That will do it.

Salubri realizes that it would be best to work with his party in putting out the fire. He dodges out of the way of the aspis agent and gets closer to the fire to conjure a large splash of water. Between all of you, the fire is finally put out.

But before you can celebrate, the aspis agents attempt to regain control of their senses.

The aspis agent takes a couple of hits, but Salubri continues to be unable to take down his target.

will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Jani fares significantly better, successfully dazing him and stopping him in his tracks.

Wayreth attacks the aspis spellcasters like a whirlwind. His first strike shatters an image, but his second connects with very real flesh! The spellcaster crumples from the powerful blow, blood trickling from his mouth.

Prig and Rowanna, the target of your actions is down. What do you want to do instead? The aspis agent at the door is dazed for 1 round and the other 2 blinded agents are soon going to recover their sight.

I will resolve your actions against against the next best targets. For Prig this will be the other agent within full attack range and for Rowanna, this will be the fleeing aspis agent.

Prig stabs the red-headed agent as she begins to regain her sight, but his second strike pushes her back a little instead of stabbing through her armor. Rowanna attempts to stop the fleeing agent outright by putting him to sleep.
will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
He drops to the floor, unconscious.

The other 2 agents finally regain their sight, and see that the battle is more than half-over. They look around and see but one target that they could potentially gang up on. One of the agents moves around Jani (provoking an attack of opportunity from her), and once the red-headed agent moves to the other side of Jani, the two of them strike simultaneously with their shortswords.
attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

Given that Jani cast frostbite before, they still have two unused touches. Since the spell explicitly gives them multiple touch attacks, the held charge rule that casting another spell disapates the charge shouldn't apply.

Melee touch attack AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 That's a miss, obviously!

@Jani: Wait, what? Why doesn't that apply? It's still a touch spell, and the touch spell rules don't differentiate between a single touch spell and a multi-touch spell like frostbite - they just care whether the spell has been discharged or not.

I mean, it's academic in this case, but if there's an FAQ or clarification I missed, that would be great for my magus coming up.

Prig turns towards the red-head. "Ah, look at you and how cute you are in your silly little flanking pozition. It does not matter. You will die anyway."

I think it's the rule that even if your touch spell allows multiple touches, you still lose the spell altogether if you cast any other spell. Doesn't matter if you have one touch left or 20.

Wayreth brings his palms to his waist as he steps up to the redhead, drawing the surrounding air to his side, then sends twin bursts of compacted air at her with a pushing motion.

I'll move you on quickly so that you have time to try to finish at least one more area. You can roll your healing in your next post.

Prig knocks the last aspis agent unconscious with a stab of his lance.
Salubri quickly ties them up and gags them before Wayreth can snap their necks.

You carefully search the library for Aram Zey's notes and find them hidden in a hollowed out book on one of the shelves that Salubri nearly set on fire. Relieved that they were not burnt in the flames, you collect the notes and move on to the Tapestry Chamber.

Loot from the aspis agents:

Potion of cure moderate wounds
scroll of ray of exhaustion
scroll of silent image
wand of entangle (20 charges)
Potions of Cure Light Wounds x 6
Potions of invisibility x 4
Scroll of levitate x 2
cloak of resistance

You push the door of the Tapestry Chamber open to a grisly sight. The table at the center of this rectangular room is completely contained within a rune-inscribed circle set into the floor. Atop the table lies a Kelishite man’s body, spread-eagled and bloodstained. At the far end of the chamber hangs a ragged tapestry torn down its center. A peaceful wood with trampled undergrowth is visible through the tear, though the tapestry clearly hangs against a solid wall. This room is unlit with a 20-foot-high ceiling.

You recognise the body on the table as that of the Master of Spells Aram Zey. Two lamias (the same creatures as the lion-women you fought earlier at the menagerie) prowl around the table.

“Aram Zey is dead! At long last, our jailer is dead!” one of them chants ecstatically.

“And more of his mewling pups have come to join him!” the other snarls as you enter the room.

Rowanna
Lamias
-----------------------------------------------
Wayreth
Salubri (-8)
Prig (-1)
Jani

Make your fort saves, then decide what you want to do.

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

"No, I prefer to dish it out rather than taking it."

