Terrance Foehammer |

I will see what she has. if you will tell me what you want, I will pass it along to her. However, don't expect it all right away, as it will take time to make.
Terrance waits for what everyone wants, and will then take the list to Jorfa if not to late.
Do you need some company while you walk Ravel?

Ioann Vilescu |

Hearing that Terrance and Ravel are getting ready to leave again, Ioann sights (yeah, again), and slowly stands up, helping himself with the arms of the couch.
"She still open?" he asks to Kendra, before turning slightly toward Terrance and Ravel.
Completely oblivious to the dwarf's readiness to take his order, he speaks to him and the witch.
"Bah, who cares about the vil..." Ioann stops himself, mustering as much will power as possible to avoid hurting Kendra more. "I'll join the two of you." he says without specifying any reasons.
Ioann the walks to the door and puts on his boots again.

Terrance Foehammer |

Terrance quickly goes back up to his room and grabs his warhammer and then comes back down.
I have not spoken with Jominda yet, where is her shop ?

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Looking over at Ioann's outburst Ingrid stands up as the others prepare to leave."Give me a second to get my sword and I'll come aalong as well. I've always kind of liked the way an apothecary smells. And I'd like to meet anyone who was a good friend of the Professor."

From the door, Ioann looks at Ingrid, is body language less agressive than usual when dealing with the paladin.
"Yeah? Any childhood memories linked to that?" he asks, his tone barely derisive.
Out of curiosity, could we have a general map of the house? If you want, I could even look for one on internet, I've been trying to picture it for a while.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Ingrid pauses for a second, thinking about the surprisingly insightful question. "Honestly, yes. I haven't even really ever thought of it but my father would take one of us with him each time he went shopping around before heading out on a mission. I remember the smell of an apothecary was associated with things like wolfsbane and mugwort. Things he used to keep people safe. It reminded me that when my parents weren't with me it was because they were out protecting people I guess. It's probably why I like the smell of a blacksmith's shop too." the paladin replies, almost sounding a little surprised at her own revelation.

DM Twilight |

I personally like not having a map of the house because it leaves it open for me to be flexible about what is or isn't there. That being said, if you guys would rather have one I'll try to put one together for you.
Kendra smiles fondly at Ingrid as she reminisces about days passed with her father. When everyone is ready, she leaves the house and leads you through the town. Location marked H As you arrive back in the area of the town hall, you see that the townspeople still gather there cleaning up the place and consoling one another. As you near the apothecary, a silhouette breaks away from the shadowy mass of building and people to approach you. As it gets a little closer, you see that it is a human woman, "Oh Kendra, I heard that you were burned in the fire are you alright? I can make a salve for you to help soothe the pain?"
Kendra smiles warmly at the woman and opens her arms to her for a quick hug, "Oh no, I am fine. I was barely hurt at all, my poor dress on the other hand... My dear friend, Ingrid, was able to wash away the burns. Jominda, these are friends of the family who came for Father's funeral. I thought that perhaps they might find some of your wares useful in their adventures into the prison."

Ravel Sigrún |

Before leaving, "You have much fonder memories than I, Ingrid. The herbs usually remind me of all the medicines my father had doctors and healers try in my youth to help me get past being mostly bed-ridden. Dill still makes my nose wrinkle."

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Before
Frowning slightly, Ingrid places a hand on Ravel's shoulder, squeezing gently. "Well the good thing is that you're here with us now, healthy and hale." the paladin says with a warm smile.
Now
Ingrid smiles in greeting at Jominda. "It's a pleasure to meet you Jominda. Always good to meet a friend of dear Petros."

Ioann Vilescu |

Earlier
Ioann is surprised at been told such an intimate memory. About to make a rude comment, he smiles meanly. The smile only last a moment, barely noticeable to most people. However, Ioann quickly controls himself for he realizes almost immediatly how very cruel that would be.
Now
Walking toward the village, Ioann realizes that he forgot his dagger in the burning building. As they approach the town square, he separates from the others, whispering to Terrance that he would be right back. He then heads toward the town hall. Are there lots of people around the building? Are the doors open?

I think Ingrid was joking with you, Ioann! :D
Jominda smiles and extends her hand to Ingrid, "The pleasure is mine," and then as Ioann rushes off towards the town hall she says, "Oh... something I said?"
There are a lot of people still inside and around the town hall cleaning the place out.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

"No....he does that sometimes. Pay it no mind." Ingrid says shaking her head.

Terrance Foehammer |

The generous discount is very appreciated.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

"Thank you Jominda, we'd love to see your shop." Ingrid says with a smile, heading in.

DM Twilight |

"Well, of course I am always willing to help out a friend of Petros'," She says with a wink at Ingrid as she uses the same phrase that the paladin just used. "Besides, I was at the meeting tonight. You are all taking a great risk to help this town, it's the least I can do."

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Ingrid can't help smiling in response. "Every good person has the right to feel safe in their own homes. We're just helping where we can." she replies as she takes in the shop, taking a deep breath and feeling herself relax.

Terrance Foehammer |

Helping control the fires and ensure the people were safe is the least that we can do.
Terrance then heads into the store to look around.

