The elemental picks up the sword. It says

auran:
"Feels like a sword. "

"Well it seems the sword is no different.. Lets collect our loot and make sure we didn't miss anything and get the hell outa here.." She walks over and takes the sword from the elemental.. [b]"We need to leave no stone unturned to make sure we get everything we can..

She takes all the fancy Qadiran artwork and rugs etc and puts them inside the portable hole..

Pretty much taking 20 here on searches going back through all the rooms just to make sure they didn't miss and secret stuff.. I understand this will take some time, but time is a luxury they have.. She can summon up a mansion to sleep in if necessary..

You pretty much already have all the loot. Anything else you pick up would be of no actual value.

Suppose I just need to get sheets sent out.

Ok well in that case she'll use her arcane bond to teleport em back to the inn and hand over the sword as per the deal.. Unless others have a reason to stop her..

If it's not a cursed unspeakably evil artifact (I'm surprised it's not), go ahead.

Well actually it does have enough of an ego score to make her into a puppet, but I really don't want to waste enough time dealing with that. Anyway, it can use the scion of the family for a puppet just as well.

I just thought it was like chekov's gun... had to be something of worth or why include it in the narrative at all?

You did he module out of order. The battle with the medusa/snake thingy is supposed to come last and you would have the sword at that point. With it's ego it could influence the combat. At this point it falls into the 'between mission details' black hole of PFS.

Well to sum up. You pop back into the Inn you started at. Dellum greets you and takes the sword off your hands. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed and really doesn't know what he's up against in the sword, so likely he will be its puppet. But then the sword had the sense to not screw with you guys so you don't really know this. The local shepherds are quite happy with you for saving the daughters of one of their number.

You now have a secret which is pretty damned dangerous to know(illegitimacy in the Stavian line of emperors). You'll have to decide what to do with it. You can sell off your loot and go your merry way.

The module provides for some complications with Quadirans being involved, but again that's something for an extended campaign, and since it was optional, I dropped it. The complications are not detailed in the module, but are to be developed by the GM. In the static world of PFS there is no point in pursuing them. The final thing you didn't see didn't actually reveal any new information. It just clarified that the family had made deals with devils, and showed how Stavian's ancestor came to be and the family got screwed (deservedly or not).

I know the emails for Lithuan and Duhwoo. I'll need them from Vuvu (I have it somewhere, but I would have to dig through a lot of email) and Avoreal. Just send them in private messages in here. I will be able to get the sheets out today since I'll have a scanner available.

You can send mine to william.s.arnold@hotmail.com

And yea i suppose i could see how that info could cause a great big smile to appear on any Qadiran face, including Avoreal's.. Along with you i decided not to make a huge deal about it since this is PFS and therefore irrelevant..

I need everyone's PFS numbers so I can register the event.

Lithuan i looked at the spectacles, but in the end im looking for maximum rolls vs SR and the Kimino gives a +4 to all cster level checks, +6 when something occupies the maze spell..

Kimino:
Otherworldly Kimono

Price 67,000 gp; Aura strong conjuration; CL 15th; Weight 1 lb.

Embroidered images of cherry blossoms and cranes in flight adorn this blue silk kimono. The wearer can move and reposition these images on the kimono at will. The kimono grants its wearer a +4 resistance bonus on all saving throws and a +4 bonus on all caster level checks.

Once per day, the wearer can capture a single creature within 60 feet within the kimono (no save), shunting the victim into an extradimensional space similar to that created by a maze spell. Inside this otherworldly prison, the maze appears as an endless cherry orchard filled with “walls” of windblown cherry blossoms and cranes flying overhead. Each round on its turn, the victim inside the kimono may attempt a DC 20 Intelligence check to escape the kimono as a full-round action. If the victim doesn't escape, it is released after 10 minutes, returning to where it had been before the kimono drew it in. If this location is occupied by another creature or a solid object, the subject appears in the nearest open space.

Whenever a creature is drawn inside the kimono, the victim's image temporarily manifests as another embroidered design among the kimono's other images. While a victim is trapped inside, the kimono's bonuses on saving throws and caster level checks are increased by 2 (to +6). The kimono's increased bonuses return to normal when the victim is freed or released.

The spells i selected for the level are Maze and Power Word Stun..

With the G.Spell Pen feat and the Robes im up to +25 vs SR/+27 if someone is mazed..

i took deafening song bolt.

I think I am just going to do some basic Buffs, up my cloak, and my armor class some

I might also get the dark site goggles for dark vision

Here's a couple of nice ways to get darkvision

Darklands Goggles
Price 20,000 gp; Aura moderate transmutation; CL 6th; Weight —

These goggles' dark lenses are made of round obsidian sheets thin enough to see through. They grant the wearer darkvision 120, as well as a +4 competence bonus on Perception checks and Survival checks made to track while underground.

Goggles of Night
Price 12,000 gp; Aura faint transmutation; CL 3rd; Weight —

The lenses of this item are made of violet crystal. Even though the lenses are opaque, when placed over the eyes of the wearer, they enable him to see normally and also grant him 60-foot darkvision. Both lenses must be worn for the magic to be effective.

For the 8k extra i think the darkland ones are worth it.. Dungeons count as underground so the extra perc/surv will come in handy..

Unnamed

yep the googles of the night are the ones. would look cool too, with purple eyes

Oh yall should check out the Dweomer's Essence, i just discoverd it and wish i had long ago..

From the PFS Field Guide..

A note i found about it in 101 tips blog..

Dweomer's Essence (500 gp): Casters take note! For 500 gp this one-off pinch of powder may seem insane, until you notice that you can add it as an extra material component to any spell you are casting and receive a +5 bonus to your caster level to overcome spell resistance. It's like an on-demand rod of piercing spell, except it's available whenever you need it, stacks with the Piercing Spell feat if you really need that spell to land, and doesn't cost you an action to get out a rod or an additional level to apply the metamagic. This is the sort of awesome that I'd pay more than 500 gp for, so enjoy and keep some in the component pouch!

Pretty sweet vs Boss where you really need to hit with your spell..

Also this was talked about and i liked it so much i bought one.. Going to be keep my spellbooks in it..

Pathfinder's Pouch (1,000 gp): This little gem from Seekers of Secrets functions as a small bag of holding, allowing one to store up to 10 pounds of items within its 2-cubic-feet limit. Why is it special? Because detect magic ain't got nothing on this pro—thus, a Pathfinder can keep important or dangerous items safe in its confines with little worry from guards, customs, and random searches. Even if the pouch is opened and turned upside down with a shake, as long as the proper command word remains unspoken, nothing in the extradimensional space will fall out.

expensive, but a little broken

Which one? lol

I assume you mean the Kimino.. Yes it's redic good, but costs an arm and a leg.. I went down 1 on all my saves and lost 2 ac to get it..

Nah, the essence seems a touch broken to me, though the price is possibly enough of an offset. However some spells basically end combats if they land and lack a save, so only the SR is an obstacle. This short circuits it.

Yea i thought it was a bit much as well, but its legal so i guess piazo thinks its ok.. Wish i had more cash to buy more, but i needed to get my spells upgraded..

Yeah, well I'm coming to the conclusion that the Pathfinder writers are starting to lose their grasp on balance. PFS will be PFS, but my home game is getting a growing list of 'hell no' items and such.
