As I was looking over your character sheet I noticed that as a (Garundi?) human you're entitled to an additional at-will power (maybe Scorching Burst) as well a another daily power due to Expanded Spellbook. However I'd suggest picking another feat as this adventure doesn't allow an extended rest in which to swap in your second Daily power.

Okay, I see that you've got Freezing Cloud, so don't worry about this.

I swapped expanded spellbook for toughness, as I'm solo, and got scorching burst.

Excellent, I've labeled the battlemaps with numbers and letters for rows and columns respectively in order to handle positioning, movement and targeting of effects. So it will be like the 'Battleship' method I've observed in other PBPs

e.g. I hide at J4.
I use Pass Forward to shift through K3 to L4.
I use Thunderwave and target a close blast 3 from C5 to E7.

Are there any questions or PBP gaming protocols you'd like to bring up before we begin?

I think I'm cool!

Just a couple of housekeeping things:

 • I'll be using my DM Random Number God persona for game adjudication and my default persona for commentary and extended OOC stuff (for large blocks of text the default black is easier on the eyes than OOC light blue).
 • Remember that in 4e specific rules override general rules (see PHB p. 11)
 • At the start of your turn you take ongoing damage. Just like in Pathfinder you get a standard, move and minor (~ swift) action, as well as free actions. You may also swap you standard for another move or minor, as well as swapping you move for another minor (Standard > Move > Minor). There aren't full-round actions and you use your move action to shift one square (~ 5 foot step) instead of moving your speed. Before the end of your turn you make a saving throw to end each ongoing effect.

The gameplay thread is up on the PBP subforum, and it's your turn to bat.
