Aid Tokens:

During the event, it is possible for characters at one table to assist those at another with Aid Tokens. Each represents the assistance of allied Pathfinder agents who assist the PCs.
Once per encounter, any character at a table can use an Aid Token to assist the group in one of the ways described below. Once a table uses an Aid Token, one of the players then passes the Aid Token to a neighboring table for them to use. A table can only benefit from one token per encounter. Because there are a limited number of Aid Tokens, hoarding one means that somebody else doesn’t get to use it.

If a table receives an Aid Token and doesn’t need its benefits, they’re encouraged to boost its potency by expending some of their own resources or attempting a skill check. Boosting an Aid Token, including attempting a skill check, is part of passing that Aid Token to another table. A table can neither retry such a skill check nor boost an Aid Token more than once before passing it to another table. A table may boost a token even while in combat without taking any in-round actions; the scenario assumes the aid was granted before that encounter began. Using a boosted effect consumes the boost.

Some Aid Token benefits may only be used if already boosted by another table. An Aid Token’s benefits vary based on the table’s subtier, and these benefits can take one of the following forms:

Allied Offensive: A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 1d8 points. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn. To Boost: Succeed at an attack roll against an AC equal to an Average skill check. Boosted Effect: +1d8 points of damage.

Burst of Healing: A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of 1d6 points of damage. To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your APL/2, rounded up. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll. Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.

Timely Inspiration: A Pathfinder agent provides the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. In Subtiers 1–2 and 3–4, the competence bonus is +1. To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability. Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.

Provide Knowledge (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item; the type and difficulty (Easy, Average or Hard) depend on the table granting the benefit. To Boost: Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice, the result of the check (Easy, Average or Hard) should be noted on the Aid Token.

Provide Spellcasting (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token. To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.

Fey Allies:

All PCs and companion creatures gain a single-use benefit they can use during Part 4. As a free action on its turn, a creature can use its benefit to gain either DR/1 or cold resistance 3 until the end of that encounter. Each PC and companion creature can select a different benefit.

Dortlin's words have a galvanizing effect as Medda slams her hand down on the table. "Yes! I...no, WE must persevere! By the will of the gods and our own mettle we've made it this far despite all the odds; our journey and our struggle is nearly at an end and I must see it to its conclusion, whatever it may be!"

Eyes shining, Medda holds her head high. "I vote to stand and fight!"

Dortlin earns an Influence Success with Medda! That's 2/2 achieved!

Kragr watches as Medda stands proud and makes her proclamation and then turns to regard Skye, his eyes boring into the shaman's. For a long moment, Kragr is silent. Then, his lips twitch and a fierce smile slowly creeps across his face. "Hells, I guess I can't let you Pathfinders have all the fun now can I? Very well! I too, vote to stand and fight - to the bitter end, if it comes to that!"

Skye (and Sova!) earn an Influence Success with Kragr! That's 4/4 achieved!

Seeing that Medda and Kragr seemed to have decided to stay, Fung turns to Jala. He finds her intimidating, but nonetheless, he has to try. "I know that we are foreigners to your lands, and I know little of Twinhorns. But in the short time that we have been here, I know that it is a place of beauty. I lived much of my live in large cities, but just as I cherish the times that my master led me into the Kortos hills to find herbs, I would like to do what I can to stop the undeads from ravaging this place. Let's stop them together?"

Season of Ghosts

With the rest of you approaching Jala as a unified collective, the venerable woman has little choice but to hear your words and see the wisdom in them. She stands and looks at the group. "At first I believed that voting to leave these grounds would be the best choice for what remains of the Twinhorn, but now I see that I was mistaken. You have convinced me, wise Pathfinders - I will vote to remain."

Peribras - with some help from the rest of the group - earns an Influence Success with Jala! That's 3/3!

