Derika
She shakes her fists at the ceiling, "When we get outta here, there won't be enough of you left to do $hit!!" She screams back up at them. Looking to the others before engaging she says, "Healer and magic users stay back and do defensive stuff, we're gonna kill us some more A$$holes. To hell with their exploding bull$hit."
Derika
"I don't smell the chemicals in this part and we got a lot of Alchemist fire stuff on us? Wanna start lighting them up and see what happens?" She says as she starts digging out alchemist fire potions from her bag and hands a couple to Eldan, "Here, in case they get close. I have to get closer to use these things...Those with distance weapons, fire at them...I'll do what I can to try and make them self destruct without dying. This is gonna be really $hitty...."
She says as she moves forward and prepares to engage.
Moving to I11 and preparing to light this mf'er up!!
Vishanti
So not enough for This spell to work?
Vishanti
With limited options that would be effective against undead without getting too close, Vishanti pulls her crossbow, intent on sending a bolt streaking past her love, into the mass of walking dead. She is swiftly reminded of how seldom she uses the weapon.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
1d8 ⇒ 4
GM Henry Fortuna
Two of the zombies charge forward to attack Derika while the rest of the horde shambles forward.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 = 13
It seems the greater danger lies in their exploding ability.

Derika
She shakes her head, "No time now, just gotta hope for the best." She says as she lobs an alchemist fire at the zombie ten feet ahead of her.
Fire in the hole!: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Everything around it takes one point of damage, and then next round it'll take another 1d6 points of damage.
Derika
After throwing the explosive she hears Vishanti and nods. While she felt the need to end this quickly no matter what, she trusted Vishanti and knew she wouldn't tell her to move back unless she had good reason to and a plan. Risking an attack from the zombies nearest her, she moves back twenty feet.
Is that far enough back, or too far. I can go back 15 ft if that's better.
GM Henry Fortuna
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Slice: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Striking down the one directly in front of her, she pivots and brings her axe down against the one on her left as well.

Round 3: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Vishanti, Anton, Parthenia, Zombies
Derika
She cries out a little from the burns that the explosions give her, but prepares to move forward to again. For the moment she would stay still and wait and see what happened. She takes a step to her left so she stays close to Parthenia's healing hands, and prepares to attack again.
Fort Save 1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Fort Save 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Fort Save 3: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Vishanti
Changing her plan, Vishanti steps up beside Derika and sends a wave of pure life energy washing forth, some of the tattoos along her arms and face glowing brilliantly. She trusts Anton's divine power to handle those coming fromthe other direction.
Move to H,17. should get all of the ones on the left Channel Positive Energy: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 4) = 12
GM Henry Fortuna
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Anton's second channeling proves to be less effective.
Z22: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6; Again: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
But the chained explosions put an end to Anton's opponents.
Round 3: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Vishanti, Anton, Parthenia, Zombies
Derika
1 person marked this as a favorite.
She kinda shrugs, "Vishanti will kiss my ouchies and make them better later....I don't know how to kill stuff without getting close." She says as she gives Vishanti an impish grin before getting ready for the remaining zombies to approach. Thinking about the ones who trapped them she says, "I got a score to settle with some a$$holes and I aim to see them pay...up close and personal like." She nearly growls as she cracks her neck.
Derika
She sighs as she waits for the last few Zombies to attack. She didn't want Parthenia to get the wrong idea, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean it that way. I appreciate your concern and everything...I just...it's really stressful right now and I'm not very good at social situations...so I cut up and make jokes. There's a lot of evil in this city and stuff going on that needs to be stopped. It's just...when in a situation like this all I know how to do is get in somethings face and beat it to death regardless of what happens to me in the process. I'm sorry..." She says as she rubs the back of her neck. She didn't mean to upset anyone or ruffle anyone's feathers, she just had an odd way of dealing with things and the stuff she said sometimes didn't come across very well.
Derika
She shakes her head and sighs. She really wasn't good at explaining things...but she didn't want Parthenia to feel bad or anything either. Was there anything she could say that wouldn't come out sounding stupid? She needed to stay focused to finish off the zombies so they could get out of here and find those jerks and finish them off before they did something else horrible to the city. She had a feeling that the corruption here went even further than she could imagine.
