Everyone good with playing the Tier 1-2?

Well I just reread the new rules. It looks like you don't get a choice any longer. Its tier 1-2 for sure.

Hmm ... I've got to work out this whole lying thing ... like, is an incomplete truth a lie? This pali is a little less straight-and-narrow than some and I actually gave him bluff.

Tier 1-2 is fine with me.

It's all about how you present the information. If you fail to mention someone or don't give them the whole truth, then it's just a lie of omission. For example, you could tell this guy that there are 5 crew and 6 merchants on this ship, if they discover the "stowaways", they'll be below decks where we'll have the advantage. The whole morality of a paladin is a complex issue, sufficient to say, there's probably a god/oath combination you could slap together that allows you to be a crooked from the normal straight arrow.

So any reason we haven't gotten any updates since Friday?

Meh ... things come up ... it is a cliffhanger though! I really wish there could be notifications of updates straight from the site (just when there has been a change since my last view, not for every change.) I haven't found a feedreader that notifies me of updates in a useful way.

A note on procedures

During a combat, please check the Initiative Order. This is usually at the bottom of the post. PC's will have their names in bold. That indicates the active PC who need to post a turn. I personally don't care which order PC's go. Player A may go first in one round while player B in the next. That is ok. At a face to face table that would end up with a delay action with those two players switching spots in the order. As long as you are going before the NPC there is no real difference.

What does matter is people posting extra turns in one combat round. Please only post once per round. It is acceptable that if you will unavailable for a day or so to post your turn or a series of turns. Please do that in the spoiler tags to help avoid confusion.

I will summarize a players turn with narrative. If your turn isn't summarized then one of two things have happened: (1) I made a mistake, please post using a Spoiler tag labeled "GM" or send me a PM. I'll correct the mistake. (2) You made a mistake. Its cool it happens, but I'll just ignore the action and move on (much like at a real table).

Right now we are on round two of a combat and some players have issued way more than two actions. It just makes the combats too confusing.
Play by post games take a long time. I usually run a typical scenario at a pace of about three months. Don't worry, we will get through it. The number one goal is to have fun! :)

I promise you, I've posted one action per one of your posts. Anything extra has been /ooc which should probably be in the discussion tab instead, for that I apologize.

My PFS number is 76446-5. As for playing wardstone patrol, I can't play it with any character right now (my only lvl5 is playing Blakros matrimony at the moment). I'd be interested in another low level scenario though!

Since this is Season 5 and the reporting is somewhat different, let me take a moment and explain how it works.
First it makes a different who you primarily sided with- Captain Passad or the dwarf Metella. You sided with Passad.

Primary Success Condition: you liberated one or more captives. +1 Prestige Point
Secondary Success Condition: You must meet at least two of the following criteria- prevent the cleric from escaping; recovering the box of hair/blood from the prison; convincing the sisters of your cover story. You got two of the three, +1 Prestige Point

Faction Notes. Not all factions have a story. In this scenario only Osirion, Grand Lodge, and Qadira had stories.
Grand Lodge- complete both primary and secondary success to earn Crisis Averted.
Osirion- discover that the Diamond Sage was last seen in Azir (this was a roleplay moment, easy to miss). Diamond Trade Boon.
Qadira- Deciding who's trade was more important, the Captain or Metella to earn the Expanding the Trade Network Boon.
