As the society returns to Azlant Ridge in the new season, I thought I'd offer parts I and II of the Before The Dawn series from Season 2, that originally introduced the site.

Note: I'd strongly prefer that the same party, or most of the same party, play both scenarios, as they are closely linked and one follows on immediately from the other. If you are able to, please sign up to both recruitment threads. If this is not possible then we'll manage things.

These scenarios are being offered as part of PBP GameDay V, and so will begin on 27th August

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-01: Before the Dawn—Part I: The Bloodcove Disguise.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

You are sent to Aspis Consortium-infested Bloodcove to gather supplies for a nearly doomed Pathfinder mission nearby. Disguised as ordinary merchants, you have little time to gather what you need and get out before the Consortium discovers and destroys you.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-02: Before the Dawn—Part II: Rescue at Azlant Ridge

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

With supplies in hand, you rush from Bloodcove to the Pathfinder expedition site at Azlant Ridge only to find it under siege. You must brave the newly discovered halls beneath the ridge in order to find the key that might save everyone.

I'd like to play in this, however I'm not sure if my tier 3-4 character will be available. Since there is plenty of time before then I'd wager on yes, but here's my character list:

Tier 1-2: Warpriest 2
Tier 3-4: Psychic 3 (In a game at the moment)
Tier 6-7: Rogue 1/Gunslinger 6 or Slayer 6

My preferred character would be the Rogue/Gunslinger, but since you seem to be looking for T3-4 I'd be happy to play my psychic assuming he's free. I'd also play to play in both parts with the same character.

Would love to see the sights at Bloodcove!

If you do a tier 1-2 game, I would love to join. I'm still creating my first characters after only playing pregens. I would love to join both parts if possible.

Level 3 Investigator that would be interested in doing both parts.

I believe my low-level characters will be occupied towards the beginning of game day due to a local convention, so I'm going to withdraw from this table.

I've already played the second scenario with a character that is currently ineligible and I'd like to backtrack with a character that is.

No, she's not as another character already played it unfortunately. I'll understand if you give the slot to someone else that can.

I'd be interested in playing both parts. Level 4 paladin.

He's on the final room in #4-02: Wraith's Shadow... already killed the BBEG, just clearing the other rooms to complete the scenario. Should be done this weekend, so 8/27 should be no problem.

Look like we need some muscle on board. I therefore submit Huntress Jazmine and her pal Giggles the Velociraptor!

Yes, Kitoro is in - playing both parts is a 'nice to have', not a 'must'.

OK, excellent, that means that we have one seat left for 'Bloodcove Disguise' and two left for 'Rescue at Azlant Ridge' - please spread the word.

We will start Bloodcove Disguise on Saturday, and go on to Azlant Ridge once we have completed the first part.

Please do the following:
1) Make sure that your character's stat block is up to date.
2) Send me the following by private message:
- Your name as you want it to appear on the chronicle
- Your character's name as you want it to appear on the chronicle
- Your character's PFS number
- Your character's faction
- Your last chronicle number
- Your starting XP
- Your starting gold
- Your staring Fame and Prestige
- If you want to make a Day Job roll after the adventure, tell me what it is, and roll here or note that you're taking 10
3) If you are going to want to invoke a reroll at any point because you have a tshirt/pin/folio etc let me know..
4) I'm about to create the Gameplay thread. Please put a post there to 'dot' it, so that it shows up in your My Campaigns tab.

Absolutely. Pick your pre-gen.

OK, so the first part is now FULL, with everyone except Kitoro playing the second part too. This means we still have one slot for part II.

Please follow the steps above, so that we can get started quickly. Note that I am still waiting to officially receive the scenario from PFS HQ, but I have someone who can unofficially share me a copy, so we can at least get started.

Dayjob roll: Survival: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

I spent 2pp to earn the Hunters Lodge vanity, allowing survival as a day job roll

Day Job: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 - Perform Comedy

Rats. Missed by one.

Is there any gear she could buy that would boost a day job roll in perform? Definitely worth it if something exists. And if it does Kit would have bought it before the roll.

Not really.. only items that would normally confer a bonus to the skill itself. IE: someone rolling a day job of healing and adding in the bonus from a healers kit. At least that's my understanding.

Not for comedy/oratory etc that I know of. For music there is a masterwork instrument, which gives +2 circumstance bonus.

Kitoro want's one! Add it to the list of purchases at the end of the scenario. 10 pounds though. I don't think she will be lugging them about during the mission.

She will also pick up a Cracked Magenta Prism Ioun stone (800 gp) at the beginning of the adventure and have it set for perform comedy during the adventure and for day jobs.

I am waiting for Leepo and Borax to confirm they are still with us. If not, I have someone on a waiting list.
