            You like your work then.
I do, but that's not why I stayed all day... Unexpectedly busy day... And two guys didn't show up. ¬¬'
Turns out I was able to get the pdf and read it on my phone. Holy jeebers casters get so much love by comparison.
Just Paizo being Paizo, as usual...

In general terms, do you liked the book or not?
Well its power creep plain and true and casters get the better deal of it while martials get stuff like...
Prerequisites: Dex 15, Acrobatic or Slayer level 1, Combat Expertise, Acrobatics rank 1
Benefit: You can use Acrobatics instead of Bluff to feint in combat.
But the book also has good stuff for the more balanced classes like the Inquisitor. So overall yeah I like it, but martials seem to get kicked in the teeth way too much.

Is it cool if I update Cyrus after this encounter?
Nah! You now have to use the Adept spell list and progression. :D
On a separate note... I probably won't be able to post 'til tomorrow afternoon/night, so you guys will have to bear another day without my delightful posts.
I know it's difficult, but I'm sure you can do it. ;)

Gotcha. Cyrus commits suicide and we're joined by his twin brother Psyrus who uses the Shaman list but everything else is the same.
=P

You misunderstand me. By "you" I mean Scavion, not Brother Cyrus.

OH! That'll go well next to my stunning good looks class feature. Thanks for granting me spell casting.
EDIT: Also IM FINALLY HOME. Sweet sweet big screen computer and fast internet!

I just checked my friend's .pdf of the ACG...
I'm not even disappointed, since I expected the book to be rushed and poorly balanced from the start. Hunter ended up more interesting than I expected, but still not interesting enough for me to playing one anytime soon.
The Swashbuckler is... even more disappointing than I thought it'd be. Did they listen to any feedback? Like, at all?
Ah look at that! Arcanist was made even more broken. And they added Exploiter Wizard too! Good one, Paizo! I only expected nothing good coming from your view on game balance, and yet, somehow, you still managed to disappoint me.
Tsc... Is there any way I can just buy the Bloorager, Investigator and Slayer material in this book. ¬¬'

            Kingdom building could be neat.
If you're up to it, a horror game could be amazing. Maybe combine the two, band of survivors trying to rebuild during a zombie (and even less savory things...) apocalypse.
You couldn't have had any idea but I already have notes for a campaign like that.
I'm ultra down for that.

Sorry, guys.. I was going to post today, but my headache is killing me... I even left work earlier (good thing I do overtime whenever I can, so I have some credit. ;).). I think I'll take a rbeak for the day. I'll post tonight if I'm feeling better by then. Otherwise, see you guys tomorrow.
If you want to do something, post what is and I'll reply to every action you take as soon as I come back.
Cheers & Hadoukens!

Posting this here as well, just so it's easier to find if you want to check it later.
The Muderer
- According to the only witness you know of, the murderer was vaguely humanoid, but bigger than Joel Ironblood, who is quite tall.
- The murderer probably has at least a passing knowledge of magic, as indicated by his care to remove/break both victims' jaws.
The Crime
- The murder occurred 2 days ago, at night. Near the docks.
- According to the Inn Keeper, that very same day, before the crime happened, a skinny man with pale skin and syringe marks on his forearms searched the whole apartment of one of the victims.
- Whoever was there, probably didn't find what he was looking for. It seems he was looking for something liquid or something that could be safely stored inside liquid.
- No dagger was found in the crime scene, despite the fact that all evidence (and common sense) suggest that the victim carried at least one such weapon with him.
The Victims
- The dead man had unusually precise cuts on his ribs and his arms displayed syringe marks similar to those found in opium user.
- According to Lady Hazel, the dead girl (Marilia) used to work at the Calistrian temple, but quit her job and left to live with the dead guy (Theodore - aka: Ted Left-Stab).
- Ted used be part of a fishing crew, but left that job a couple months ago.
- Ted got some extra income in the last few days.
- Ted hadn't been living in the apartment that Eitylen visited for at least a few weeks.
Related (?) Occurrences
- This wasn't the first murder in Blue Shell to display this sort of brutality, but it was the first one that happened out of the more dangerous areas of town.
- Another Viper girl (Louise) disappeared a few weeks ago. Her fate is still unknown.
- According to the witch, someone has been crafting and using some sort of poison that causes an unspecified change on the user, who then goes on to kill people. She knows that by observing the city through the eyes of her "children".

I like Kitsune as more upright foxes, with very distinguishable from human faces (since it's kinda their "thing" and makes their transformative abilities more necessary).
Catfolk can range in my head anywhere from "cute catgirl" to "Khajiit".

It's hard for me to post right now during the day. I can't really make GM posts from my phone, so I have to rely on the free time I have at home, which is currently chopped in half since my computer's broken and the only access to one I have is borrowing someone else', so stuff has slowed down a bit.
I have tomorrow off, so I'll update Myrial then.
On One Step Beyond in particular, I just don't really know what to do, exactly. I'm not very good at investigating things. Gimme all the evidence and I can put it together, but you'll have to lead me by the nose to all the clues in the first place.

Ah, I can help with that! Here are a few suggestions based on information your characters have:
- Talk to the girl who gave Tai Leng an invitation card to the Viper's Nest. She probably did so because she wanted tell you something without her boss knowing.- The victims were no longer living in their old homes, so finding the last place where they lived is also a good idea.
- The witch mentioned the murderers are somewhere her children can't follow. She commands birds. Look for places where birds wouldn't be willing/capable of going.
This has just been a rough week for me. Ill be back to normal within another week though.
Right when you start your campaign... That's some timing. BTW, if your brother is interested, he can join us in OSB. We are one player short of the classic 4-men party, after all.

I kinda had an idea that could make the attribute progression closer to the expected by RAW... I'm actually somewhat embarrassed I didn't think of this earlier.
What if... At 3rd level and every 3 levels thereafter, characters got a +1 enhancement to 4 attributes? That would make the enhancement bonuses eventually reach the +6 mark, like normal gear.
Putting some extra thought on it, I came up with this:
At 3rd level, you get a +1 enhancement bonus to 2 attributes. This bonus increases by +1 at 6th level and every 3 levels thereafter.
- At 9th level, this bonus applies to 4 attributes.
- At 18th level, this bonus applies to all 6 attributes.
The idea is that most characters only usually get their 2nd attribute booster by 9~10 level anyway, and getting a free +6 boost to your least useful attributes is not anything spectacular by 18th level.
The progressions is still slightly slower than normal, but has has greater final results and is closer the usual attribute scaling.
What do you guys think?

BTW, keep in mind that whatever changes I make to "Lemmy's Majestic Collection of House Rules" are completely irrelevant to this game, unless I change the "Campaign's Rules and Guidelines" document, and I won't do that without asking you guys, unless it's something like the Cha-to-Will fix, where a whole lot of feats that do the same thing are replaced by a single feat that encompasses them all. And even, then, I'll not keep the change if you don't want me to.
