The party speaking in a friendly manner to the man just barely manage to convince him to talk with them.
He introduces himself as Rozimus. He explains that he went into this dungeon with his companions to explore it for ...uhmm.."scientific reasons" (= he clearly means to loot); a heavily bearded bald human wizard, an armored elf with the symbol of Sarenrae on her shield, and a bulky half-ore warrior with tribal markings and a nasty spear. But they got separated and he fears the worst for them. He sees value in strength in numbers and he thinks that teaming up with you guys would be a good idea...as long as you keep that elf away from him.

That's actually not a door...but the glass wall that has the yellow smoke behind it
As Lars leads the party (including your new "friend") into the room where you fought the statues the door behind you closes locking Rozimus on the other side, the floor tilts at uneven angles and:
The yellow smoke roils and seethes as it slowly begins to take on the image of a giant face. The smoky image seems to look forth from its vantage point behind the glass inset into the wall, scowling hatefully. It speaks in a raspy, disgusted voice. "Foolish apprentices,"it spits, "how I should have predicted your betrayal at my most critical moment. Seek to escape into some unwritten time, eh? By now you must have realized your ioun stone array has failed. You now stand marooned in time, living a day, an hour, a single moment stretched into an infinity over countless centuries yet to dawn-one final lesson in obedience from your very, very disappointed master. It does my heart proud to know that your last, eternal moments will see you hunted like animals. Farewell, my faithless friends. Test all I have taught you against the blades of Azlant!"
With that another 3 statues animate around the room and move towards you.

Since this is the first time Archibald sees these..he might wants to roll a knowledge (dungeoneering) check. Also the targets for slow can't be further then 30ft apart from each other...which means you can only target 1 statue with it at the moment. If you do something else before everyone else has posted and it's the statue's turn that's fine by me..or you can keep your action.

Archibald starts to cast a spell and magic missiles fly from his finger tips to one of the statues..but then right before they hit they seems to dissipate into the air around the statue and doesn't even get close to the statue itself (magic missile didn't do anything to it)
Charasii moves and engaged one of the statues hitting it but only sending a tiny sliver of stone shattering away from it
Shayla moves closer to one of the statues and then takes a defensive posture right before reaching it and sicking her pet snake on it as well.
Akerya bites down on one of the statues and almost shatters both of its fangs and then clamps down and winds her body around the statue pulling it closer
Clandelve moves to the only statue he can reach and slams his hammer into its head sending a small sized chunk of stone away from the statue's torso

Kalaron and Lars wave their weapons around themselves to fend of any statues from getting close to them (NPC-ing them in for full defense)
The statue grabbed by the big snake tries to push his sword through it's scales and into the flesh underneath
to hit AC snake: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
but it can't get a proper angle and the sword just scrapes a bit over the scales
The one next to Charasii takes a swing at him
To hit AC Charasii: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
but it's aim is of and it's stone sword just hits air.
The last statue charges Charasii

The giant face made from smoke cackles madly.
The big snake crushes the statue inside her coils and pieces of stone fall to the floor. The snake then unwinds and moves to the middle of the room while Shayla moves towards the remaining 2 statues. Closely followed by Clandelve..who has a bit of trouble keeping up with his shorter legs
AC 12 is a miss
Charasii swings his weapon at the statue in front of him and it's deflected harmlessly to the side with out even scratching it
Lars moves in behind Rozimus and Charasi, then aims his spear to weaken the enemy's defenses aiding Charasii by providing an opening for his next attack (+3 to Charasii's next attack)

Akeyra attacks the yellow column with a bite manages to do so and scrapes her fangs across it's surface then grabs hold of it..pulling it closer to her body as she does.
@Shayla, no more higher ground since your pet snake just pulled it up next to her..still hits though

When the yellow column crumbles to tiny bits, Shayla steps up to the remaining column with a 5-foot step. This time Akeyra doesn't drag the column up a circle before Shayla gets to strike, and Shayla's able to make use of the height advantage.
