[PFS] GM Crash's Godsmouth Heresy (Inactive)

Game Master Crashwheeler

Since this is my first time GMing, I'll host one that I am somewhat familiar with. Please bear with me.

Deep below the anarchic city of Kaer Maga, someone—or some thing—has begun stealing corpses from the city’s most prestigious tomb, the Godsmouth Ossuary. Fearing the worst, the clerics of Pharasma in charge of maintaining the crypts quietly call for aid, not wanting to risk their own members in combating whatever horrors may have crept in from the tunnels and hidden chambers of the legendary Undercity. Yet when the PCs venture below the closed-off sections of the crypt, what they find may be more than they bargained for. For beneath the infamous crypt lies a temple from an ancient empire devoted to sin, and a former Pharasmin cleric who’s weathered his goddess’s wrath to create an army of undead minions, their dead flesh standing ready to support his heretical plans.

Requirements
*A level 1 or 2 PFS character.
*Posting at least once or twice a day (once or twice on the weekends if needed)
*A character sheet that I can review.

Sovereign Court

I'd love to play. In fact, this exact module sounds perfect for this cleric of Pharasma (who I'm posting as) - he desires to go on a pilgrimage to the Godsmouth Cathedral. :)

This is a character concept I've played and fleshed out already, but I've only recently adapted him to PFS. I just need to settle his starting gear, but I should be completed before we begin.

FYI Grigori, in PFS you cannot have drawbacks and the only way you can have more than two traits is if you take the Additional Traits feat.

Sounds like fun! I might develop a Paladin for this campaign. When are you thinking of starting?

Sovereign Court

Ah okay, no problem. I'll take that out then.

We can start as soon as we get enough players.

Grand Lodge

Just waiting to get my chronicle sheet for "The Confirmation" - But still level one for sure.

Elven wizard keen to explore Kaer Maga here.

Cool. So far it looks like we have

Grigori Yefimovich-Cleric/1
Simmons Harmon-Paladin/1
Valandil Anwamanë-Wizard/1

Still need a melee fighter and a rogue-type character and possibly one more character. I might even create another table if there is enough interest.

Sovereign Court

I could be tempted to throw-together a Tiefling beat-stick for this scenario :-)

Would a Ranger be acceptable as a 'Rogue' substitute?

As long as it has Disable Device.

...and a dash of perception :)

Then that would be fine. We have 5 characters now. I just need to see the profiles for Simmons, Luke, and Shifty and we should be able to start. Unless a sixth person pops up before we get delving. :)

Sovereign Court

*Waves at Shifty*

I might have something ready by tomorrow. Just fair warning, my paladin is going to be very bashy-smashy with his stats, in case we have a barbarian or other melee oriented fighter...

@Simmons: It looks like Luke is probably going to but it also probably wouldn't hurt to have a second fighter...or healer for that matter.

Could a Half-Elf Monk drop in here?

Sure brent, you can be number 6.

Liberty's Edge

Grimor is on standby for any slot that may open up before the game starts.

Dark Archive

<-Shifty

Sczarni

Add me (lvl 1 rogue) as an alternate?

Sovereign Court

Okay, Grigori is set. I'm ready.

So for party we have
Grigori-Cleric/1------Rdy!
Simmons-Paladin/1
Valandil-Wizard/1------Rdy!
Luke-Fighter?/1
Pitbull-Ranger/1------Rdy!
brent-Monk/1
Alternates
1: Grimor-Monk/1 BTW Magical Talent is not a legal trait in PFS
2: Dexter-Rogue(Spy)/1

If we get four more, I will make a second table and I will try to balance both tables evenly.

Alright, here is Luke_Parry's PC.

Please note that whilst he is technically a cleric, he is *not* a healer (he has zero channels per day).

ohhhh, pity I read this one too late! Don't think 3 people will drop out from it...

@Diego: Probably not, but hang in there, if 3 more show interest I'll make another table...but two tables are my max.

Silver Crusade

Simmons' Paladin,Burick Bronsworth: the Hammer of Justice, is here!

ok, then I will be taking a spot as a human wizard for a possible second table :)

Hi Crash, I have a lvl 1 control/utility wizard or lvl 1 rogue for this adventure up for grabs :).

But can play whatever else is needed thanks to retraining rules.

Here is my Half-Elf Monk. Will do some minor edit and he should be fine.

@Jolly:With the way it is looking, your rogue will probably be needed.

I'll wait a few more hours to see if we get two more and then I'll open up the discussion and gameplay tabs for the table (s). If we have to, we can play five to a table with who we have now.

The Exchange

(Jolly here) No problem, I'll enjoy giving him a whirl.
I'll make sure his stats etc are ready.

EDIT: All set for the run.

I can play a cleric if needed to...

Silver Crusade

I'd like a spot at the second table. Dwarf cleric of Irori.

The Exchange

If I could drop in, count on me, Nesterok, bard "fighter"

I could post twice a day, but I'm in Europe.

Grand Lodge

Diego here, Portia is ready :)

So, the way it looks is
Table Alpha
Grigori Yefimovich-Cleric/1
Burick Bronsworth-Paladin/1
Valandil Anwamanë-Wizard/1
Pitbull-Ranger/1
Zanafer Silverkin-Monk/1
Garox Fang-Rogue/1

Table Beta
Grimor Hazd-Monk/1
Nesterok-Bard/1
Dexter Gladstone-Rogue/1
Jean-Pierre de Suis-Cleric/1
Pontia Imperea-Wizard/1
Marsk-Cleric/1

I tried to separate you guys evenly, but if you have a better idea, go ahead and speak up. Then go ahead and click on the link for your table when your character is ready. :)

Grand Lodge

Currently table 1 has a single healer and table2 has three. Table1 has two full BAB characters, and table2 none (not such a biggie at level 1 I grant you).

I suggest swapping the table1 ranger or paladin with a table2 cleric or bard. Table 2 gets a full BAB character (and better hp), table 1 gets slighly improved healing.

As previously mentioned, Jean-Pierre is not a healer (he has no channels), but I do grant you, even without him, table 2 does have two healers to table 1's one, but that is made up for by the lack of full BAB.

Then Nesterok should be on Alpha, switching places with Burick?

Grand Lodge

I think that makes things a little better, yes.

Probably not essential, but helpful.

Silver Crusade

Well, I get the healing at level 2...but should I still switch?

No, because you will be lvl 2 when the scenario is done.
Edit: For some reason, I thought you were Pitbull. You are being switched because you have full BAB and Nesterok does not.

Silver Crusade

Alright, dotted the other discussion. Nesterok, switch up!

Alright. Well since we officially have the discussion threads up and the twelve PCs are dotting I will make this official as well.
