Smith says, "I totally concur, we just need to be careful of Soviet or DPRAA troops and crossing the border. Once we get going, I will speak with the women and see if they know anything."
As Willy Nelson would say, On the road again, Smith says to the ladies, "Дамы, мы приносим извинения за плохое обращение, но мой Родезийский SAS кодекс чести не позволяет прекрасных дам, как и сами быть обманутым недобросовестными людьми или лучше сказать, ваш муж врут недобросовестными людьми. Мы надеемся, что вы комфортно там, и мы будет приносить вам в безопасное место в ближайшее время. Кстати, вы случайно не знаете, почему это странно вообще хотели бы, чтобы ваш муж убил, и вы облавы, скорее всего, для ГУЛАГа?"

The woman and her daughter merely shake their heads. If they know anything, they aren't saying or are just too scared to. At the moment, though, Smith's words seem to placate them and they somewhat relax. That's when the woman mutters out. "Tthh...thank..ya.. you.." in very broken English.
If you guys want to play out crossing the border as a sub-mission, we can do that, otherwise we're free to move to the next step which is either you plan a mission or Home gives you one...

Johnny "Razor" Macomb |

Well I think we need to get this folks to safety. Then I think I want to swing back around the warehouse that Majors directed me to. There might be something left at the scene to let us know what was up. I also think we need to report Majors betrayal to Control post haste.

Elise Carter |

Elise works on patching up Smith first, then moving onto Mac before checking her own wounds
Smith: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
Mac: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30
Carter: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
I don't think anyone took wounds so - if it's just Vitality you're down it should restore 6 each. If anyone is down Wounds it's D4+1 restored.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

There are other options so that Elise can come with. You can attempt to arrange for pick up for the two refugees or at least a guard until you can get back to HQ...

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Normally you would have to roll Networking/Contact to attempt to get a hold of your Contact to arrange pickup, but for the sake of gameplay, I'll allow it to happen.. this time. I also noticed that none of you have a contact listed other than Natalie Burns... everyone should have started with one Acquaintence level Contact for free. We never used them, so it never came up, but there you go. You guys are free to add one to your characters. Or... if you wish, you can upgrade your connection to Natalie to Associate.
Response Time: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
Smith gets on the radio and eventually gets a hold of Natalie Burns, their behind the scenes handler. She arranges for a local team of agents to pick up the woman and her daughter and return them to your temporary HQ in Pakistan. Their ETA to you is 7 hours. You have that much time to prepare for your assault on the warehouse...

Johnny "Razor" Macomb |

Razor takes a moment to procure a local roadmap from a convenience store and traces out both the route that Majors forced him to drive and in a different color the most direct route from their current location to the warehouse he left Majors.
Do you need a roll for the above?

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Knowledge Check DC 20 with an additional +2 for getting the map first and Synergy Bonus from Drive. Both Elise and Smith can assist if they wish.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Mac and Smith pour over the map, each one adding his expertise while Elise looks on. While Smith's forte is more with trees than streets, he does offer some insight. While drawing on the map, they notice that besides the roads, there is also a sewer line entrance marked about 100 yards to the north of the warehouse. Mac guesses that this line will lead directly under the warehouses with openings to the pavement surrounding them. This shortcut could save some time on foot, or be used for other things.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

So it looks like the plan is for Infiltration via sewers.. an other prep we want to make or go in guns blazing?

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Later on that evening, Smith makes his way to the warehouse complex, through the sewers and find himself on an outcropping that overlooks part of the area, just off the main road.
Make a Sneak/Hide check and then a Search/Perception check please..

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Are Elise and Mac staying back and waiting for Smith's report? Also, since Smith is actively using his sense to recon, it is a Search/Perception roll, so the total is only 15..
Guards Notice/Awareness, Cluttered, Quiet: 1d20 + 3 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 4 - 2 = -1
Not expecting any sort of activity, the guards watching over the warehouses are busy playing card games, smoking a cigarette or actually sleeping when Smith makes his way around, counting approximately ten in all. He gets close enough to hear that they are speaking accented English to each other, though he can't seem to place the accent other than Eastern European. They are wearing light armor under jackets and carrying submachineguns. Four patrol the perimeter in two-man groups and the other six mill about the two warehouses.

Timothy K Smith |

Smith back with the group says in a whisper, "We could probably do this very quietly and maybe get Majors without firing a shot. It is weird that they were speaking English with one another even though they are Eastern European. I would think they would be speaking German or Russian."

Johnny "Razor" Macomb |

I did mention to Majors that I didn't understand why he wanted to kill the women. He said he had other plans for them but didn't explain. We need to ask some questions of Majors or someone else there. We need answers. Somehow I think this all goes back to that cave.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

OKay, so the decision is made.. do you have a plan or are we winging it? I.E.. roll for Infiltration or simply stealth or straight up assault...

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Hey look, I made a Map You guys are in the area marked S, for Sewer Entrance or Start, as you see fit.. Place yourselves somewhere near there...

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Is Elise and Mac still with us? Want to see what their plans are as well for assaulting the warehouse...
