Right on. We're done with this one. Session is reported, and you can find the sheets HERE
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1p6cIH9WEUSzfxfEa1zcL9XdBe1o6JJGY
Ple ase let me know if there's anything wrong with the sheets. Some of you may go for faction goals instead of day jobs, so let me know on that one and we'll fix it. For now, I made them all dayjobs.
Any feedback would be appreciated! Expecially now, since we started this in *cough* April *cough*. Do you feel as if I was not paying enough attention to you or something of the sort? If that is the case, I do apologise, since work was super busy after I came from the vacation, and weekends are kind of awkward when it comes to me being available. So sorry about that one, hope we can move on... Aaaaaaaaand discuss the next scenario?
Speaking of which - Garr and Kazu - the other four people at the table are moreless a long-term project. I think we've played 5 or 6 scenarios together at this point. I'd love to continue with that, and was wondering whether you'd join in or carry on our separate ways and we'd meet in some random game some other time.

Eh, things where steady enough. Few hiccups, but far from the worst time delays, and you where attentive enough to let us know when you could that disappearances where happening, which is more than I can say for a lot of GMs!
Outside of this game taking a little longer than usual, your GMing as always is superb, and I loved it and can't wait for the next game. As always my request is for talky Taldor/sovereign court missions, but if we wanna give our heavy hitters a chance to shine I'm more than okay throwing poor Cypher in a situation where talking doesn't help. Cypher being out of their depth is usually good for some laughs.
Save me Eadric! Save me! *Runs screaming through forest from various meanies*

A couple of questions:
Faction goal - would our work "freeing" the tortured Lissalans count towards "Liberate one or more slaves, captives, or hostages during an adventure."?
Craft (alchemy), day job, Alchemist's lab: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 = 14
Rather, he struggles to organize his work with the new equipment and has one of his poorer showings at his little love potion stand.
Stealth, DC 18: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Also, did we play this scenario up or down? (It looks to me like our APL was 3 exactly, which should mean we should have played up.) If that's the case, I don't think the higher tier items get crossed off (though, I think we can only purchase them once our PC is in that subtier or above).

![]() |

Oh, and I want to purchase some scrolls to add to my spellbook. I'll work up a list, hopefully tonight. We can add them to this chronicle or the next, whatever works best for you.

![]() |

Just confirming that I fulfilled the faction requirement of:
Persuade a NPC against working against the Pathfinder or Sovereign Court's goals by presenting them with evidence that it is contrary to their interests. Pretty sure I did a bluff check SOMEWHERE in there that is 20 or better, if not... Bluff: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29.

![]() |

Also, I'm picking up the Height of Fashion and Royal Title faction Vanities for Cypher...
and it's killing me that the only royal title that's gender neutral is Earl, and even then most people use countess for females with that title. "Earl, Cypher Starchild" just doesn't have the dramatic sound to it that Cypher would love.
Then again, they could complain about that. Repeatedly. :P

![]() |

Can you skin the vanity with a different title, or is it spelled out within the vanity that it has to be one of the titles from a list?

![]() |

It says you "Gain one of the following Noble Titles: Baron, Baroness, Dame, Earl, Lord, marquis, Marquise, Visbaronet, Visbaronetess, viscount or Viscountess. Among the many hereditary nobles in Taldor, your title means little and grants you few benefits other than a official writ declaring it legitimate signed by the Prince himself, You become specialized in Nobility"
Weirdly, no sir or Lady listed, but I assume that's a oversight. I could probably use any title so long as it didn't usurp the Prince's title, and it fit the vaguely medieval theme. But again, the only one that's non-gendered, kinda important for Cypher both on a personal and a mechanical level, is Earl.

I had a fantastic time. I'm always up for more shenanigans with this gang.
I'll have some purchases before we start the next one.
Your GMing is excellent as always. Speed was a bit slow, but I'm fine with that. It gives us more time to come up with shenanigans. Faster games can be stressful, and don't give enough time for RP.

GM NotEspi |

@Tenibri - The thing is, the Lissalans are not captives/slaves/hostages. Cults do weird stuff. Even the unconscious guys (the ones that had stuff carved into them) were doing it voluntarily. The family at the fishbowl does apply, however. They were kidnapped after all, even if their captors got eaten in the process. Strike it off.
@Cypher - I'm not sold on this one, though. You were in a weird place where you were pretending to not be from the Society. That said, I don't recall you convincing anyone to turn on their affiliated group, except maybe the dude in the Lissalan safehouse, and that was using spells. In any case, Pathfinders were never mentioned in that conversation. But if you sell me on it, I could close one eye and let it slide.
Also, did we play this scenario up or down? (It looks to me like our APL was 3 exactly, which should mean we should have played up.) If that's the case, I don't think the higher tier items get crossed off (though, I think we can only purchase them once our PC is in that subtier or above).
You had a combination of low and high tier stuff in the scenario. That kyton, for example, was high tier. The high tier golem would have been trouble if activated, though, so I swapped that with the low tier one. Cypher was the only level 5 in the game and they are adamant on not dealing damage directly, so I had the low-tier golem ready, just in case. And you didn't find that figurine anyway, I think? I'll need to re-check on that. Give me a few minutes.

So Cypher, what's your decision on the faction req / day job issue? Redoing sheets right now.
Bah. Just print the sheet and write it down there. I have faith in you not cheating your way to a gazillion platinum rods.
With that said, sheets are reuploaded in the same folder.
Anyone is in a special with these characters? I am managing a few tables and am in a few games, but I should be able to cope and start a new scenario. Just wondering whether we're waiting for someone else.