Spellcraft on spell cast on Prig: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Waiting to see if Prig is charmed before acting.

The Exchange

Tiefling Witch 4 | HP 23/23 | AC 20 T 14 FF 17 | Ft +4 / Rf +5 / Wi +6 | Init +7 | Per. +7 (+5 w/out familiar)

Is that a SLA of 'Sleep'? If so, shouldn't it be a 1 round casting time?

Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Apparently doesn't matter anyway!

Sovereign Court

Grippli Gendarme 4/Weapon Master 3

Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

"Defend you? You stinky crazy beast woman? I shall come to meet you, but with ze other end of my lance! I challenge you! Sir... f~!+."

I'm climbing up on the table too. If you want a climb check, I get a 27 (I can take 10 because I have a climb speed.)

Lance to hit w/ Challenge: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

The Exchange

M Sylph Monk1/Rogue3 | HP 31/31 | AC 22(with MA and +1 ring)(24 vs normal ranged attacks); Tch 20(22); FF 13(15) | F +3; R +10; W +3 | BAB+3 CMB 8; CMD 20 | Speed 30 ft | Kick +5 |unarmed +8, 1d6+5, 2d6 sneak attack | Perc +9| Stealth +13 | Sense Motive +15

Wayreth holds one (more) of the invisibility potions and takes the potion of cure moderate wounds as well. But does not drink either one yet. "May need this for a tougher fight later on."

Against the lamias, he moves around the table, hoping to get a flank with Prig next round.

Feeling lucky and wanting to finish things as quickly as possible, Rowanna moves into the room and tries to use her Slumber Hex on the other Lamia.

DC 18 Will Save

The Exchange

Tiefling Witch 4 | HP 23/23 | AC 20 T 14 FF 17 | Ft +4 / Rf +5 / Wi +6 | Init +7 | Per. +7 (+5 w/out familiar)

Jani was going to evil eye vs. Saves... can that go off first against the other Lamia since Jani's before Rowanna in the initiative order? If so, -2 to saves, lasts 9 rounds, or 1 if DC 18 Will save is made. If I go after Rowanna, Misfortune (DC 18 Will save to avoid) on the one being attacked by Prig, unless it falls asleep, in which case the other one.

What does Salubri do?

I'll take one of the Invis Potions, too and two of the CLW, one to hold and one to use.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

I'll send a sudden flash of pure holiness right in between the pair, casting Burst of Radiance to catch both.

Refl DC 16:
Either Blind or Dazzled for 1d4 ⇒ 2 Rounds.

Wayreth moves into the room hoping to get into a better position. Salubri conjures a flash of light between the lamias.
ref: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
ref: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
But the lamias are faster than he anticipated and close their eyes in time to avoid being blinded.

Prig jumps onto the table and takes a stab at the lamia, but his lance slides off her glossy hide. Jani and Rowanna double-team the other lamia.
will: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
will: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
The lamia shakes off the evil eye partially, but not quick enough, and succumbs to Rowanna's slumber hex as a result.

The other lamia screeches in fury as Prig resists her advances. She steps closer to Prig and attacks him furiously with her dagger while saving the claw attacks for her sleeping sister.
dagger: 1d20 + 13 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 13 - 1 = 28
dagger: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 1 = 14
touch: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 1 = 11
claw: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 7 - 1 = 15
claw: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 1 = 9
damage vs Prig: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage vs lamia: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
She stabs Prig once and kicks her sister once as well, who wakes up with a start. She gets to her feet and gives Prig her best smile.
"Oh Sir Frog, would you become a prince if we kissed you?"
Charm monster again! DC15.

Taking a defensive stance, I'll try to roll and leap, moving closer to the further Lamia, and putting less effort into attack and more into my own defense, for now.

Time to use some more spells.

Jani steps forward and with a sickening belch, vomits up a massive swarm of spiders. This carpet of arachnids crawls forward, until the spiders are crawling over both Lamias.

That'd be Vomit Swarm. Yes indeedy. Statistics are of a Spider swarm but unfortunately it still has those lousy save DCs. Oh well, perhaps they'll still fail. 1d6 ⇒ 6 to first lamia, 1d6 ⇒ 2 to second, and while in the swarm they have to make concentration checks to use SLAs, DC 20+spell level.
