Just a note, I am heading out of town unexpectedly tomorrow through next Friday. I should be able to still post at least once a day, but there is the potential for me to miss one or two days. Bear with me, I'll do my best to keep up with things while I'm out of town with limited access to internet.

On a related note, I will be away Sunday through Wednesday, and in all likelihood without computer access the entire time. So I'll be jumping back in Thursday of next week - feel free to bot me as needed.

Back from my travel and into a normal routine so I'll be able to check/post frequently one again. Over the last 48 hours was in 6 states :P

Just a reminder about 60 days to go before First Steps 2/3 are discontinued. We'll be cutting it close, but I'm hopeful we can get it finished.

One really helpful approach to getting Dynamic lighting to work right is for the GM to create a Dummy Account that is a player. The Dummy Account can verify that everything looks right form the players' perspective.

I've run three PFS adventures via Roll20 over the past few weeks. Dynamic Lighting is a nice feature, but does require a bit of practice to get right. It worked REALLY WELL for the The Night March of Kalkamades. Other times it's not so useful, but it's awesome in a dungeon.

What do you all think of setting up a marching order? With Roll20, it's very easy to move PCs into places that are a bit dangerous for them - like when the summoner or wizard ends up at the front of melee.

How about something like this:

Ozi (if summoned)
Terrill
Polami
Grisbane
Magda
Omar

Melee up front, summoner in the middle, folks in back with decent AC if we get jumped from behind, and still able to use their ranged/magic. Not sure if this lets Magda do much with her glaive...

I'm not wedded to this order, but thought it was worth discussing. Terrill will happily go in front if Ozi doesn't.

I'm fine with that, or Ozi and Terrill side by side when possible. I don't get any bonuses yet to being adjacent to Ozi so I'm not married to keeping him right at my side.

That sounds like a fine marching order. This incarnation of Magda is all caster. marching order is good, will help us tactically, and will speed things up.

Yes, please. I'd like Dak to play Magda for the 3 days I'm gone. While I am absent Magda will stay adjacent to Grisbane except when Grisbane does not wish her adjacent. She will keep a sharp watch out for trouble behind and on our flanks, and will call out anything she sees.

In the event of combat Magda will take a support role. First action in what looks to be a big fight she'll cast Bless. She will try to get clear ranged Firebolt shots (+2 ranged touch attack for a measly 1d6+1) then stay back out of the fight. If she gets an opportunity to target 3 or more foes at once with a 2d4 Burning Hands she will do so. One fearsome weapon-armed foe will get a 2d4 Burning Disarm. That's about it, besides channeling to heal (4 left today for 1d6) us all in the event we take AOE damage, and channeling to harm any undead we encounter.

Magda is willing to use a few of her CLW wand charges to keep us moving along, but will point out that if we've taken a beating we might consider retreating to rest.

Please, 'bot' me for 3 days, starting Thursday evening.

Sorry all, craziness again. I've been in 4 states over the last week... I'm hoping to have everything finally worked out this weekend...

Going on holidays from Tuesday on until August 5th. I will try to post, but it will be sporadic, as I only have at some spots internet access, so posting with breaks. Just NPC Omar when necessary. Would like to be part of FS3, if you continue, but as said, for some time, just sporadic posting.

@GM Dak - I think I may opt out of FS3, as there's an opening in a God's Market Gamble PbP that I'd really like to play in. FS2 was a lot of fun with this revised group, though! It seems we're pretty much done, right? When do you think you'll be able to do Chronicle sheets?

Also - I looked for you at PaizoCon, but didn't know your real name (didn't think to look at the FS1 Chronicle sheet until a minute ago...) I shouted "Dak" at a couple of the tables for games you said you might be at, must have hit the wrong ones. Maybe next year...

With the exception of wrap up and the turn in of the trade documents, which can probably be handled OOC, we should be good to go.

As far as PaizoCon, sadly I had to cancel the trip the day before due to some family medical stuff. I *should* still be at GenCon, though my schedule has changed some.

I'm going to do a new recruitment thread for Part 3 today/tomorrow so anyone still active and wanting to continue will need to post there. Keep in mind there is only about a month for us to finish up Part 3 so please only apply if you can post very regularly.

Chronicle sheets are up here. If you see anything out of order please let me know. Also, keep in mind you will need to fill out pertinent data such as item's bought, sold, starting GP, Prestige, XP. Your player name if you want. The form should auto caluclate all the GP stuff. Obviously if you sell/buy something for silver or copper 1 silver would be .1, 1 copper would be .01. Let me know if you have any questions.
