after a few good shots, elmar makes one in particular popping off the head of the undead. then elmar and Kaylor work together and easily take down 1 golem.
Before combat
for kaylors checks, most pass by allot, others are passed by his companion.
The girtablilu, whose name was Dakuri, was the nephew of the mercenary leader Rubilia. Dakuri was a fine scout and the girtablilus anxiously await his return. A successful dc 25 religion check allows a pc to recall the burial customs of the girtablilu. To respect the body, the pcs should cover it with sand (and they did) and place a stone stone engraved with a simple rune over the body (and oh, look, they just happen to find one). A pc who makes a nature check dc 20 knows that the amulet Dakuri wears is a personal effect that his family would likely appreciate having returned. Return it to family or keep it for money and profit/and or own benefit?
at the lair of the king. a pc who makes a religion dc 15 recognizes the structure as a temple of Sarenrae. with a dc 25 religion check a pc can identify small religious glyphs carved on the pillars indicating that the temple's residents deconsecrated the temple in a formal ceremony, probably as part of moving to another holy site. In such a ceremony, the temple relics would have been removed, along with any items of value that could be of use a the new site.
Zereletan does see the pcs as unfriendly, but as the heroes show off what they know about the religion they find out he is a proud and noble person and that he struck a deal with the pcs. Find my lost crown and I'll give you my treasure He does mention where he lost that treasure, but considering the danger there and the fact that it is at the bottom of the water, he himself cannot easily get back the item himself and neither can his guards.
Back to combat: Avelloran is up.

DoubleGold |

okay botting avelloran, he mostly takes damaging spells and would get a level 6th spell, so lets says it is acid fog to hit the 4 birds in that corner.
dmg: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 acid to all birds in the upperlefthand corner.
then the birds retailate by using razor wings on the closest targets
6 of them and each get 2 attacks.
first four attacks at zub, next four attacks at elmar, next 2 at nahoce and last two at kaylor

then the one bird still takes bleed dmg.
zub was hit for dmg: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 and every round on your turn until battle ends or until you are healed you will take dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 5 continous damage ever round from bleed.
then the dragons, they aren't going to use line effects just yet, next round they will though, but for now just claws after moving

forgot all about that clay golem before I claimed everyones turn yesterday, assume he took total defense

Kaylor Traice |

As tempted as he is to try out his sacred geometry ability to blast the dragon with cold or fire, Kaylor decides he'll probably do more damage with a full attack. He charges his blade with arcane power swift action for +5 keen frost flaming scimitar, defensively casts arcane mark, and makes good use of Nahoçe's blessing to get an extra attack, continuing to fight defensively.
Turns out the first 3 hits kill the dragon. So in order not to also kill Zuberu's opponent, I guess I pose for my 4th attack.

AC still 39

Kaylor Traice |

Did we find out what kind of dragons they were? They have more than 100 hp.
This says they only have 95 HP. If they actually have more, let me know, and I will kill it with my 4th blow (most likely).

Kaylor Traice |

Aww, what a sad waste of a crit for Kaylor. I could have done MASSIVE damage with that. #FirstWorldProblems

it was dead by the time silver got to it, so he could not have shot it, so he shot the other dragon engaged with you, it currently has 17 dmg on it. notice how every time an enemy dies, I just delete rather than mark it dead, you might as well just say when it dies it disappears, unless it is scripted to resurrect or be found, etc.
Edit Elmar actually killed the golem in 3 hits, so he used his other 2 to kill off a bird silver worked on.

