Ankird pokes his head out of the western door and sees a small room to the west, a door to the south, and a very long hallway to the north. While the immediate passage is stone, from the north he gets a whiff of both wet earth, and the briny smell of the harbor, but nothing within sight beyond that.
Dexus starts checking on your unconscious compatriots. Eroil is under the effects of a sleep toxin, and no amount of shaking rouses him. But he doesn't seem to be getting any worse, just completely knocked out.
To be clear, all 3 unconscious folks fell to the poison gas attack. The hit point damage was from other injuries they took during battle. All 3 fell from the gas attacks and did not receive physical injury from that. If you wanted to move out of this room, you could ask the dwarven brothers to grab someone and they'll follow. They can each carry 1 person/tiger and keep up, being stout dwarves. Or you could set up defenses in this room (or pick another room).
Everyone can just give me one round of actions, and we'll proceed from there. Feel free to propose a plan, if you'd like.

Wow, I missed all the fun. Sorry, but I'm still not really able to post. (at least I'm dead and not slowing you down, LOL). When this is all done, though, hopefully no one tries to heal Rumple with the wrong wand :P Please bot me if I become conscious.

After quickly but carefully depositing their unconscious allies along the northern wall, the other Gearwright brother asks, "Um, did you say bombs?"

Your mysterious warlock looks around. Stuffed training dummies line the south wall, crude faces drawn on their heads. Along the east wall are pegs mounted at eye level, some of which have a change of clothing hung on them and nicknames scrawled on the wall above. Three doors lead east,
west, and north. A rope ladder hangs from the ceiling by the west door and goes up through a five-foot-wide shaft to the floor above (this would've been the trapdoor the thug by reception escaped through). Dexus then strides across the hallway. He notices the strong scent of harbor and wet earth wafting in from the distant north of the ongoing hallway. Then he steps into the room across the way, and notices the strong scent of men living in close quarters. Several cots are arranged in this room, along with a small card table and chairs. There appears to be of little interest in the room, other than the concealed door on the south wall.
He spies what is obviously the back side of a concealed door, with a sliding panel at eye level. He walks over to the concealed door and slides open the eye panel, and sees a plain empty room with no obvious exits. The ceiling above appears to be a springloaded pit trap, i.e. the room is designed to holding cell for anyone who falls into the pit trap from above.
Ankird Please position yourself accordingly on the map.
Dexus, you had a total of four rounds, so here's what you found during your search. I'm assuming you didn't want to open any closed doors, just look at what was already in sight, so I moved you back to the entrance of the room. You would have had just enough time to return after a cursory search. If you wanted to search more deeply, open any doors, etc, feel free to move yourself elsewhere.

Super happy with that GM. I don't want to wander off too far, but do want to search for stuff. I am not sure but I don't feel we have gotten all that far in solving the mystery. I sure don't know whodunit.

Though his breathing has stabilized, the odd little dwarf's unconscious face still bears an expression of deep stress, as though wrapped in a bad dream that keeps repeating over and over again. His left hand still clutches his scroll of Color Spray that he had pulled out shortly before his world went black. It adds a crinkling sound to accompany the painful groans that escape his unconscious form as his fist involuntarily clenches and unclenches.

At first, Ankird thinks he's just hearing Centimere bark because his mind is dwelling on his faithful steed...but then Aurk, Jaretti, Dexus exchange looks and all 3 say at the same time, "Isn't that Centimere barking?" Ankird focuses, and recognizes it as Centimere's bark of alarm. Then you all hear a loud cry of alarm, then some rushed clattering and a resounding thump out in the hallway somewhere.

Rumple, Eroil & Struggler are still unconscious, though Rumple and Struggler do seem to be stirring a bit in their sleep. Eroil continues to snore as if she could sleep through the end of the world.
My Apologies: the noise came from out in the hallway beyond the door that Jaretti closed, i.e. towards the ladder you climbed down. The door is still closed (move action to open it), and you can't see out in the hallway yet, but I did expose the hallway on the map.
Dexus, of course, you may take different action.