DM Twilight |

Is anyone looking for anything in particular?
Ake gets so excited in the shop, looking around and gathering things up that she forgets to try and not draw attention to herself. Soon, Jominda is following her around and the two of them are lost in conversation as they debate the various uses of different herbs and powders.

DM Twilight |

Here the PCs can find all of the special substances and items listed in Table 6–9 of the Core Rulebook as well as most common material components for spells and a good selection of magic potions
You might also recall hearing a rumor that she brews drugs and poisons.

Terrance Foehammer |

So that would mean anything from the alchemical weapons, and tools from the Ultimate Equipment book ?

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Probably this

Terrance Foehammer |

That is very much what I was thinking. :)

DM Twilight |

Jominda nods her head and then turns to stare up at a shelf, "I think... ah yes, here it is." She pulls down a small wooden drawer and digs in it a moment. Pulling out a small vial she shows it to Ioann, "The normal cost would be 100 gold, for you only 50 gold."
Jominda is a level 2 alchemist so things that have spells at level 0 or 1 will have her caster level, and will have been made by her. Things level 2 or 3 will have been acquired from somewhere else and will have the cost used in the chart here.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Ingrid goes through the shelves, picking up a few choice selections before bringing them to Jominda.
Soul Stimulant, Troll Oil,3 Ghost salt weapon blanch

Ioann Vilescu |

Still not looking at Jominda, Ioann takes out a pouch and starts going through it while moving toward the counted. There, he counts 50 gold coins, making a small mound in front of him. Done, he moves toward Jominda and takes the vial off of her hands.
"Should be useful." he says to here, still not making eye contact.
Ioann moves toward the door and waits for the others. After a moment, he speaks up again.
"So, time for rope and pulley? Where could we get that?"
About the ghost salts, I read somewhere that the 20 gp cost was a mistake and that they actually costes 200 gp... not sure I am right though.

Terrance Foehammer |

Terrance wanders around, looking for useful things, eventually coming back with 2 cold iron blanches, 2 silvered blanches, and 1 alchemical fire.
He then digs out the cash to pay for it.
My thanks Jominda.
Ioann, I think you are right on the ghost salt. it is 200 / container. source is Pathfinder Society Field Guide pg 49. Sorry. :(
Mind you, I might be in error, if there was an errata, and I missed it.
If there was an errata, can someone please direct me to it. :)

DM Twilight |

Jominda is more than pleased with all of the business but even more so to be helping out friends of the Lorrimor family. "So, how did you all come to know Petros?"
Ake is still in extreme awe over the place and has started making notes on the organizational method that Jominda is using.

Terrance Foehammer |

A Goblin writing. . . . say it isn't so.
For myself, it was a long story, and one that I am not inclined to share right now.

Ioann Vilescu |

From the door frame, Ioann, harms crossed, answers to Jominda.
"I studied with him. Actually, I came to this town 7 years ago... we most likely met that day. However..." he rubs his face with one hand, trying to remember something "yeah, no. I don't remember you." he finishes lamely before turning toward Kendra. "Where to for rope?"

DM Twilight |

"It is getting late, Ioann. The Avanaki's likely closed shop before the meeting, and with the night's events I think it's best we not disturb them. Jorfa is probably helping with the fire cleanup, we could ask her about pulley's but we shouldn't expect her to leave the town hall to wait on us tonight."
Jominda seems a little put off by Terrance's brusque, dismissive response and then frowns slightly as Ioann makes it a point to say that he doesn't remember her. "I see," she says quietly as she wraps and packages whatever purchases everyone makes.
After a quiet moment, Ake speaks up and tells you all that she has decided to stay on with Jominda learning what she can from the woman about the aspects of alchemy and teaching her what she can of wizardry.

Ravel Sigrún |

Ravel kneels down to embrace Ake. "If you need us, you know where to find us." Standing she addresses the shopkeep. [b]"I will be back when I have more time. I would like to see what you have in the ways of sleeping elixirs or dream poultices... that is how I met the Professor in my youth, he was one of many of my bedside caretakers." [/ b]

Ioann Vilescu |

Ioann sights, uses his back to push himself away from the frame of the door and walks up to Ake. For a brief instant, he looks her in the eyes before rubbing her head, ruffling some of her hair in the process. Without a word he returns to his position next to the door, and only then does he answer Kendra.
"Right, let's go to the estate then."
Ready to head out.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Noting the less that personable responses and Jominda's reception, Ingrid smiles at the apothecary paying for her selections "Petros worked with my family for quite a long time. We both served as valuable sources of information and staunch allies for each other. I'd be happy to sit and reminisce sometime."

Terrance Foehammer |

With a nod to Ake, Terrance looks at the others. Let us get the last of our shopping done in the morning, and get a nights rest tonight.

DM Twilight |

Jominda perks up at Ingrid's offer, "That would be lovely, I can make us some tea. Come by whenever, I'm usually here."
Having met Jominda and made some purchases, the party leaves the apothecary and returns back to the estate uneventfully. Any other plans for the night?

Terrance Foehammer |

Got some shopping at the store in the morning, else nothing for the night

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Sounds like getting a good night's sleep is the plan
