I'd say if we don't get a response within a few days I can start hitting up the Flaxseed folks. With it being the holiday weekend we may not get much at all at first. Also, I would be fine with trying to get a 5th player or just continue with what we currently have; we have the 'basics' covered pretty well; fight-line fighter (Gwen), skill/trap monkey (Locke), arcane caster (Fiona), and healer (Tereze). Having a secondary front-liner may not be a bad idea since Gwen's AC is subpar.

![]() |

We could use a way to deal damage, as Gwen you lock things down, but it doesn't seem to really do that much damage.
And groups are going to give us fits.

![]() |

Ah.
That makes sense.
Ill miss steph and sad to see this 'event' come to an end.
Hope you guys are able to keep going.

I hope you'll forgive me for diving into your discussion thread, but I just wanted to let you know that, if you're interested, I'd be happy to take over GMing for you all. I love the idea of playing PFS scenarios with the same group, and though I've just started reading through your Gameplay, it seems like a fun concept. I also own all the scenarios, so no issue there.
Though they're really just getting started, you can look at a few of my other GM'd adventures to get a sense for my style here and here.
Let me know if you're interesting in having me!

![]() |

Glad to have you, Shalm! I won't speak for the others, but I'm very glad to have you interested and would gladly accept you as our new GM.

![]() |

Yay! I'm glad your interested. Consider this vote 3 in favor.

Peculiar things about Locke?
Well, i am masked pretty much all of the time, think a mask from Venice, mantle included, and no one distinct vocal tone.
Other than that, Locke was last to join the team.
------------
I'll toss out a lure for a 5th.

Lets see, things for you to know, in no particular order:
The Three girls are friends. With Tereze and Gwen being good friends, and Fiona hovering around the edges.
Gwen has a Tavern, that she is working to get into shape between adventures (she took it as a vanity)
Locke likes to think of himself as being mysterious about his gender, but Tereze at least has put him firmly as a male.
Fiona is something of a enigma still for the group, never really trying to take the spotlight.
Also as you may have noticed, we tend to be a bit more of role-players then your average society table, in part because we have stuck together so long. So there are times where we will get a bit off track with character interactions if something major happens. (Like when a character dies, or decides to leave the group.) Normally we get back on track after a bit.
As for Tereze herself, the High level is: Young woman, exiled from home who is trying to work off Survivors Guilt for someone who sacrificed herself for her.
That guilt manifests itself as a ghastly creature whenever she uses her haunted oracle powers. (See her character history if you want more info).
She also has a tendency to try to stop civilized humanoids from dying, thinking that maybe if she saves enough it will work off her debt/guilt, so she takes dying humanoids hard.
Finally for the Campaign: It was set up that we escaped the town in Dragon's Demand, so we can train to go back and fight the dragon... So at least these last couple missions (until the last part of DD) have all be given the frame story as training missions for us, where we need to learn the lessons we need to save the town.

*smirks faintly*
^_-Also, i've got a nibble.
Seems the one has played Dragon's Demand and King Xenos, but otherwise is fine to go, as they can apply GM credit to keep up on level.
I'm thinking pregen for those played parts?

Will the Pre-gen get a red shirt?

I liked this summary ;)
and welcome DM Shalm! As for peculiar things about Fiona: she has her issues and sometimes reacts in weird ways to events although recently she's been better than the beginning. She still doesn't have an image though, and is more distant & hesitant about opening up to the others.

Of note,
I've heard that since we're at legal minimum, the King Xeros mission would be a time out. Since replaying requires either the participant to make a legal size, or using boon/GM stars.
Dragon's Demand, in campaign version, like Steph likely intended, is in the clear.

I'm good with Testudo.
They look like a dependable poster and a rather fun build.
(A Giant Tortoise as a mount? - That's a new one on me)

![]() |

Anyone this group picks would likely be good with me. I'll take a peak at the profile a little later when I have some time. Tortoise mount? Awesome.
Also, GM, only fun thing you need to really be aware with for Gwen is grappling rules! I have a pretty good understanding of them as I did a lot of research of the rules before making Gwen, but I'm not perfect so if I make a mistake, by all means feel free to let me know!

A young man steps into the room and blows a tune on a trumpet before unrolling a scroll.
ANNOUNCING OF THE NOBLE HOUSE GRAECA, 5TH OF HIS NAME, SMASHER OF OBSTACLES, ROUTER OF EVIL, AND 10 TIME GRAECA FAMILY HOUSE TURTLE RACING CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER, TESTUDO GRAECA
As he puts away his horn, a very large man with a very large smile, matched only by the very large turtle that he sits in a strange cross legged saddle to ride upon.
HELLO NEW FRIENDS AND FELLOW PATHFINDERS! He half roars, half cheers.
He flips a copper to the boy who steps out.
I AM TESTUDO! AND THIS IS MY MIGHTY STEED, THE FASTEST SHELL THIS SIDE OF THE INNER SEA, ROSHI!
Your not entirely sure, but you think the turtle may have rolled it's eyes.
Introductions made, he bows.
I look forward to being of service.

*blink* O.O
*blink* O.O
Locke opens up the diary Ery sent in the package, and starts writing the first few lines of the new mission's report.
We are sent on a mission to recover a missing agent at some opera house.
Before departure however, we came upon a peculiar individual, riding on a tortoise.
He had hired a kid to do big introductions.
(closes the diary and stashes it in backpack)

I almost responded to this in character.... But since it's here.
Welcome! I have a feeling you are going to be the perfect companion for our mission to Taldan. Or at least it will make the role play more fun....
That said:
Why do I feel like we need to awaken this Turtle so he can have a running commentary how ridiculous he thinks his rider is.
Too bad that would probably make him ineligible to be Testudo's mount.

Shalm |

Very excited to have you on board, Testudo! And thanks everybody for the updates on what I should know about your characters.
Looks to me like you want to roleplay a bit with the new character and with losing Urbar, which is great. I'll give you some time to do that. In the meantime, I'll let you know what your knowledge rolls reveals, but if anyone else wants to make a check, go ahead. And then when you're ready to head to Taldor, just let me know and we'll move forward!

Just wondering are we doing faction missions or not in this adventure?
I'm OK either way.

Hi all,
I know I've been pretty sporadic with my posts recently. It's been a pretty crazy few weeks both at work and in life, and though I've had all the best intentions, it has caused me to be less than reliable.
With all of that said, things have calmed down and I'm ready to get back at it! So, please accept my apology and look for me to hop right back in!

![]() |

I believe Gwen is a Police officer here in the Midwest, and we just went through some nasty weather, so she may still be dealing with some of that...
That said, Gwen normally grapples the most dangerous Nasty she can reach. So If you want to post for her, I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

Shalm |

Gotcha, understood. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to continue playing her character though, at least the level that she probably deserves. Does anyone have any interest in continuing to run Gwen through this adventure?
The other options would be:
- Run the rest of the adventure with four characters (and then she can join back in whenever she returns)
- I could run a pregen (which would be a bit simpler), and Gwen could join back in if she returns during this adventure or future adventures
Thoughts?

Hey guys, I'm back. Sorry, I've been really, really busy the past few weeks. I'll get caught up now! Very sorry to disappear like that without much word.
