One of the alchemists unleashes a barrage of magic missiles against Eldan.

MM: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 1, 3) + 5 = 21

The other fires a ray at Derika.

RT: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17; Make a Fort Save, Derika. DC 20.

Round 1: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemists, Morgor, Corda, Derika

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Morgor got next to one of the workbenches and crouched.

Move to B-9, Total Defense.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda raised her crossbow and fired.

Ranged Attack vs A1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

That's most likely a miss.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Fort Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Derika feels overcome by exhaustion.

An exhausted character moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.

This lasts for 11 minutes.

Round 1: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemists, Morgor, Corda, Derika

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Derika glares menacingly at the alchemist and drinks a potion of lesser restoration.

Derika is now fatigued: A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued. Still for 11 minutes.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Now all I gotta do is drink a potion of bull strength to cancel out that penalty and I'll be good to go. If Eldan doesn't kill both of them before I can get there that is

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan steps up to the alchemist who hit him with missiles. "Alright, that's enough spellcasting out of you."

Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 39; Confirm: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (18) + 23 = 41; Damage: 2d4 + 24 ⇒ (2, 2) + 24 = 28
Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24; Damage: 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33; Confirm: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22; Damage: 2d4 + 24 ⇒ (3, 2) + 24 = 29; Impaling critical

And Eldan leaves his rapier deep in the alchemist's gut. "Taste good, @$$hole?"

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Giving him a nod of approval she holds up a thumb, "Kick his ass Eldan, I'll be there soon." She says encouragingly.

Round 2: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemists, Morgor, Corda, Derika

GM Notes:
A2 hp: 30

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

I should probably save Restoration for now since you've already reduced the effects.

With an angry look as Derika is attacked Vishanti moves forward just ahead of her love, focusing on the surviving alchemist. A glow emanates from her outstretched hand, as the alchemist finds himself covered in what appears to be Stardust, emanating a soft pulsing glow.

Move within 30ft. Stardust hex

This stardust causes the target to shed light as a candle, and it cannot benefit from concealment or any invisibility effects. The creature takes a –1 penalty on attack rolls and sight-based Perception checks. This penalty to attack rolls and Perception checks increases by 1 at 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, to a maximum of –6 at 20th level. So -2 right now. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to half the shaman's level (3)

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

*nods* Yup...just gotta wait so I can get up there and kick his butt. Unless Eldan gets to him first, which might be pretty likely at this point. Eldan needs some healing though....

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

I'll give him a Cure Critical next round

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

*nods* Okay, I think he still has some potions on him too...whatcha gonna do right now?

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Doh!! Never mind my little post ninja. Lol

Impale: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The impaled alchemist swipes at Eldan with his dagger.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

The other alchemist casts a spell upon the kobold.

DC 20 Fort Save, Eldan.

Round 2: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemists, Morgor, Corda, Derika

GM Notes:
A2 hp: 30

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Eldan resists whatever spell the alchemist tried to cast upon him.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Derika drinks a potion of bull strength to try and mitigate some of the damage done by the spell before moving a little closer to their assailants.

Drink a potion and move to D5

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Morgor looked up at Corda, <Let them feel the fury of your ancestors.> He suggested.

Still hiding

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

The young Witch knew exactly what the fox meant. Raising a hand, she started chanting in ancient orc. Electrical arcs began jumping across the glowing tattoos on her arm, her hair began flailing about from the static buildup. Corda's eyes glowed intensely white as she stared at the Alchemist in front of her. Snapping her hand forward, a bolt of lightning sailed forth at the man.

Lightning Bolt!*: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 6, 3, 3, 6) = 25 Reflex DC 16 for half.

EDIT: Target is A1, btw.

*"That'll go off in two rounds."

"What? Why?"

"Wild Magic, Sex Ball."

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

so the lightning bolt doesn't happen until 2 rounds from now?

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Quoting Dorkness Rising. Recently watched that with friends, so it was still fresh in my head.

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

The alchemist manages to avoid taking the lightning bolt directly.

Round 3: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemists, Morgor, Corda, Derika

GM Notes:
A1 hp: 88
A2 hp: 30

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan pulls his weapon out of the alchemist, takes a sidestep and starts his assault anew.

Impale: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (11) + 23 = 34; Damage: 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29; Damage: 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Satisfied, Eldan turns toward the remaining alchemist. "You're next!"

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

"Moldovina, Eldan needs our help." Vishanti says as the Ioun Wyrd flies forward. Focusing on the link between them she casts a spell, channeling the healing energy across the distance as her familiar arrives, obe of her glittering stones touching the kobold.

Moldivina delivers touch spell. Cure Critical Wounds: 4d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 5) + 7 = 25

The remaining alchemist unleashes another barrage of missiles upon Eldan.

