"If we can kill them while they're close together, we might cause them to destroy the horde outright," Eldan says.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She shakes her fists at the ceiling, "When we get outta here, there won't be enough of you left to do $hit!!" She screams back up at them. Looking to the others before engaging she says, "Healer and magic users stay back and do defensive stuff, we're gonna kill us some more A$$holes. To hell with their exploding bull$hit."

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

"I don't smell the chemicals in this part and we got a lot of Alchemist fire stuff on us? Wanna start lighting them up and see what happens?" She says as she starts digging out alchemist fire potions from her bag and hands a couple to Eldan, "Here, in case they get close. I have to get closer to use these things...Those with distance weapons, fire at them...I'll do what I can to try and make them self destruct without dying. This is gonna be really $hitty...."

She says as she moves forward and prepares to engage.

Moving to I11 and preparing to light this mf'er up!!

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda took aim at one of the zombies on the right, and fired.

Attack vs Z38: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 8

Corda's bolt finds its target.

Round 1: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Parthenia, Anton, Vishanti, Zombies

Since we're underground are there roots and other signs of the vegetation above that would be part of the natural earth?

There are some roots, but it looks like most of this chamber has been cleared of vegetation.

Parthenia touches Corda's shoulder, protecting her.

Shield of Faith: +3 deflection bonus to AC

Anton moves forward and protects himself similarly to how Parthenia protected Corda.

Shield of Faith.

Round 1: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Parthenia, Anton, Vishanti, Zombies

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Morgor stayed low, next to Corda, just in case she needed to use him to delivers magic quickly.

Total Defense.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

So not enough for This spell to work?

No.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

With limited options that would be effective against undead without getting too close, Vishanti pulls her crossbow, intent on sending a bolt streaking past her love, into the mass of walking dead. She is swiftly reminded of how seldom she uses the weapon.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
1d8 ⇒ 4

Two of the zombies charge forward to attack Derika while the rest of the horde shambles forward.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 = 13

It seems the greater danger lies in their exploding ability.

"Get back, Derika!" Eldan says, focusing on zombies further away from her, in case his shots were true.

One (Z46): 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (12) + 21 = 33; Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Two (Z46): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30; Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Three (Z47): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18; Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Eldan's first target explodes.

Boom: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

So does his second.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She shakes her head, "No time now, just gotta hope for the best." She says as she lobs an alchemist fire at the zombie ten feet ahead of her.

Fire in the hole!: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24

Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Everything around it takes one point of damage, and then next round it'll take another 1d6 points of damage.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

"Derika Fall back for a moment!!" Vishanti shouts.

You should still have a move action. And I have one thing I can do that could be pretty explosive.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

After throwing the explosive she hears Vishanti and nods. While she felt the need to end this quickly no matter what, she trusted Vishanti and knew she wouldn't tell her to move back unless she had good reason to and a plan. Risking an attack from the zombies nearest her, she moves back twenty feet.

Is that far enough back, or too far. I can go back 15 ft if that's better.

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

Should be. Depending on how I roll this could be pretty nuclear if each one that dies blows up along with the ones next to them.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda reloaded as fast as she could, wishing she'd either held on to or prepared another lightning bolt.

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

With the added danger of exploding, Morgor wasn't going anywhere near those things.

The three zombies in front of Derika swipe at her as she moves away.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Fortunately, none of them manage to connect.

Parthenia opts to wait for Vishanti to act.

Delay until after the shamaness.

Anton holds aloft his holy symbol. "Back to the earth, foul undead!"

Channel Energy: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 4) = 18; DC 17 Will for half.

He then retreats twenty feet back.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

The undead are unable to resist Anton's healing light and explode violently, creating a large chain reaction.

Round 3: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Vishanti, Anton, Parthenia, Zombies

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Left with little options, Derika attacks the zombie right in front of her.

Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

Slice: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Striking down the one directly in front of her, she pivots and brings her axe down against the one on her left as well.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

&Dice: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

She then braces herself for the explosion that is sure to come.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

With the crossbow loaded, Corda loosed the bolt at a cluster of zombies off to the right.

Attack vs Z21: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 10

Z32: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Z40: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Z37: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Derika's attacks cause three of the zombies to explode in front of her. Three more burst from the explosions but do not affect Derika. Make 3 DC 11 Fort Saves, Derika.

More Explodeys:
Z48: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Corda's bolt strikes true, but only causes one explosion.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She cries out a little from the burns that the explosions give her, but prepares to move forward to again. For the moment she would stay still and wait and see what happened. She takes a step to her left so she stays close to Parthenia's healing hands, and prepares to attack again.

Fort Save 1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Fort Save 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Fort Save 3: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

Changing her plan, Vishanti steps up beside Derika and sends a wave of pure life energy washing forth, some of the tattoos along her arms and face glowing brilliantly. She trusts Anton's divine power to handle those coming fromthe other direction.

Move to H,17. should get all of the ones on the left Channel Positive Energy: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 4) = 12

Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Once again, healing energy overwhelms those caught in Vishanti's burst.

Damage to Derika: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5; Another Fort Save.

Other Explosions:
Z30: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Z3: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

A few more zombies are handled with the ensuing explosions.

Anton follows Vishanti's cue and moves into a prime position to wipe out the rest of the zombies on the right.

CPE: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 1) = 8

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Derika stands her ground and takes the minimal damage with amazing bravado for someone who keeps having things blow up in her face.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Anton's second channeling proves to be less effective.

Damages:
Z12: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Z22: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6; Again: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

But the chained explosions put an end to Anton's opponents.

Round 3: Eldan, Corda, Derika, Morgor, Vishanti, Anton, Parthenia, Zombies

GM Notes:
Z2/Z13 hp: 3

Parthenia touches Derika with healing light. "Don't stand so close to the exploding zombies, dear."

CSW: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 2, 8) + 7 = 23

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She kinda shrugs, "Vishanti will kiss my ouchies and make them better later....I don't know how to kill stuff without getting close." She says as she gives Vishanti an impish grin before getting ready for the remaining zombies to approach. Thinking about the ones who trapped them she says, "I got a score to settle with some a$$holes and I aim to see them pay...up close and personal like." She nearly growls as she cracks her neck.

"I was just expressing some concern," Parthenia says with a shrug. "Next time, I'll keep it to myself."

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She sighs as she waits for the last few Zombies to attack. She didn't want Parthenia to get the wrong idea, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean it that way. I appreciate your concern and everything...I just...it's really stressful right now and I'm not very good at social situations...so I cut up and make jokes. There's a lot of evil in this city and stuff going on that needs to be stopped. It's just...when in a situation like this all I know how to do is get in somethings face and beat it to death regardless of what happens to me in the process. I'm sorry..." She says as she rubs the back of her neck. She didn't mean to upset anyone or ruffle anyone's feathers, she just had an odd way of dealing with things and the stuff she said sometimes didn't come across very well.

"I see...then forget I said anything."

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

She shakes her head and sighs. She really wasn't good at explaining things...but she didn't want Parthenia to feel bad or anything either. Was there anything she could say that wouldn't come out sounding stupid? She needed to stay focused to finish off the zombies so they could get out of here and find those jerks and finish them off before they did something else horrible to the city. She had a feeling that the corruption here went even further than she could imagine.
