Now in close range, Adrianna executes a series of kicks, punches, and blocks at the creature, flowing from one move to another a graceful dance of deadly intent.

Mogall sends another magic missile from his wand at the Archivist.

wand MM: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Mumbly moves in while Adrianna keeps smashing the archivist, letting it feel the full brunt of her fury. Mogall adds to the destruction by sending in a missile of force, shattering several crystals.

Anaristiel swings again at the crystalline creature.

Anail and Anaristiel stab the eight-armed creature with rapier and glaive,and with a shower of sparkles, the crystal shatters.

Combat over!

The Archivist’s body fades away, and a simple wooden door appears at the edge of the void. The door opens with a touch and offers a view of the seance circle back in the material world.

As the adventurers steps through the circle, they find themselves opening their eyes in the position that they left their world: sitting in the seance circle, holding hands.

Wulessa Yuul opens her eyes as well. I'm sorry my friends, for the mistake I made. What a poor judgement call that was! Clearly, this scroll required further research, but for now, it is too early, too dangerous. If not for your help, I would have been trapped in there!

Congratulations, you've escaped from the Mindscape, and managed to save your VC in the progress. I'll report and put up chronicles for the first game in S7!