Nah, Cypher has become almost exclusive for this group except for when the stars align and their free when one of my local groups is running a mission that works for them. It's a lot harder to play Cypher in meatspace than in cyberspace.
In concerns to my faction mission, remember, the faction requirement says simply that I have to convince someone that they shouldn't act against the goals of the pathfinder society or sovereign court. I even can check off another box if I do so without letting them know about the society or sovereign court, but I've already filled all those out. :) Buuuuuut after looking over the game, I have to agree, I don't think I ever actually presented evidence to anyone or talked them out of working against a pathfinder goal, except the cultists, and I did that by causing chaos, not talking.
Knowledge Nobility: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
So i'll just "Work on my connections" instead for this one. Promise I'll cross out the 5 gold on my sheet, even though it will totally break the bank. XP
Also, so excited to get the choker of body mod. Now Cypher's disguises are physically accurate if someone touches them as well.

![]() |

I, like Cypher, have Tenibri earmarked for this group at this point. He's absolutely free to start something new with this group during Gameday.
Tenibri is working on his Season 8 faction card, which includes a couple of boxes for adventuring "on an Elemental plane or in pursuit of the freedom of a creature with the air, earth, elemental, fire, or water subtypes." Adventuring on an elemental plane doesn't seem like a great fit for this group, but there must be elemental-typed creatures in Taldor that need saving in the course of pursuing some of Cypher's goals.

Alright. I'll add the dayjob gold to your sheet an reupload. 5 min tops.
Done! Link in the first post of this page.

Lol, no dayjob I'm doing the faction sheet instead. :P Sorry if that caused confusion. I'll just cross out the 5 gold and save you the trouble of reuploading I was trying to say.

![]() |

Helme is free. She's part of this group unless and until we decide we don't want to adventure together anymore.

REEEEEE
Thank god for google keeping all of my information forever. Found a backup in the bins. It has nothing stated in the day job field, but it will have to do.

Tenibri has been updated; he leveled up with the last Chronicle, so now has 2nd level spells!
He's made a few purchases for the next session:
wand of investigative mind (6 charges; 540 gp) from 6-22 Out of Anarchy
scroll of knock (150 gp)
scroll of ant haul (25 gp)
scroll of feather fall (25 gp)
scroll of liberating command (25 gp)
scroll of monkey fish (25 gp)
miniature shovel (focus for create pit; 10 gp)
That's a total of 800 gp. He immediately tries to scribe all 5 scrolls into his spellbook.
knock, Spellcraft DC 17: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 (Success: 40 gp)
ant haul, Spellcraft DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20 (Success: 10 gp)
feather fall, Spellcraft DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 (Success: 10 gp)
liberating command, Spellcraft DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 (Success: 10 gp)
monkey fish, Spellcraft DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19 (Success: 10 gp)
That's an additional 80 gp in expenses, for a total of 880 gp in spending to be noted on the next chronicle sheet.

I just double-checked my PFS Tracker and it's up-to-date.

![]() |

Well that was an interesting couple of weeks... I am now in my new digs and once again have an internet connection. Yay!
Unfortunately, until I get a handle on all my new responsibilities, I don't think I should be signing up for any new games yet. It's a bummer, but I think Eadric will have to take a sabbatical while his Bros, Sis, and Cyph go off on more exciting adventures without him. Maybe he'll go to SheildCon and geek out at all the fancy armour? I really appreciate y'all waiting for me though, and I hope you have fun in your games together.

![]() |

Ah. That's too bad. Come back to us soon. We'll have stories to tell as will you. :)

![]() |

Aw, now who is Cypher going to relentlessly flirt with?
Oh right, everyone.
In all seriousness, stay safe, stay happy, and we'll be here when your free again. Don't forget to play a few games with Eadric so that you don't end up to far behind when you rejoin us!

![]() |

Hi, sorry about this, but after reviewing all the games I'm involved in for Gameday, I think I'm stretched a bit thin. So much as I enjoy playing with this group, I really have to bow out. Have fun guys! You are fantastic!

![]() |

Thanks for understanding, guys. I will try to keep Eadric's level up if I can, but since I don't play face to face, it might be tricky. ;)

![]() |

I wasn't planning on starting any new games until October, and then I have committed to GMing an ongoing campaign that is currently on hold while I sort myself out. I'm in unknown territory here, and I fear that I may not get back to normal until the new year. So please don't wait on my account, it may be far too long.

![]() |

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

GM NotEspi |

I would like you all to know that I did not forget about you. It's just that I am a bit overwhelmed both here on the boards and with work. And with some other stuff that is not so serious but just happens to sap my time. I have a free weekend upcoming, however. I'll make sure to find a few scenarios to pick from by Sunday evening. If you can, please update your PFS trackers.
Also, Garr never got back to us about continuing, or did I just miss it?
Might have to lob a PM in his direction, otherwise there's just 3 of you and we need to find more people.

![]() |

Tenibri is always looking for scenarios with a Liberty's Edge focus. He has a faction goal requiring him to deliver a speech in an area where slavery is legal, and other faction goals that require adventuring on elemental planes or in service of freeing elemental creatures.

![]() |

I don't have a strong preference.

![]() |

Ooooo Katapesh has some fun scenarios in that! Plus, it's home to my favorite pathfinder pirate and his crew! (Not that we'll run into him in mission, but still, it's a epic location.)

GM NotEspi |

Heyoooo! Finally got to making the thingy. Head over HERE for the new gameplay thread. I'll recruit some folks in the lodge so that we have a legal table. Once I have all of you in the new thread, I'll close this one.
