Powerful bite which she gets at 7th level 8s pretty nasty

I'll probably make Cyrene into a new PFS character so we can keep the group together. Likely an arcanist or sorceror, unless the boon for this module is really worthwhile?

No, you cannot trade chronicles, just boons. Unless you guys don't plan on using these characters anywhere else, at which point this is just a home campaign using PFS rules.

You get to scribe free spells if I am correct.

That is what I thought.

Which is a great point. This is the only PFS I play. I personally don't mind if we continue non-PFS, but I also think there could be some flexibility in the rules.

Let me ask a VC.

There's a couple of other AP books that ove completed in home games. I could use those and pick up a couple more levels, i can make it to level 4, 5 if I use Siobhan but she's already an Oracle, so I can't do much to help on the arcane front.

So, is anyone going slow track, or am I just writing these chronicles straight. Nik, I don't suggest you go slow with any chronicle until you've caught up to the group in levels.

Regular please! :D I'd take Fast if it existed! :)

I've just created Cyrene Two-spell as my newest PFS character, can she have the chronicle please? :)

Halfling - so Sorceror is best choice, then Arcanist... Would the versatility be useful do we think?

Hey, Ben:

Unfortunately, you can not transfer player or GM credit to a different person. That is not PFS legal.

That said...

If you are playing an adventure path you could play in campaign mode and the player could create a PC at any necessary level you need since you do not have to follow PFS rules for character creation in campaign mode (even though you get a chronicle to assign at the end that you apply like a pregen credit.)

Since you guys are playing at, roughly, APL 5 - the player could also use a level 4 or 7 PreGen, depending on the sceanrio/module you guys are playing.

The third option would be to have the party play pregens or new PCs until this PC "catches up" and then move them into the party with the other PCs once level parity has been reached with the party.

Hope that helps - let us know if you have any other questions.

Best Wishes,

- Jesse

Jesse,

Can I please donate some of my PFS GM credit to another PC?

We have been playing a PBP PFD game for 2.5 years, and we had another PC join. We have completed 10 scenarios and modules, so most the party is 5th level, with one PC at 6th level.

I would like to donate two if my Adventure Path GM credits to this new player, and even the group out at 6th level. It would be the first time in the entirety of the game we could have the entire party at the same level.

Can you approve this deviation from policy?

Thank you!

I would like to express an opinion on Mariana's request. While I have no problem with her coming back I would like to ask that communication take place. I understand that life gets in the way at times but the courtesy to fellow players and the DM is important. Players and the DM shouldn't have to be guessing whether or not a person is still around, that causes trouble for the game. I would just like to ask that communication be open in the future if she is planning on playing with us. Yes, I understand that this is a game but people are vested in terms of time and other resources.

Thanks Dissa. I should be ok once I get all my GM credit sorted out. I'll be able to get to 6. The major thing I need now is all the right chronicles.

As to Mariana, I feel like it's not really my place to say. You guys were playing a long time before I was. :)

Yeah, I totally understand communication, that was totally my bad, and I do feel bad about it. Agreed re: time / story / emotional investment as well, I'd be irked if someone had ghosted my game too. Unless anyone has a suggestion, I also feel bad there's not a lot I can do to make it up to y'all except to not do it again. :(

I would love to resume playing with you all, and take a chronicle sheet, however.

Do I need day job?

I have been busy at work all weekend, I'll try to get the chronicles out tonight. As for dayjob, it usually takes so long for people to respond with those after games that I've just started leaving them blank for players to fill out themselves. Since the entire thing is an honor system anyway I didn't see much harm in it.

I'd say see how Kontha does against level appropriate foes before getting her the amulet. If it feels like she's lagging in hit or damage then get it.

Did we decide on what module/scenario to play next?

Sounds like we can do a 5-7 module, just need to look for one from the list. I've actually got all of the stuff for Carrion Hill ready if anyone wants to play that, otherwise it looks like we have a relatively short list of things available at the moment.

All modules listed below are PFS legal. There are quite a few in this level range that are not for PFS.

The House on Hook Street is a super-module, designed to take characters from 6th to 9th level. It's rated 4.8 stars on Paizo, and I would most like to do this.

From Shore to Sea is a 5-7 module with around 4 stars. It's boat & pirate stuff, which is likely not ideal for Dissa or Kontha, but this would be my second choice.

Broken Chains is a 5-7 module with 2.5 stars.

Unfortunately, I have already played Carrion Hill. It was my first PFS game, and my pre-gen died at the end. It was not a great "experience".
