[PFS_CORE_Aerondor] 00-02 The Hydra's Fang Incident (Inactive)

I'm looking for up to five Core Characters to play in the season 0 scenario "The Hydra Fang Incident". Levels one to five, we can work out whether to go low or high tier when we see what characters are interested.

This is a CORE game. If you are making a new character please note the limits and don't be surprised when you cannot play your Aasimar Gunslinger.

I'll close recruitment when I get five characters. Why only five? Season 0 scenarios are a bit easier as they are based on 3.5 rules - a table of six, even Core, Pathfinder characters may find this a little on the easy side.

I've got this archer cleric, who will work well with a barbarian.

Can you confirm that Community is really Core? I thought it was from the APG.

Top-Level domains of core deities I think are all core. Subdomains, not so much. Community is definitely in the CRB, though.

Yes, I checked--it's Core. :). Her original build with Variant Channelling, not so much!

How about a Level 1 dwarven druid?

I would be interested in playing a character in this, perhaps a bard?

I will bring a sorcerer or a fighter, depending on party need.

In retrospect I'd like to do a dragonblooded sorcerer.

I'm guessing "AMBARBARIAN" didn't register properly as "Registering interest with a core barbarian character." If there's still room whenever, I'm in. Sheet is cooked up already. One XP (Devil We Know Part I). 2 Prestige earned, 2 spent.

Ahh sorry. I just thought you were commenting on another submission and not putting in your own. My bad. I'll risk going to six if all characters are in by start of tomorrow.

Correction: Down a cleric but up a wizard. I realized looking over warhorn that I'm double booked with Karovna barring clearing this scenario ridiculously quickly.

I hope Nerdy does show up, as I find it worrying that the Halfling sorcerer has the best BAB in the party! And probably the most hp.
On the plus side, you have Gregor's pet as a tank.. hopefully.

Also a note to folk, if you can put your basic stats in your character bar
(class, level, AC, hp, saves, perception, sense motive) that would be handy for helping me in combat and similar situations.

Non intuitively this is the stuff under class/level on your paizo character sheet summary. Most of you have done this but a couple are still lacking. If Gregor could also include AC, HP and such for his pet that would be very helpful. Often that works best in a spoiler button to keep the pet numbers separate.

I don't have a lot invested in this character to the point that I need to play him ricky-tick. If we want something or another just for the sake of rounding out the party, I'm game for building and playing it.

PFS, especially at low levels, should be more or less doable by any group. This one is just a little squisher than more. If you don't go looking too much for trouble, in theory you should be okay. In theory.

Anyway, I'll give nerdy until tomorrow morning my time and then start.

Hmm, thinking about it, there may be some extra time as my spouse has a birthday tomorrow. Might not be popular if I'm gaming rather than paying attention to them. We'll see what time I wake and when they do.

Yup, yup. Ironcalw's a bear. All black and brown and covered with hair! And I'll get the mini-stats up as soon as I have a moment. Likely during my lunch break.

Wow! Can I play with a pregen?

Sorry, no.

Pregen play is only available if you don't have a character in the appropriate level range.

The level range is 1, so there is no justification for a pre-gen.

About the only situation that pregens can't be used so far as I am aware.

It doens't take long to make one, and you can clone a pre-gen if you want, just make sure you have a PFS number
