaxe. Behind the table on the dais is a bucket filled with rotten viscera from Krenar’s previous experiments. Laying next to the table is a bird feather token.

Before she moves to inspect the item Lirianne reloads both her pistols, and puts one back in its holster. Lirianne walks up to the bucket, and quickly takes her distance from it once she sees its contents. "Oh... gross..."

Lazlo, on the other hand, is not nearly as squeamish. Fascintaing! the gnome exclaims, thoroughly digging through and investigating the contents of the bucket. It makes one wonder what this fellow was up to. Hmm, now let's see...
He will, of course, use detect magic (eventually) and take 10 on his Spellcraft check for a 19.

Jasper will use this moment climb down (take 10 for an 11) to heal Hugo, who was struck by the mutant goblin. He'll do so with his wand of Cure Light Wounds.

Seelah raises her armored hand to the top of her head and blinks her eyes several times. I suppose that fall shook me up more than I expected. I didn't hit that goblin once. It's a good thing we've got such skilled archers and our grizzly friend Hugo here. I promise that next time I will be more focused!

"Shall we enter the passageway to the east? I see no reason to choose one possible way over another, so I suppose we just pick one and see where that leads us."

Jasper then pats his small bear reassuringly. The bear snorts.

You head towards the east and notice that the footing in these debris-choked caverns is pretty treacherous. You have to take your time moving (5 ft per round) or you suddenly become off balance and could fall prone. You move to the larger part of the cave. Part of this chamber is in total ruin. The western half of this room appears to have mostly collapsed, though jagged openings peer to into a dark cavern. The east half of the chamber is filled with small chests and barrels. Most are covered in dust, but some appear to have been recently disturbed.

Lazlo, who has diligently been studying the various bits within the bucket, reluctantly pulls himself away from cataloging what he's seen to rejoin the group.
At Lirianne's horrified expression, he looks down to realize that his torso is caked with the foul remnants of the bucket. He casts prestidigitation to clean himself up and attempts to engage the gunslinger in a lively, animated conversation about the various goblin, rat, and other creatures' internal organs he discovered within the treasure trove of the bucket.
Lazlo is mystified, of course, that Lirianne is not nearly as interested in his findings as he is.

Eolowyn moves forward to the chests. Looking at the tracks in the dust and debris she tries to determine what creature could have disturbed the chests. While doing this she consults her footprint book.

Diamond dust? says Lazlo. Why, that can be used for so many different spells: stoneskin, for instance; restoration, for divine caster types; or two of these for impart mind, which allows one to literally give someone a piece of their mind, haha!

"It should be no surprise that goblins have been here before us. I suggest we go north now." and Eolowyn turns left at the chests, bow in hand.

Seelah comes to a door, and the party does the door opening procedures.
This chamber might have once been some sort of study, but it has fallen into ruin. The entire northeast corner of the chamber has collapsed, apparently because of some sort of drilling machine that emerged from the southwest corner and is now half-buried under the rubble to the northeast. The debris-choked tunnel from which it emerged is plainly visible. Wooden doors lie to both the south and west.

Jasper, my good man, this is not "a stone creature of some sort," this is an earth elemental, a denizen of the Plane of Earth, don't you know. Lazlo watches as it moves aggressively toward the halfling. Er, ah...usually not dangerous, though perhaps this one is different. Now as an elemental, he continues, counting on his fingers, it can't be stunned, or paralyzed, or made to sleep, or poisoned, or affected by that thing where you get on either side of it...what's that called again...?
If his Knowledge check reveals anything beyond elemental traits, he will share that as well.
