Fendahl feels the heavy fog dull his senses, but he does not let it affect him. The fog does not substantially disperse, however, and behind him Artian and Fandral reach for their potions.

I've made Tortuga and Bane big in the crammed sanctuary.

I had a feeling.

Lucija pulls a scroll out of her scroll box and begins weaving its power over the mind fog...

scroll of dispel magic: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

...while her lantern archons boldly swarm out after the wicked div!

I'm assuming my dispel check failed, but I could be wrong about that....

The spell's caster level is non-zero, so yes the dispel fails. Lol.

Bane moved but didn't post? I need a Will save from you (and a note on how you're currently flying).

As the enlarged convict moves forward, the elemental lashes out with two vicious strikes.

Readied Slam @ Bane: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23 HIT Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10
AoO Slam @ Bane: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22 HIT Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 6 = 14

All five archons feel their minds numb as they pass through the fog. -10 to Wisdom checks and Will saves. The imposing elemental lashes out with its howling fists at each of the archons as they pass. Two return to Heaven as they can sustain no more punishment -- the remainder ineffectually harry the div.

AoO Slam vs First: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37 THREAT Confirm: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29 Confirmed Damage: 4d6 + 12 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 1) + 12 = 18

The elemental continues to bludgeon Bane with withering wind-strikes. A brutal punch shatters Bane's jaw and leaves him on the lip of consciousness. The huge creature then rises five feet off its column.

The div ignores the archons and concentrates on the open doorway, waiting for a foe to challenge her.

Fendahl considers trying to call to Kirrah to emerge from the cave, not sure she would understand him in this form, but figures mental attacks on the lioness are likely to end poorly.

Ok, not a form Fendahl is used to taking, so having to calculate stats on the "fly" - some pun intended. :-)

The whirlwind/shaman will fly out of the cave and grow in size/height and try to grab the Div in his vortex.
If the Div is caught, he will try to keep her to the north side for easy monk pummeling if they did not fall.

15' whirlwind:

Creatures one or more size categories smaller than the whirlwind might take damage when caught in the whirlwind (generally damage equal to the monster's slam attack for a creature of its size) and may be lifted into the air. An affected creature must succeed on a Reflex save (DC 10 + half monster’s HD + the monster’s Strength modifier) when it comes into contact with the whirlwind or take damage as if it were hit by the whirlwind creature's slam attack. It must also succeed on a second Reflex save or be picked up bodily and held suspended in the powerful winds, automatically taking the indicated damage each round. A creature that can fly is allowed a Reflex save each round to escape the whirlwind. The creature still takes damage but can leave if the save is successful.
slam dmg 23STR: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Creatures trapped in the whirlwind cannot move except to go where the whirlwind carries them or to escape the whirlwind. Trapped creatures can otherwise act normally, but must succeed on a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) to cast a spell. Creatures caught in the whirlwind take a –4 penalty to Dexterity and a –2 penalty on attack rolls. The whirlwind can have only as many creatures trapped inside at one time as will fit inside the whirlwind’s volume. The whirlwind can eject any carried creatures whenever it wishes as a free action, depositing them in its space.
=
If the whirlwind’s base touches the ground, it creates a swirling cloud of debris. This cloud is centered on the creature and has a diameter equal to half the whirlwind’s height. The cloud obscures all vision, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. Creatures 5 feet away have concealment, while those farther away have total concealment. Those caught in the cloud of debris must succeed on a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) to cast a spell.

So from what I can tell, a couple of Reflex(DC21) saves, 1=avoid damage, 2=avoid being sucked into vortex. Also Caster check to cast spells/SL abilities? Not sure if maybe 2 due to dust. Feel free to adjudicate this mess. Let me know if Fendahl needs to save or anything before making it this far :-(

I forgot that aid includes a bless effect, so all the attack rolls should be 1 higher. (And if stunned, add 2 more to all the attack rolls from that point on.)

@ Lucija: they have a fly skill, so yes they can fall.

Fort: 1d20 ⇒ 1 <-- lol and there goes the fight, ridiculously high saves be damned

While Artian and Fandral get ready to prepare to buff, Fendahl whips himself around the action -- which the div manages to dodge. Tortuga takes advantage of the opening as she's dodging the lion-headed cycle and put a devastating fist in her eye/face. The two monks take advantage of the stunned (and rapidly falling) creature to bury her in the ground.

Out of combat! She's still up, but there's no way she survives another round.

Sinuhotep emerges from his residence and gazes upon the corpse of his tormentor. With a deep breath, he turns to face the open canyon. "Let us leave this place."

Perception DC 20:
In the broken robes of the div, you spot a small vial of blood.

In Katapesh, Tahonikepsu waits in the basement of the Winding Road Lodge. She smiles as the Pathfinders file in with a new recruit. "So my scrying is confirmed. Pathfinders, thanks to your efforts, the amethyst sage jewel is now safe, and it fills my heart with joy to welcome Sinuhotep back to the order -- even without a heart. I am enternally grateful to you, Pathfinders -- you have made it possible for the Jeweled Sages to grow and prosper."

Sinuhotep, for his part, seems equally pleased to meet Tahonikepsu. He wears a faint but confident smile.

Behind a door to a back room, a deep growling can be heard. A moment later, Saruna bursts (literally) through the door. "You..." she shudders at Sinuhotep, before leaping at him with razored claws. Just before her paws would rend him, Saruna is thrust bodily sideways by some massive unseen force, crashing into a pile of flour sacks.

"Saruna," Sinuhotep smiles.

The wounded gynosphinx clambers to her feet. "I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!" she bellows, before thundering up the stairs and disappearing into the City.

From atop a column, Fendahl reverts to his normal form as he watches the Div topple into the canyon. Kirrah, come! and the lioness airwalks out of the cave. Fendahl will mount the feline to ride.

perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (1) + 19 = 20 lol

He notices the Div has item(s) of interest and shares with the team.

Hrrmm, this creature may have more clues to our prior mystery.

Checking the vial .

Alas, I feared Saruna would not take this reunion well. I cannot say she spoke highly of you. Fendahl shakes his head in disapproval at her reaction.

While she appears to hold malice towards you, she has kept her end of most bargains she has made with us. It appears you are able to look out for yourself if she should choose a dishonorable course in the future.

Sinuhotep looks sad for a moment. "She has had a tragic life. I have no doubt our paths will cross again. I will be ready."

Congratulations btw on avoiding a fight with a level 13 psychic lich who took the opportunity to cast all his buff spells before you came in the room. :)

How did we manage to do that? LOL - maybe best not to say!

I'm also curious on how we manage that. My best bet is not attacking Sinuhotep, but not attacking people who wants to talk doesn´t seem difficult

The dive wears a vial of blood, does anyone has any idea of why?

Once they're back in the Winding Road Lodge Artian sees what happens between Saruna and Sinuhotep. Strange reencounter, and strange "allies" has the Society here.
