Taking another swig of his bloody mary, Kehanu asked, "Alright, what now Kid?"
As Yamaneko heads into the shower, Miyuku pulls up a map of the area while calling down top the front desk to check if there were any messages.
Yama takes about twenty to thirty minutes in the shower. Much longer than she usually does, but she finally come out dressed back in her Hello Kitty shirt and ruffled black and hot pink skirt. While her eyes might have a hint of red to them, and her hair is all over the place, she seems a little calmer.

"Feeling better Yama-chan?" Miyuku says quietly.
She nods, her still wet hair falling into her face. She bites her lower lip as she grabs her thigh high stockings and combat boots, and goes to sit on her bed to put them on. She just sits there quietly for a couple of minutes before putting them on.

Miyuku has no messages waiting at the front desk.

Once she has her stockings and boots on she sighs and looks up at Miyuku, a troubled look on her youthful face.
"I've been thinking about stuff....I'm almost sixteen and I think.....I'm not sure there's any point in forming an attachment to that boy. It doesn't matter how I feel, it's just not practical right now. There's no telling what's going to happen and I just.....I don't think that kind of a distraction would be a good thing right now." Her voice quivers slightly and she starts to chew on her lower lip a bit. She looks down, "There's more important things going on right now. Eventually.....someone is going to see us on here and might recognize you. I refuse to allow my focus to be split and risk losing you because of a boy. I.....don't want to lose you and Ill kill anyone that tries to take you away from me. I can't be foolish if it means I might lose you........I just.....can't." She sits quietly then, the blanket on her bed now in her fists.

Miyuku moves over to sit next to Yamaneko and puts her arm around her daughter. "I'm sorry little one, sorry that you haven't had the kind of stability that would be good for you. I promise once this is over, once we've gotten anyone who's still looking, that we'll settle somewhere where you can have friends and all the normal things you should."
She looks down for a while the weight of her choices sitting heavily on her. "You deserve better than living on the run."
She looks at her mother with tears in her eyes, "I would rather be on the run with you, than in one place without you. I have never regretted a single second of my life with you." Her voice breaks on the last word as she wraps her arms around her mother and lays her head against her shoulder.

"I don't know, get to know the city and scope out future competition?"
Finishing off his drink, Kehanu stood, "Alright then, let's go."
Miyuku holds her daughter for a while, just silently comforting her. After a bit she kisses the top of Yamaneko's head. "Ok, I'm going to go take a quick shower and we can get going ok?" she says getting up.
She nods, "Okay, Ill wait here." She grabs Mr. Floppy and lays on her bed.

Going into the shower, Miyuku gets out of her bathing suit, enjoying a hot shower.
They had to do well in the tournament. Even moreso, they needed to lush out and eliminate anyone who was still looking for her.
Once her shower is complete, she dries and dresses a simple black tank and a pair of dark red jeans along with high heeled boots, finished with a holster belted onto her hip.
"Ready to go?"
Putting Mr. Floppy down on the bed she gets up and grabs her Hello Kitty shoulder bag. She smiles and nods, "Yup, I'm ready. Don't worry, everything will be okay."

The streets are filled with many activities, it almost feels like a carnival at night. You see several people playing card games, people taking strolls and food vendors selling all sorts of treats.

"We just gonna wander or is there anywhere specific you'd like to go first?" Taro asks.
Raising his hands, "Hey, I'm just a Meat Shield, I don't have an opinion." Kehanu responded sarcastically.

Yama is amazed by all the lights and booths and the completely different feeling of atmosphere as opposed to earlier. Seeing all the booths she can't decide what to do first and looks up at Miyuku, "So....what should we do first. It's been a while since lunch....wanna see what kind of food booths they have around? I'm sure Taro-san will be at one of them....maybe he'll have George and the others with him? What do you think?"
"It's worth a look. The way he eats he's sure to be out there somewhere." Miyuku says with a smile "Let's see what they have to offer."
She nods and heads off towards the various vendors with Miyuku.

The Saitos find all sorts of food, from sweet buns to tempura on a stick.
She claps her hands together, "Oh wow....they have sooo much stuff. We just gotta get some sweet buns, and just a little of everything. Just no squid, I don't like it." She laughs as she makes a beeline for the sweet buns.

Miyuku chuckles happy to see her daughter's usual enthusiasm restored.
She walks up to the sweet bun vendor and starts asking them about flavors before settling on a red bean sweet bun.

She bites into it and nearly burns her mouth in excitement. She makes that almost humming sound she makes when she's eating something she finds really delicious. "Mmmmm.......that was so good. Lets not go too fast okay? What do you want to do now? We can just look around and scope out some of the people for a bit if you want to, or check out one of the other activities? There's just so much going on....." Yama is slightly overwhelmed by it all and can't seem to decide what to do next.

"Glad you agree." Taro jabs back before hopping off into the city, with no real destination in mind.
"I think just strolling around and taking it all in would be good for both of us." Miyuku says studying the people around.
She nods, her pig tails bobbing up and down. She walks through the streets with her mother just watching the people and keeping an eye out for Taro-san, George and his friends, and hentai-san. She giggles to herself momentarily.

People walk by with a carefree air. The smile and wave at others, the tension and violence of the day seemingly vanished.
Yama walks around her hands in the pockets of a light sweater she wears. She looks up at Miyuku, "Everything is so different now. It's almost like a party isn't it?"

"Yes it really is. It's almost as if nobody acknowledges that tomorrow they'll be shooting at each other or hunting each other down. Definitely different." Miyuku observes thoughtfully.
As Miyuku is walking, she picks up on a low-frequency transmission.
Yama grabs Miyuku's arm, "Do you think maybe they're putting something in the food to make people act this way? What if it's some kind of mind control?" She tries to laugh it off as a joke, but something about the way people are acting has her a little freaked out.
"It's a thought." Miyuku says halting. "I'm picking up something, just keep talking while I tune in."
You recognize the voice as MC R.E.Z.'s, but the transmission has a lot of static.
Yama nods her head and smiles, "So, I wonder if Tree-San came out tonight as well, or if he decided to stay in and do his medatative thingy? I haven't seen Taro or Kehanu either yet, but I guess this is a big place right?"
Miyuku listens trying to hear through the static.
"It is pretty big, but it might be a good idea to check in on him anyway in a little while. And keep your eyes open for the others, it might be a good idea for us to have a talk with them."
It's clear yo Yama that there is more her mother isn't saying in such a public setting.
She smiles, having learned a long time ago how to pick up on her mothers subtle cues. Getting an excited look on her face she says, "Yeah, maybe I can see George, Scoooter, and bashful again. They were sooooo cute!!" She keeps her voice light and happy as she scans the crowds casually.
