Tophor just got back into town, and he's got his little girl's 1-year birthday today, so i'll post for him. I believe he should still have Barkskin running. It's 10 minutes/level, and he casts it at 4th level.

Sorry, been a long day flying to a full day workshop. Up before 6am and not back in town until 8pm. gahhh

I start feeling pity for the Aspis agents, they always receive terrible beatings without much word in between :')
GM Aerondor |
And you guys did well in the prep stuff, which caused a number of them to die, spells to run out and loss of hp and gaining bad conditions.
Things like not kiling the kobolds or tripping their traps; not killing stinkeye, and getting enough of the guardians murals right to have his aid really makes this last battle much easier. And the dice roller helps too.

I do love me some skill monkey and brainiac characters--and it's awesome that this adventure rewards that kind of stuff, in addition to ethical activity. Within the Pathfinder millieu, of course. :D

I'll try to get chronicles out over the weekend.
I just checked back to part one, and we began this epic back in February. Wow, that is more than three quarters of the year.
And we even still have four of the original characters.
Well done all. I'll do the closing wrap up in gamethread after you have had a chance to ask any final questions and get any backstory you want. The guardian can fill you in on a lot, but you probably got most of it from his monologue anyway.
Xien |
Thanks for running this for us Aerondor ^_^
I think it worked good for the party the idea to replace Eldon with Xien. Even if the nagaji is even more stupid and reckless, it seemed to complement better the team.
I do want to remember also Xien is progressing in slow mode.
Would this success qualify for?
Disrupt or sabotage a significant Aspis Consortium operation, such as by ruining an alliance, damaging its reputation in a large city, or preventing them from recovering an artifact.
Did we got a fragment of the Sky key?
GM Aerondor |
Yes it does qualify. And yes you did.
You guys missed on on some of the more ..interesting... boons available. So even thought you didn't actually find Sharrowsmiths sword, I'll leave it on the chronicle as you kind of made friends with the kobolds. I'm not sure it would actually be of interest to anyway, but it is special and if you are thinking of playing a character with a want for revenge against the Aspis, it has some handy powers.
GM Aerondor |
Almost forgot the boon rolls:
Selena: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Jal: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Xien: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Tophor: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
Shungur: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 18
And once again, no luck. My boon rolling has been pretty shocking. Goes with the rest of the Aspis rolls I guess, but with the number of "1"s they were getting you'd think I'd manage one for the boons.
GM Aerondor |
Chronicles have been uploaded, and game reported. Let me know any corrections you need making. I'll try to get a closing post in tomorrow with the wrap up.
GM Aerondor |
Conclusion posted. If you have any unanswered questions, fire away either IC or here if you just are curious about how or why something happened in the scenario (or the previous ones for that matter).

Aerondor, I'm making a big purchase at the end of this chronicle. Would you prefer modifying the Chronicle sheet you gave me? Or are you fine with me photoshopping the change in?
(It's basically just selling his mwk chain shirt [+125g] and buying a +1 Agile Mithral Breastplate [-5,400g])
