Honestly, I may as well just waive this since he's going to get carved into chunky bits as soon as Duh or Lithuan get a full attack on him and he's nauseated for the duration.

One your way back out someone notices that one of the skulls in the Charnel House has a gem in it's mouth (trivial perception check). You now have all the toys needed to activate the medusa teleporter you were told about by the Efreet Noble.

looks like Duhwoo did OK whilst I was away today -- and he made all his saving throws whilst bot'd, which never woulda happened if I had been around and running him!

Duhwoo will slurp down one of those potions of Cure Critical Wounds we found earlier...

and use 2 charges from his wand of Cure Light Wounds:

If you have the goodies, you don't need UMD. You can bypass having to have the goodies with a high enough UMD roll. Moot now of course.
You place the various knick knacks into the receptacles on the medusa face, and voila you are subject to the teleportation sensation once more.

You arrive on top of another mosaic of a medusa face.

is that a huge statue, or maybe something on the floor, to the west of the party (where the room tapers to a point)?


Weird, it left that out of the description.I don't see why.

There is a curtain on the east wall, and behind it is a door with the normal mechanism you've seen in the rest of the complex. You don't find any apparent trap.


I'm not the person to ask since I don't make that decision. Lithuan seems to be of that opinion however.

Indeed it does -- and we had to go through the vacuum cleaner entry interface again, but from there we just stroll back to the Teleporting medusa face, and right back to the Aroden room with huge Murdering Medusa statue.

I'm just verifying with the DM that we don't encounter interference in acquiring spell casting services in town, or returning to where we were before we beamed out...

However, it does say duration is to be divided in 10-minute increments. Duhwoo is willing to forego his dose, so 3 can get 50 minutes instead of 4 getting 30 each. (Already having 3 DR and lots o' hit points.)
