Hmm, Spirit Guide looks really great--lots of flexibility. But most of the best features don't come online for several more levels--especially considering I'm splitting levels with Paladin.

Sorry for my silence. The last few days have been really rough, and I've had to take a step back for my own mental stability. I'm back now, and I should be able to resume some semblance of a normal posting schedule.
However, I will be out of town from Friday night to Sunday night (my time). The fella and I are having weekend in Victor Harbour to recharge our batteries, and I may not be able to post. If it holds things up, bot me.

A note to all my games:
I am closing on my house on 10/30 at 9AM Central. That means between now and then and a few days after, my world revolves around packing and getting ready to move. We are moving all the big stuff the next day. Internet should be on at the house 10/30 in the afternoon. The DC are listed in the 'prepared spells' thing in my character line/header thing. I put them there because I keep forgetting to post them in my actions. Believe it or not, I am trying to remember. Just keep rolling ones.

So, it's coming into summer here in South Australia, and that means it's fire season. We've had several Catastrophic danger levels this month. (The scale is Low - Moderate - High - Very High - Severe - Extreme - Catastrophic, because Australia does not f~$@ around.)
Today, we had a fire start out near my place of employment, which is in a rural area. Even though the wind was blowing away from us, we evacuated the whole site just to play it safe. And because it's a primary school, that resulted in 350 terrified kids and stressed teachers being kept indoors and taking drink and toilet breaks in pairs, while every member of leadership and support staff rang the parents of every child to evacuate them. I'm home now, and all the main roads near me have been closed off. I'm safe, but shaken, and it's made me realize that there may well come a time when I'm affected by a fire and won't be able to get online and let everyone know. If that happens, I'll try to get a real-life friend with a Paizo account to spread the word.

Just when I was starting to really recover from my breakup, my beautiful spaniel Ruby-Charles died this morning. She was my first real pet, and she's left some big fuzzy boots to fill. Posting may be a bit hit-and-miss while I try to heal. Sorry to do this again so soon, but sometimes the d20 of life falls on a 1.

Go ahead and make your day job rolls if you have them. We are on the last encounter, but we only have 12 days left to finish to be eligible for boons so I may need to push a little.
Also, Melufiuos you picked up the filth fever disease from the rats. Would you prefer to spend 150gp or 1 pp to remove that disease?

After a throwaway line about my 7 Wis, 14 Int kitsune fighter organizing all the books in the Overflow Archives in a new method she dubbed the "Kimi Decimal System" (named after herself), she now has ranks in Profession (librarian). She isn't very good at it; she keeps botching the rolls because "the books aren't in the right system".
Also, whenever we encounter a library, or a collection of books, in any scale, in a scenario, someone in my local PFS chapter will invariably ask if they're organized according to the Kimi Decimal System. Because inside jokes are great fun.

Quiella needs that boon that lets her use diplomacy for day jobs. Where does that come from? Or UMD--that would be even better.

So a bit more about my absence. My move did not go well and during the move I was diagnosed with diabetes and my normally high-normal blood pressure spiked to high-high, dangerously high. In addition, my entire family got sick at least once. Work has been a bear and all. I am better, meds are working to bring my blood sugar and blood pressure down, feeling better and work is some better, with a bad seed on my team resigning, but more work for me because of that.
I apologize for being so silent, I should have at least posted that I wasn't leaving you all, just having a hard time getting back online. Last night I finally got my computer up and running and on the internet. Still have some work to do to get it right and fix some internet issues, but I should be available to post most evenings.
Thanks for botting me GM, played well. Yes, I probably would have left Frostfur on the surface, although I did get a harness for her during the last downtime to make it easier, but still a partially grown wolf isn't easy to move. With all the dungeon crawls, perhaps another companion would be better.
Sorry to hear about your health problems and stress, but it's good that your absence was only temporary, Halkale.

Okay, the Chronicle sheets have been sent to your emails, I'll submit the session information to the Gameday organizer once I work out the boon information with Quiella.
I'll keep this thread active until then, but otherwise we'll be returning to the main thread for the next scenario which will be 4-13 Fortress of the Nail. Everyone should be level 5 now.
With the holidays coming up, I think it's best if we take a hiatus of a couple of weeks, so we'll start the next scenario on Monday December 28th.