Dexus throws open the door and looks outside. He sees the skulk lying prone on the floor under the ladder, bleeding, bruised and cursing like a sailor. He sees no sign of the alchemist.
It'd be a move action to get to the door, then another move action to open it.

Ankird begins plodding forward, lamenting the lack of mount and medium armor that really slow down his movement. Then again, upon seeing the skulk in a bloody heap at the bottom of the ladder, Ankird thinks it might not be such a bad thing after all....

While a post never showed up here in the gameplay thread, Jaretti, I'll assume you took a double move (i.e. you're the one who moved your token up next to the Skulk on the map).
Aurk and Dexus have to strain their ears to hear this, but the two halflings quite clearly hear a woman's voice hiss in irritation from just down the hall toward the jail cells, "Deal with these interlopers, Onamae, or you will never know the pleasure of Shiver again...
At the mention of the word "Shiver," Ankird and Jaretti see a shudder pass through the skulk's body, and she instinctually drools a little out of the side of her mouth. "Yes, Mistress!" The skulk leaps to her feet in an attempt to attack Jaretti--perhaps not the wisest of choices, but she only has Shiver on her mind...
The halfling's opportunistic strike pierces her ribs and she shrieks in anger, staggered by the blow. But the thought of Shiver fuels her desire to please her mistress and she attacks. Her blade misses the mark and her eyes roll up in her head, and she collapses onto the floor, battered , bleeding and unconscious.
The same feral female voice rings out from toward the jail cells. "Stupid fool!" You hear a loud sigh before she continues. " It is so difficult finding good help these days. Listen, you interlopers. You may have defeated these fools whom I employed, but you dare not face me, or you will perish in fire. Tell your stupid cur upstairs to stand down and allow me to leave. You can have this place. All our plans have been ruined, and there's no reason for me to remain. I may not defeat you all, but some of you will surely perish if you dare impede my departure."
Jaretti hears the sound of someone moving about in the hallway, but cannot pinpoint it.
Meanwhile, back in room, Aurk and Dexus notice Rumple and the tiger beginning to stir. Eroil sleeps on, blissfully unaware of the battle waging outside the room.

"NOOOO!" Rumple's eyes shoot open wide in terror and he cries out in panic. His arms instinctively raised to protect his head from certain doom, he flinches away. When nothing bad happens, he slowly lowers his arms and sits up, eyes searching the room for answers. As his eyes fall on Eroil and S "Oh no"

As his eyes fall on Eroil and Struggler, he whispers "Oh no! I pray they are still on this side." Hearing the sounds of combat, he shudders. He closes his eyes and steels himself for what he must do. Before leaving the room, though, he gently rests his hand on each. "Hold on. We'll get through this"
Grasping the scroll of Color Spray, he begins walking toward the sounds of combat. He is weary, so weary, and his body screams at him to stop. But he supports himself with the walls and anything else that comes in handy to stay on his feet. "I've got one shot. Better make it count" he whispers to himself.
I'm at 0 hit points. So I think that means I am conscious and can move around, but casting the spell from that scroll will knock me out again. -1? If I'm wrong and am not conscious, then ignore my posts... Rumple just kind of lays there :)

[-X hp] was how many hp damage you have received. Rumple is now at full hp (and 2 charges off his Cause Light wand). I'll change expression to X/XX hp remaining for the PCs. NPCs will still be amount of damage inflicted, since you don't know how many HP remaining. And again, Eroil is unconscious from poison gas. Unfortunately, having failed his secondary save as well as initial save, he's out for hours...

Struggler yawns and stretches, and suddenly feels the sting of its injuries. It mewls at the sight of its master lying unconscious. After sniffing, licking and even gently nipping at its master and getting no response, it begins to prowl around the body protectively.
As the party readies itself out in the hallway, suddenly from the shaft of the ladder you hear Centimere snarl and bark, and then you hear the sounds of struggle.
