Charasii continues his assault and smashes another chip of the old block.

Akeyra maintains her grapple, and squeezes the yellow column to tiny bits

When the yellow column crumbles to tiny bits, Shayla steps up to the remaining column with a 5-foot step. This time Akeyra doesn't drag the column up a circle before Shayla gets to strike, and Shayla's able to make use of the height advantage. Hitting it with 3 of her 4 attacks and drawing a couple of deep scratches..some deeper then others.

Kalaron stabs swiftly trusting in its superior dwarven craftsmanship to pierce it's stony skin but the tip of his dagger is deflected by the stone statue (doesn't hit AC)

Archibald sends a telekinetic fist towards the statue but the impact is just absorbed by it's stone body (As far as I can tell this is reduced by DR)

Clandelve protects his vitals as best as he can

The giant face made out of smoke behind the glass wall seems to scream in silent outrage as the floor tilts back into it's flat position and the other door unlocks as well.

Archibald, having been effectively walled out of the melee and finding his sufficient magical talents were utterly ineffective against the statues, blusters off toward D4, eager to prove his wizardly worth. He waits impatiently by the blue door, tapping his boots and leaning on his staff.

@Clandelve: The doors to the room with the columns were locked when the columns did appear. Rozimus was locked inside the room we found him in, but picked the lock to join us. Now combat's over the northern door also unlocked itself, allowing us to leave the room again.

Shayla follows after Archibald, wondering if the blue door can be opened this time. If it's still not possible to open it, Shayla suggests to try the yellow door instead. "I wonder if these colors each represent a different challenge."

If even the yellow door doesn't want to open, Shayla will move over to the red door instead.

As you leave this room and enter the one you started in a portal opens in the middle of the room out of thin air, swirling energies expanding and growing bigger and then a slithering, multilegged blue reptile has a fearsome head crowned with two large, curling horns jumps out of it and hisses at you and starts to move towards you aggressively

Archibald Hastes the party.

While Clandelve steps forward and maximizes on the extra haste he's been granted to unleash a fury of attacks hitting the creature with 3 of his attacks (AC 13 misses flatfooted AC)

Chrasii remembers hearing that close combat with behirs is inadvisable. As well as a nasty bite, these creatures are natural grapplers, can constrict opponents in the coils of their bodies and can inflict multiple rake attacks on grappled foes with their six pairs of legs.

He then rushes forward and assists Clandelve in attacking the creature but his weapon bounces of the creature though scales without damaging the flesh underneath (doesn't hit flatfooted AC)

@Charasii; In case you can't see the map, you can do a 5ft step and full attack, with haste that's at least an extra attack ..or move further and set-up a flank - so feel free to do either of those, I moved you next to the creature (5ft step) for now so you could at least attack it

The Behir turns it's attention to the creature that just hurt it

Archibald at the front of the party swings his staff twice at the creature..but is only able to hit once.

Clandelve continues to happily swing away at the creature, mimicing Archibald by also only hitting with 50% of his attacks.

Kalaron moves forward to join provoking from the huge creature who tries to bite down as Kalaron get's closer

Lars joins Rozimus moving to the side and going full defensive standing back to back in case any more statues start to animate

The big snake tries to bite the even bigger reptile and can't get it's fangs to sink through the though scales Also pretty sure you can't grab something bigger then you unless it specifically says so..which I don't think a constrictor can

Charasii uses his enhanced speed to move to the other side of the creature who is too busy with Kalaron to take a bite at the passing human

The reptile concentrates his attack on poor Kalaron
Maintain grapple vs Kalaron: 1d20 + 18 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 18 + 5 = 26
Hrm...6 claw attacks might kill Kalaron..so going for the swallow hole..cause it's also cool to do once
Kalaron is swallowed up hole through the creatures maw and can be seen moving down the creature throat taking damage as he is forcefully moved into the creature stomage.

My bad! I looked the size thing up in the grapple rules, instead of the grab rules. The grapple rules seem to be fine fine with grappling larger opponents, hence the mistake.

Akeyra looks rather frustrated she can't apply her usual strategy to this particular enemy. Lucky for her, Archibald's spell lets Akeyra attack twice to compensate for the lack of constrict damage she can dish out.

In horror at the sight of Kalaron disappearing inside the reptiles gullet the party is quick to react and deals enough damage to drop the huge creature and are able to cut Kalaron out of it's stomach right before a portal opens right above the creature and sucks it remains back into where ever it came from in the first place.

And then finds out he can't cast resistance and guidance on everyone all by himself Both resistance and guidance last 1 minute..even if just targeting the 6 party members and not the snake and Rozimus that means that the first spell is wearing of on people before you get around to casting the second spell on everyone. But as far as I can tell Kalaron also has guidance on his spell list..so he can help you with that..order might be important since some people will have it for about 6 rounds less then the last one..so going with order of how I have initiative set up unless you want a specific order

The biggest difference between the room you are in and the one after that is that the door in this one in straight in front of you and the door exiting the next room is to your right.

I was just casting those spells as part of our SOP. I figure I will cast them on each person right before they enter rather than casting on everyone and then entering. I also will only cast on the first couple of people going in each room as I believe I am 3rd in the marching order.