MM: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 1, 3) + 5 = 17

Round 3: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemist, Morgor, Corda, Derika

GM Notes:
A1 hp: 88

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Taking a single step to bring herself face to face with the alchemist, she smiles as she swings her massive axe at him.

Attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28

Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Still unable to do much, the fox remained where he was.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

With the last opponent distracted, Corda took the opportunity to reload her crossbow.

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan steps forward and attacks, hoping to put an end to the fight.

Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (3) + 23 = 26; Damage: 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34; Confirm: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (10) + 18 = 28; Damage: 2d4 + 24 ⇒ (1, 1) + 24 = 26
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

The alchemist still stands despite Derika and Eldan's assaults.

Round 4: Eldan, Vishanti, Alchemist, Morgor, Corda, Derika

GM Notes:
A1 hp: 24

Female Human Shaman (Heaven spirit/ Life Spirit) HP:46/46 /46; AC: 14, FF: 12, T: 12; F: +2, R: +4, W: +10; Init: +2; Perception: +4

Vishanti gestures, stardust falling upon this cultist as well.

The alchemist takes a step back and reaches out toward Derika.

Vampiric Touch: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 - 2 = 11; Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 5, 3) = 16

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Growling after feeling herself drained even more she swings her axe twice more at him as she gives it everything she's got.

Attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20

Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

*pokes Corda*

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Gods, why am I so bad at this?

Morgor looked at Corda, <Imbue me with healing.>

Delay for Corda to touch me, then move to D-4.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda nodded. Kneeling down, her tattoos on her arm glowed blue as she reached out and touched the fox. The energy transferred to Morgor who then took off like a shot towards Derika and Eldan.

Once in position, the fox licked Derika's calf. The magic the young Witch had instilled upon him transferred to the Half-Orc.

Healing Hex: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 7) + 7 = 18

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

Eldan closes the gap between him and the alchemist. "Let's end this."

Eldan plunges his rapier into the man's chest.

The man crumples to the ground.

Combat Over.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

After she sees the remaining man fall she lets out a sigh of relief, "Damn...they sure were trying to kill us weren't they?" She says as she leans over and puts her hands on her knees to catch her breath, "Thanks Corda...and you too Morgor. I think we need to search them before we move on to the doors on the other side." She says as she starts going through them and looking around the room as well.

perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

The beakers on the tables smell foul and Derika noticed that the two alchemists did their best not to break any of them.

Loot:
2 mwk daggers, 4 potions of CMW, 2 potions of invisibility, 2 potions of displacement, 2 robes of bones, 2 amulets of natural armor +1, 2 belts of mighty constitution +2, 2 cloaks of resistance +2, 2 goggles of night, 2 headbands of vast intelligence +2, 2 crystals worth 100 gp each, 2 spellbooks, a collection of onyx gems worth 600 gp, 1246 gp, a ledger.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Okay, I'm gonna write this stuff down, but it's up to you guys to tell me what you're taking so I can erase it from my sheet. I'm not sure what everyone could use, but I think our spell casters should definitely have the headbands of vast intelligence +2...beyond that, I'm not sure.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Piling up all the stuff on the floor she says, "You guys wanna go through this stuff real quick and see if there's anything you can use?"

Male Reincarnated Kobold Fighter 11 HP: 79/82; AC: 25, T: 17, FF: 19; Fort: +9, Ref: +11, Will +6 (+3 vs. fear), Perception: +2, Initiative: +7

"Aside from one of the cloaks and an amulet, I don't need any of that stuff," Eldan says.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Corda looked about the lab, carefully determining what she could use and what could and should be destroyed.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Alchemy for any useful components: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (10) + 19 = 29

Alchemy for what should be destroyed: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38

I love how I seemed to me more concerned with what needs to be gotten rid of. Lol.

Male Fox Familiar /\/\ 19 / 19 HP | AC: 18 | Tch: 14 | FF: 16 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +4 | Will: +6 | Init: +2 | Perc: +13 | Scent

Morgor went sniffing about the bodies and the room for any sort of clues.

Perception (Scent): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30

Corda finds several hundred gold pieces worth of components that could be used (around 500 gp worth of various components). Corda is sure the rest of it should be destroyed along with the contents of the beakers.

Morgor determines that the scent he had been following came from the two slain men.

Female Half-Orc Bloodrager 7 HP: 84/84; AC: 17,T: 10, FF: 16; Fort: +9, Ref: +4, Will: +4; Init: +0; Perception: +10

Seeing Corda looking over the beakers and things she says, "I'm gonna look over this book thingy and see if it gives any clues as to what they were up to. We can worry about destroying this place once we check out the rest of it." She says as she looks over the ledger trying to make out what they were keeping up with and trying to see if there were any notes in there that pertained to what they might have been up to.
