The elemental has stopped the whirlwind and is just slamming now.

In that case, Garn would take his move action after attacking the glass creature.

After smashing the glass creature to pieces, Garn squeezes himself out of the door and moves towards the air elemental. He gestures for Snowball to do the same.

Snowball and Garn bash at the glass creature and it shattered into pieces.

Jarlaxle heads out to help with the elemental.

Finn hits the elemental hard, causing it to dissipate some. Again, he feels his attacks do not do full damage.

Malakiah hits it with a Magic Missile while the spider tries to entangle the elemental.

The spider's web wraps around the elemental, causing the elemental to struggle.

Garn and Snowball head up. Garn misses the elemental, and Snowball finds that the elemental has reach. Forgot to do it before heh.

Malakiah hits the creature with a Magic Missile and sends the spider up to attack. unfortunately, it has to come within range of the elemental to do so. And it has Combat Reflexes...

Assuming that Finn is doing a withdraw while raging then dropping out of rage, as withdrawing before rage ends would cause him to go unconscious as per the disabled condition. ;)

Jarlaxle gives a sigh of relief.

"Well, I am glad it is over - that was a decidedly unpleasant beast!"

He then sets about searching the area.


There's some searching to do, but as you have eliminated all the threats in the cathedral, at this point you search around and see no more immediate threats, and the lodge can return back to normal.

Brackett thanks you for rescuing him. He also reveals that the Sapphire Sage Amenopheus is in town and has been undercover tracking a Shadow Lodge agent. He says that he thinks the wizard may be in great danger and that he might have been uncovered by the Shadow Lodge agent he was tracking, the Spider. Brackett suspects the spider is none other than Dorianna Ouidda, a prominent member of the People's Council here in Almas (which is the governing force of Andoran).

He suggests that you also muffle the sound of the belfry, as Brackett learned of the hobgoblin's plan to invade at night when the belfry strikes. It's actually a trap that can be set off and then they all know you are coming, but you bypassed it by going into the tower. It deafens you for a while on a failed fort save, but at this point that is trivial.

You actually can fail this mission outright by resting, as when sunset comes, the leader hobgoblin rings the bell and the hobgoblin invasion starts.

That's pretty much it. Will try to get chronicles out tomorrow night and get the thread set up for Part 2! :)
