Hi,
I'm planning to run Thornkeep: The Accursed Halls (lvls 1-2) and The Forgotten Laboratory (lvl 2-4) for PFS legal characters (and if I get to play it myself , maybe even the Egnima Vaults after that).
The people already in the party are:
-A lvl 2 axe and board dwarf fighter
-A lvl 2 human Ugrosh wielding fighter who was adopted by dwarves (the only exception on being a dwarf)
-A lvl 2 dwarf warpriest
They lost 2 other dwarves in the party while moving towards Thornkeep..but they'd like to continue the dwarf theme.
So We/I/They are currently looking for 1 or 2 people who have:
-A dwarf character of lvl 2 (1 is also ok, but 2 is preferred. If you're new to pfs and/or pbp but have an awesome idea..feel free to sign up.)
-Who brings something to the party they don't already have (like skills, trapfinding, knowledges, arcane magic, more/better healing..or even long range ranged attacks
-Who can post at least once a day (more is better, but if you can make the once a day it's fine)
-You don't have to be an optimized character, but at least be capable at what your trying to do.
So thinking along the lines of:
Dwarf stonelord paladin, Dwarf summoner with an earth elemental eidelon, dwarf gunslinger with a blunderbuss, dwarf rogue with trapfinding and a crossbow,a dwarf wizard with the earth elemental school or even a dwarf cleric with some nice domains.
Final picks will be done by current party members (if they have a choice).
If you want to join but for some reason don't like to play dwarves...you'd better have an awesome sales pitch ;)

As one of the dwarves in the previous two games we did with this group, I can say that if I'd not already played the Thornkeep levels, I'd still be there!
Revvy's game moves along at a good clip too, which is nice!
Course, we were 3 fighters, a barbarian, and a warpriest at the time, so it was all shock and awe, no fancy tactics. =)

Still need to hear from a few people (including Kalaron..whom we seem to have lost in transition) but I think that Glorin and Clandelve will agree with me that Heinrich and Cogstadt would make nice additions to the party
(all though it would help if someone would invest in some way to heal - like a wand of cure light wounds)
We also have Xerance and Samuel (a human fighter) and Dylos who are interested and maybe a dwarf crossbow wielding fighter...I've asked a few more people so that we would get a good pick of dwarves...but most of the work will be setting up the stuff so I'm willing to run a second group for the people who don't make it into the awesome dwarf group if they have a nice character idea and we get a group whom I think won't die too quickly in Thornkeep ;)

I also would like to throw my hat into the ring for group one or two.
Have two characters that I would like to run through the first level of Thornkeep. A dwarf druid who should be avaible very soon and this sorcerer here. Both characters are at 1.2 XP. Unfortunatly I have already played the 2nd level of this dungeon.

You don't just want to keep Xerance? You're done with the confirmation anyway.
So far it looks like:
-Dwarves: Clandelve, Kalaron, Heinrich, Glorin and Cogstadt
-Other group: Xerance/Garox, Glyndower/Dylos, Samuel,Merrick of Blackwood and Calistan (all though I'm not sure how the harrow deck is supposed to work in pbp since you are supposed to use the actual harrow deck to pick cards from). I've got to warn you ..having at least 2-3? newly made characters might be a bit risky..there's one or two encounters in there that can be ....a bit dangerous.
and Sam/his dwarf druid for only the first level..unless more people show up who can make it for both levels

I own a harrow deck (which is required for in-person PFS) however I assume that you can just roll 1d6 for suit and 1d9 for the alignment on PbP.
As such, Harrow Deck: 1d6 ⇒ 11d9 ⇒ 2.
Suits: 1=Strength, 2=Dexterity, 3=Constitution, 4=Intelligence, 5=Wisdom, 6=Charisma
Alignments (in order): LG, NG, CG, LN, N, CN, LE, NE, CE
Thus, I get NG of Strength or The Keep: A symbol of quiet strength, one that can move when necessary, yet stand firm through the greatest hardship. Those represented by The Keep are not shaken by any force. If The Keep appears misaligned, it can mean giving way to temptation or falling in the face of greater strength.

@Calistan: It has not been clarified - according to Additional Resources, "Any alternative means to simulate the Harrow deck, such as a normal deck of cards or dice, is not legal". RAW, that means that it is extremely difficult to use a Harrow Deck in a PbP (unless you went to the extrememe of posting a real-time feed to your use of the Harrow Deck). I know that it is unfortunate, but if the PFS leadership allowed dice-rolling for PbP games, IRL players would argue that they should be allowed to do the same :-/

For what its worth, per the additional resources, the Cartomancer never needs a physical harrow deck, because they don't care what they draw for any ability. Additionally, the Card Caster Magus doesn't care what card they draw until third level, so it shouldn't cause any issues at this level, but until the online play community comes up with an answer for harrowing online, you may want to reconsider playing a harrow involved character online.

If we're worried about survivability of the second group, I have a 2.2 Swashbuckler (who is still eligible for rebuild), I wanted to save his rebuild for after the release of the Advanced Class Guide, Or possibly even until the release of Advanced Class Origins but playing him would likely be preferable to having my Undine die.

Until I get word that you are allowed to use dice rolls in online games to use the harrowed deck I'm afraid I'm not going to touch that one......
Last I've heard is by Michael Brock last week (June 12th)"Right now, a normal deck of cards or dice rolling isn't a legal method for determine Harrow results. An actual Harrow deck has to be used. I believe some people in the online community have been looking into ways to use a virtual Harrow deck for online events."
(seems they could have easily allowed to use dice rolls and choose to not do it)
All dwarves, please check in on this thread (both discussion and gameplay) if you haven't already.
So that would be: Clandelve, Glorin, Kalaron, Heinrich and Cogstadt
The others should go here
That would be:
Xerance/Aviendha, Samuel, Dylos with the character he chooses, Merrick Blackwood, Calistan's character (if he still wants to play if he doesn't get to use a harrow deck, I think as per Dylos comment that you can still play the character and that it won't effect you very much until you get to a higher lvl)
Sam/Buri can choose which party he wants right now, all though I'd prefer he picks the others in case Calistan chooses to opt out
We'll get started once everyone has checked in and is finished with updating their character.

Maybe..but that would also result in the GM having to carry the deck around with him everywhere he goes...which would limit people from updating from their phones, at work, ect..and in my case ..I don't own a harrow deck.
And that's not even getting into the whole do you trust someone else to do stuff for you..which is basically the other side of trusting the player to draw cards from his actual deck.
Personally I don't care that much, but since this is PFS, we've got to stick to those rules.
