Exasperated, exhausted, and aching from all his wounds, Caradeum raises his bow and charges it with arcane power. Taking a step back to the southwest, Caradeum fires four arrows at the ettin.

The rune on Pahg’s forehead fades. The crimson eyes of the ettin-half change to a bright, baby blue and the features on her now perfectly formed head transform into something beautiful – almost heavenly in their beauty.
“And just how do you figure that, Vahr?” The previously wrathful head speaks in a serene melody. “It was your idea to run away from Gorgnak’s harem, because you were envious of all the attention I was receiving. You fought the elves and humans here just as hard as my bewitched self did – but you have not that excuse.”
“The last straw was when the Green-Eyed Queen chose me to serve her and not you! Your jealously has killed …”
A well-placed arrow through one of Pahg’s beautiful azure eyes suddenly silences the ettin. The follow-up shaft that pierces Vahr’s brain settles the issue.
After the resilience and skill displayed by the Eldritch Knight on the Little Thunder Dam and at these ancient Edaserili Ruins, it is fitting that Caradeum delivers the twin death-blows that finish the wayward ettin.
Weiman is up.

Seeing the now overwhelming advantage they have, Weiman will leave the difficult task of "maybe getting hit with a tree stump" to the bigger folk.

Fendahl will half bow with a nod to Caradeum for taking down the chatty Ettin.
"Hrrrmm, she has seen the folly of his decisions.
Turning his attention back to the headless-ogre, he slashes two compact strokes, using Varg's distraction.

"Unless anyone feels strongly against it, I plan to stabilize the ettin after this last creature falls. I truly believe that the ettin was being controlled by these other creatures."
Aakif glances at the arrows protruding from the ettin, then winces.
"Brachus... the ettin may be beyond a stabilize spell. Would you be willing to cast breath of life on it? My resources are nearly spent, and I believe that we should rest before we explore the runis."

I will not stop you, Master Aakif. This creature was unbalanced to be sure. I almost have remorse for her and the binding of her will.
These other two headless giants are too far gone for any chance of redemption.
I just hope there are not more in the caves. We should probably investigate next.
Once the situation looks stable, Fendahl starts calling for Kirrah and tracks down the lioness.

The fire from Brachus’ sun metal spell finally flickers and dies on Varg’s axe, as the final ember of tortured life is extinguished from the aberrant ogre under a withering hail of blade, hammer and spell.
Jealousy and rage are fundamental components of humanoid nature … You can check out any time you like.
But you can never leave.
As the clerics debate whether to try and bring back the fallen ettin, Weiman rejoins the group dusted in an ashy grey-brown substance, which smells like it could have originated from some ancient giant’s intestinal tract. Surprisingly, the halfling searcher-extraordinaire finds no worthwhile treasure on Pahg-Vahr’s body.
However, the pint-sized perceiver has heard and seen numerous giant-kin – some wounded, some not – moving deeper into Flintyreach’s interior only a mile or two from the Pathfinders’ current location. Caradeum suspects these may be the first of King Gorgnak’s forces returning from their battle with The Tusk-Breaker’s brigade.
Surely there will be many more giants swarming the area and soon!
Fendahl realizes searching for Kirrah in the dark with giants roaming the area will take time. Time the Pathfinders may not have if they want to complete their mission.

Concerned with the though of encountering more giants in the dark, Fendahl halts his search for the lion, and recovers dropped weapons,
So into the cave or back the way we arrived?"
