Okies... While Equipment is not nailed down 100% and I am still umm-ing and ahhh-ing over the other feat, the character now features a campaign trait and some additions to background that move him into a mostly ready state for this campaign.
I am assuming average starting coin. Let me know if its more.

Average starting coin sounds about right. You are based in one of the biggest cities int he world, getting hold of stuff shouldn't be hard once you get going.
All classes that I can get hold of a copy of the rules for are fair game. So if they playtest PDF is a free download and I can grab that, then I'll run with it until the official rules are on the srd.
Death_Keeper was first on the waiting list, so if he still wants a place, it's his. Bill, I'll keep you in mind for the next place that comes up, I like Witches ;)

I think I am going to make a grizzled ranger (Urban Ranger archetype), who wanted to become a city guard, He will be lawful good and straight as a rail, but he will put the good of the people before the letter of the law.
Hows that sound?

We are looking for a couple more players for this game again due to a couple of drop outs.
The game has slowed an awful lot recently, which is something I want to try to reverse.
Please only jump in if you are capable of checking the message boards at least once per day. particularly during combats, more frequently is good.
Something I've also noticed is that during combat a lot of PbPs suffer from not having much "character interaction" people focus on the mechanics of the fight, and the characters don't interact. That leads to players checking once per day, but not posting until it's "their turn".
So rule two You can post any time. I'm happy to reorder actions to get them to work within init order of the turn. Talking is a free action whether that's jibes at NPCs or in character advice, characters can communicate as much as they like between actions, unless of course you're trying to be stealthy ;)
how far in are you? What happened in the story so far, so we know what is going on.
As far as character interaction in combat, I enjoy saying the weirdiest things and well as making jokes=)
I'm interested, although I should note that I'm running a CotCT game of my own. I shouldn't have a problem keeping knowledge separate. What roles are you short on (I don't want to step on any toes if I can help it)?

Aestereal here. I'm not sure if you want me to introduce Rojerick over there or if here's okay. I went ahead and built him with a campaign trait, since it's not entirely too late for that to be a motivation. The background could probably use more fleshing out, but it's really designed to put me right where the party is right now. Do you want me to go ahead and post a quick intro over in the discussion thread?
The same campaign traits would help us bond- the arriving character could have missed the invite but encounters the players outside the building when we go to confront the ghost (I think it's one at any rate). 'You killed Lamm? Grat! I hated him too!' Is a bonding moment if ever there was one!
Then, assuming the ghost is there we can all enjoy what ever follows together.
That's just my 10 cents. I know I can work a pally into my next step - funding lamms orphans and trying to make a better life for them.
A pally would be fine and a wizard would be cool too - not sure when our sorc is back.
Hello! I'm a long time RPG player irl (mainly Pathfinder these last three years) but this would be my first pbp. I'm very interested and would surely be posting at least once a day. Please note though that I'm from Italy, if you're not in Europe this might lead to some time-lag.
I would like to submit a spontaneous spellcaster, sorcerer or oracle depending on the group's needs.

Do you mean there's already an arcanist in the party? If that's so, I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes... I'm quite willing to try and meet the party's needs in terms of roles to be covered.

Currently have an oracle and a bard. A sorc due back at some point and possibly a monk....
So yeah, we already have some arcane power ;)
If you want to tailor, something that hits hard up front would probably be a good shot, or something with lots of skills.
That said, I'm not really too worried if it's a bit lop sided, I can compensate for that. Players who want to check in and interact are worth far more than fabled party "balance".
Speaking of which, Rojerick checking in. He's more of a meat-shield, so if you're looking for something with a lot of damage, I've seen some decent inquisitors out there. Plus, it'd be someone to have horribly RP'd religious debates with, assuming we're both picked.
As far as taking care of the orphans, his oath to Sarenrae wouldn't let him do otherwise, and even if it would, his daughter wouldn't.

Jamie, that looks good. This is a *very* urban AP, which you might want to bear in mind, but that doesn't stop you going down that route.

Also, I'll mention now: I consider XP to be a party progression tool, so everyone will always be at the same point and it's tracked on Obsidian portal to keep things nice and easy to find.

Another small bit of recruitment. We are looking for an Archanist.
Either Sorc, Wiz, Witch, Alchemist probably in that order of preference. Any alchemist would have to be built for ranged combat.
The party of a reasonable amount of healing, and is mostly front liners, but feeling the pain of having very little magic backup.

i would be interested. I have a major hankering to play a kobold sorcerer (kobold bloodline) I would not want him to be evil, as I don't like playing evil characters usually.

Hello, Roj here. Group paladin. Posting is usually minimum of 1/day, but it's often faster than that. Our current group composition is Sword and Board Paladin (Me), Greatsword Oracle of Battle, Switch-Hitter Urban Ranger, and Reach Weapons Bard. Ideally, I'd personally prefer strong role-playing that's complementary to the group as opposed to any specific build, though arcane spells are needed.