Kaylor Traice |

Kaylor auto succeeds all those checks.
The party all hears a voice in their heads. Kaylor says the new folks are prettier cousins to SB. They do something similar to pouncing but with a large jump and have kind of nasty bites as well as 2 claws. The drakes only have a lot of resistance to electricity, but immunity to paralysis and sleep. They can put on a great burst of speed three times a day and like to spit nasty electric dust balls to obscure sight and deal damage in a 15ft radius. They can also fly. The cultists are still pretty wimpy pathetic good for nothing- The voice is cut off by Kaylor's voice coming from and seemingly empty square.
"That's not what I said...."
Oh please, they're nothing compared to those other things. Anybody want to take bets on how long before we defeat them all? For some reason I feel like we should split time in to 6 second intervals. Although why 6 and not a nice 5 or 10, I have no idea.
I don't really know how the enemies are formatted, and I'm kind of tired of killing them all before the reach us, so I'll just make a simple wall of fire barrier.
Kaylor uses his 3 seconds prep time to move away from his comrades to avoid having the entire group get hit by an area effect. He then waits for Elmar to fire off his shots and then puts up a wall of fire as a sphere with 25ft radius around the group with the heat facing outwards. This should prevent any of the cultists from being able to shoot at us from a distance until they're within a move action from us. And the drakes can't just fly over it.

which is not only enough damage to kill both cultists, but does massive damage to a bulette, preferably the one zub does not have pinned.
oh yes, I forgot about the bulettes massive size, thus taking up many squares and I find it funny that zub has one pinned.
okay the one pinned will try to get out. cmb: 18 + 1d20 ⇒ 18 + (3) = 21
the other will swipe twice at silver
hit: 14 + 1d20 ⇒ 14 + (10) = 24
hit: 14 + 1d20 ⇒ 14 + (14) = 28
Silver took dmg: 4d6 + 16 ⇒ (2, 4, 1, 4) + 16 = 27
all heroes are up again

Zuberu |
Zuberu continues to mercilessly crush the beast trapped in his arms.
Grapple (Righteous Might): 1d20 + 29 + 5 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 29 + 5 + 5 - 2 = 39
Damage: 1d8 + 12 + 1d8 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 12 + (3) + 5 + 4 = 32
Move Grapple: 1d20 + 29 + 5 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 29 + 5 + 5 - 2 = 49
Damage: 1d8 + 12 + 1d8 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 12 + (5) + 5 + 4 = 32
Only once it goes limp does he release it.

Hopefully you didn't overlap this with the two cultists Kaylor killed. Because he had already killed 2/3 of the cultists surrounding him and the last one only had ~20ish HP left
Kaylor, deciding shocking grasp, would be unnecessary, kills the bulette who was so thoughtful as to stand right next to him.
To Hit 2: 1d20 + 21 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 21 - 2 = 24
To Hit 3: 1d20 + 16 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 16 - 2 = 32
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 16 - 2 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 16 - 2 + 9 = 35
Damage 2: 1d6 + 12 + 11 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 11 + (2, 1) = 30
Damage 3: 1d6 + 12 + 11 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 11 + (6, 2) = 33
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Total Damage: 30 + 33 + 18 = 81 I believe this far more than kills it with all of Elmar's previous damage

okay, so the heroes return to the kings palace and he thanks you for recovering his crown for him.
Naheeba is now at the place. thank you for getting rid of those bulettes, me an my people greatly appreciate it
A man named Erayu and his maftet tribe are also there. You must go to the walled Oasis, we are missing a part to the bronze sentinel there. as they point to the bronze sentinel not activated. however it is filled with some fire type creatures.
Heroes rest here in the kingdom for a day, gain treasure for their work.
If anyone would have used any healing spells before the new day please say so as you get them back.
we are back to roleplaying, for a day, interact with each other and any npcs as you'd like

Zuberu |
Tell me about her.
Zuberu mingles with the peoples they rescued, sharing his patron's teachings and tales of the party's heroics in the face of the danger. He offers to practice wrestling with the strongest among them and give them weapons training so they might better protect themselves in this dangerous desert. While he works, he seeks out the most beautiful and healthy women to share Sobek's virility with.
Diplomacy (tap inner beauty): 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 17 + 2 = 39

Noticing Zuberu's attentions, Kaylor looks around for a certain type of person previously mentioned in a spoiler to the DM.

try as zub might, all of the nomads in the room are male, except for one and her name is Naheeba. That was very good zub, but I'm married as she shows you her real wedding ring. I don't think my husband would appreciate it. that was a really good roll, but she won't betray her beliefs
Just then a very attractive female walks into the room, but does not yet know what Zub did or wasn't there at the scene. Zub, go ahead and make a perception check. roll or take 10, take 20 not allowed in this scene.
