Thank you so much for running this, GM! (StephNyan here.)
Judging by the other character it looks like it'll be subtier 1-2. So I'd like to play this scenario with Saera.

That is exactly why I needed to play this scenario with this character, LOL. I couldn't pass up the role playing opportunities. :)
Edit: I'm using a gm star replay for this one.

I did GenCon in 07 & 08... and Origins a few times before that. It's a great time; slightly overwhelming...but in a good way!
We're about to start the final encounter...if anyone wants to stick around for another scenario I'm thinking about running Scars of the Third Crusade. It's a lot more roleplay centric; I just played it with my Paladin and he didn't make a single attack roll!

It's an odd scenario...it encourages the party to split up in the beginning. A lot of roleplay, a lot of skill checks. Hopefully someone has a rank in Diplomacy....
Splitting works betting in PbP than in FtF, since you can do it in parallel rather than people sitting around waiting.
No Diplomacy, but I do have some Bluff.

I'd like to continue with Saera! She isn't any good at using Diplomacy, but her Bluff is quite high when lying.
Would putting a rank in Intimidate by a good idea for Scars of the Third Crusade?

Switching to discussion and agreeing it's irrelevant for the moment, but Alchemist bombs explicitly can crit. They just get an extra d6 and int bonus, not the per level d6 damage.
The damage of an alchemist's bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike).
They're not quite splash weapons.

...and here are the Chronicle Sheets. Let me know if there are any issues.
Calchas...have a blast at GenCon. Bring home some killer boons! I'll have the Scars of the Third Crusade threads up tonight and will post links here.

Thanks for running this game game GM! Enjoyed it a lot, and looking forward to the next scenario! :)
(Also going to do some rebuilding. Hitting level 2 now.)
Here's my Day Job roll. In older scenarios the GM has to sign for receiving Day Job money, could you please do this GM Bennan?
Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Also thanks. That was a really quick game. Good work everyone staying on top of it.
Day job as well Craft(Alchemy): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34

My initials are at the bottom of the "items sold" box…and I left a spot at the top of that for you to type/write in your Day Job gold.
In the meantime I've set up the thread for Scars of the Third Crusade. Now its time to read the new (and improved?) Guide to Organized Play!

<-- doesn't use Craft (alchemy) for day job checks :)
[dice=Day Job (Sleight of Hand)]1d20+10
A Day Job has to be a trained Craft, Perform, or Profession check.

Calchas has the "Thieves' Guild" vanity, which does allow him to use Sleight of Hand for Day Job checks.