It took equal amounts of quick thinking and careful consideration, but you've managed to rally all three of the Twinhorn council members and convince them to stand and fight against the invading undead forces. As you follow Medda, Kragr, and Jala back outside, a stream of glowing mist winds its way through the trees as the air takes on a sudden chill. Eyes wide, one of the Twinhorn cries out, "More of the creatures approach the camp! What do we do!?"

The three council members look at each and nod, in unison. "We FIGHT!" Kragr bellows. "He speaks the truth! It has been decided, the Twinhorn shall not forsake our charge to Ivvora and to Vildeis!" Medda calls out. "Rally yourselves! We fight and the Pathfinders fight with us! Together we will stop these creatures in their tracks!"

A great cheer goes up among the gathered Twinhorn as you see men and women, young and old, take up weapons and prepare themselves for another onslaught. You ready yourselves as well, unknowing of what the next few minutes might hold in store for you all, but willing to face it without fear.

Another post incoming, please stand by!

Season of Ghosts

The chill that had fallen on the camp grows more and more pronounced, seeping into your very bones despite the warmness of your clothing. As Pathfinder and Twinhorn alike watch, the shadows begin to deepen though the moon shines down upon the camp. All around, the shadows begin to coalesce into vaguely humanoid forms and they flit towards you, intangible fingers reaching out to touch living flesh!

Season of Ghosts

As Sova helpfully sheds some light on the subject and Rallas pulls out a vial of holy water, Dortlin and Clyde rush towards the central foe, the one that Skye has called out as being an exiled shade. When they draw near, Dortlin can see that the shade does indeed appear to be hovering over the ground but that doesn't deter him; bolstered with the strength of the bull he and Clyde strike at the foul shade with all their might. And though both attacks seem to connect, Dortlin's blade only seems to leave a relatively minor tear in the shade's essence and Clyde's bite doesn't appear to affect the shade at all. To the surprise of both, a sudden volley of arrows coming flying through the air as some of the Twinhorn fire upon the shade!

"Stand strong! We are with you!" they cry.

Twinhorn Allies: 3d8 ⇒ (6, 6, 5) = 17

"Myyyyy turrrrrn...." the shade whispers, its voice full of malice as it reaches a shadowy hand out towards Dortlin. Once more the hunter and the brave ape lash out at the shade, but once again Clyde's bite seems to do nothing and Dortlin's blade only succeeds in tearing another small rip into the shade's misty form. The shade's hand passes through Dortlin's armor and brushes against his skin, filling him with a surge of anger and resentment.

"I don't like undead. Anyone able to give Clyde some magic damage? Or just blast this thing, That works too."

Dortlin will attack orange again first triggering broken wing gambit.

Nodachi: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
slashing/piercing/cold iron/ magic dmg: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Clyde will attempt to attack using broken wing gambit. It has no effect other then possibly creating an opening for Dortlin to attack.

If orange attacks Dortlin or Clyde:

Nodachi aoo: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (10) + 19 = 29
slashing/piercing/cold iron/ magic dmg: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
And +2 to hit and dmg on it's first attack.

Season of Ghosts

Dortlin again swings his nodachi at the shade and again rips another tear in its shadowy essence, but the shade does not dissipate like its lesser companion did moments earlier. Clyde too continues to flail at the shade, his teeth doing no damage but perhaps serving to provide another opening for Dortlin to strike...

Darkpaw rips at the shadow in front of her with sharp teeth as another volley of arrows comes from the Twinhorn archers, leaving massive tears in the undead creature's wispy form - but the shadow fights on, if barely!

Deciding to take a risk, Skye conjures a magical charge for Sova to hold and then the owl takes flight into the air. Hoping that the shade won't notice her what with having Dortlin, Clyde, and Vanya up in its business, she swoops down and brushes her talon against the shade. Surprised by the sudden and sharp surge of positive energy, the shadow howls with shock and anger!

Twinhorn Allies: 3d8 ⇒ (5, 5, 1) = 11

More arrows are launched as Sova wheels away from the shade, leaving the shade in considerably worse straits than before. Its essence hangs in tatters and it seems likely that there's not much left to keep it anchored to this world.
