Saruna mentioned them to me last time.
These creatures are girtablilus, devoted guardians of ancient secrets. They may have useful information.
Fendahl will call back to the creatures, almost in a growl.

We could have right to enter, if the guardians of such ancient place allow us to enter.
It will be not the first sacred place I'll enter and I can swear you I've never done anything to enrage or even bother their guardians.
As my companions had already stated we have just passes a test the proves we're not weaklings. That enranged storm we have just left behind. Most will have perished where we prevailed
Artian stays standing up, defiant and showing his prowess, but avoiding any threating movement thus showing himself as the opposite of a weakling or an enemy to them.

The woman-scorpion lowers her spear a few inches at Artian's words. "Perhaps, brother, perhaps they are the ones we have waited for! They show respect! Perhaps they even have proof of divine favor, Ardashir, proof of righteousness!"
You've made progress with her, although demonstrating control over divine creatures (hint hint: scorpions) or demonstrating knowledge of this sacred place (Know Religion or Bluff) could be helpful. Her brother is less certain of you.
"Bah! They make claims and whine of a mere sandstorm, Anahita! If they be worthy, let one of their number throw my spear back with equal accuracy. Or tell compelling words of their prowess! Or better yet, show us with their own weapons!"
You can throw the spear back at a -4 penalty for distance, or execute a weapon drill with your own weapon (an attack roll). Alternatively you can tell a boastful story, using Intimidate or Perform Oratory (or Bluff).

Fendahl considers summoning a giant scorpion, but looks to Lucija to see if the gnome has the same idea.
Hrrmm, if we show you divine proof or prowess, perhaps knowledge you have in return?
Will sacrifice a level 4 spell to summon natures ally giant scorpion - UNLESS Lucija would rather summon one of her own.

Oh! Right! For this weapon drill, use your Cha mod instead of Str or Dex (but still Dex for the javelin throw). Fandral, how does that alter your roll?

Lucija dismisses her companion, and booms syllables of power. In moments, from out of a crackling portal in the air arrives 1d3 ⇒ 1 a formidably-built, flaming giant scorpion, which approaches Lucija and inclines its back legs, bowing to her.

"Ahhhh!" Anahita breathes with excitement. "See, brother! Does the scorpion not indicate divine favor? Look how strong, how hale it is! Shall we not let them pass?"
"They have yet to prove their worth, sister! All they have to show are magic tricks, bandied words, and flashy displays with flimsy weapons. I could snap that sword in my pincer with ease!" He clacks said pincer to punctuate the point, the sharp retort echoing through the canyon.
Still need to convince Ardashir. Boastful story, return his javelin, or weapon drill.

One last shot at this. Ardashir admires strength and confidence. If you don't have the requisite specific skills, convince me that another applies.
