nahoce, you take damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

One of the dolls bit me on the ankle.

Nahoce tries a sweep with her spear (not a combat maneuver, just flavor).

Spear: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Ah, my sacrifice to the Dice Gods has been received favorably. It's about time, you stupid Dice Gods!

DungeonMaster

The sandling was hurt by Nahoces spear as it was strong enough to pierce through that armor. The bird however does hit it, but the creature feels nothing. the damage reduction. These things seem to be more powerful than a CR of 2, it only took 12 of 26 damage.

In retaliation both try to bit her attack: 6 + 1d20 ⇒ 6 + (18) = 24 ouch it goes through all that armor
attack: 6 + 1d20 ⇒ 6 + (9) = 15 this one is just not quick enough

damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 it bites her on the rib cage and knocks her unconscious. don't worry these things will try to knock everyone unconscious first before eating, so it won't attack someone at 0 HP or below unless everyone is.

Silver bullet retailates against the sandlings attack: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (13) = 16 but he barely misses it with his Earthbreaker. He then moves back so he can try his gun next.

Sefu and Kaylor are up

actually you know what, why should I take the average? screw you monster you don't get 26 HP, I'm rolling for it, not to mention the one in the book has 3d10+3 instead of 4d10+4 and they both say CR of 2, I'm going with a variant crossbreed.

Hp of first: 3d10 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1, 7) + 3 = 13 so we just need to deal 1 more damage to it, or 6 non-bludgeoning damage to it.
Hp of second: 3d10 + 3 ⇒ (9, 4, 6) + 3 = 22

Round 71
These things are dead, time for healing as things will get harder on out ,if anyone has healing spells use them, if not I move onto the next part of the map, sadly there is no treasure in here. The alter was an alter of phrasma obviously. The tracks you saw earlier lead to secret passage number 1 as shown on the map. You all had to travel down the stairs to get to this room.

SB is down by 9
Avelloran is down by 5
Nahoce is down by 8 but is now woken up
Sefu is down by 2

Round 75-77
You are in this room, depending upon how long it takes to heal up. Post your healing actions then I will describe what is in the room, if party has no healing we take it to dicussion, so I'm not waiting for something that does not exist.

DungeonMaster

okay so in this room..

A tapestry hangs from a frame against the south walls of this large chamber; it depicts an otherwordly vista where the souls of the dead, shepherded by strange beings, enter an ethereal river ambling through space toward a landscape dominated by an impossibly tall spire. Columns sculpted in the shape of Osirian warriors wielding khopeshes stand in all 4 corners of the room. The floor is tiled in a white spiral pattern on a black background, and this spiral pattern is repeated on the stone double doors to the north, east and west.

A bunch of small easy to beet mining beetles come out of hiding that were in a different spot. realistically speaking as you move, so would monsters, also the book says mining beetles, but the book does not have statistics of them and neither does the website, so I replaced them with something else of an equal CR rating.

Wait these aren't beetles, but instead these things. baboons

Male Human Fighter 7: spd:30, Init:7, AC:24, FF:20, T:15, HP:74/74, Fort:8, Ref:6, Will:4 (+2 vs fear)

I do, as this will increase the size of my bullets and weapons as well.

DungeonMaster

Avelloran can still state who he casted enlarge person on but for now...

The baboons are angry, so they go after the dwarf, provoking an AOO from Nahoce, Avelloran, Elmar. avelloran, you can make any attack, even if you don't have any spells left you can still make an unarmed attack at str+1d20 and damage is str+1d3 with min of 1 non-lethal and nothing bad happens if you fail, though I assume you still have spells you can use.

Here are the attacks of the baboons assuming none of them die from AOOs. Damage will be rolled after AOOs are made. The ones that rolled highest on the attack rolls will get hit first with the AOOs to increase the chances of survival.

bite: 3 + 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + 2 + (13) = 18 the flanking ones will go first
bite: 3 + 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + 2 + (14) = 19 the other flanking one
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (4) = 7
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (10) = 13
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (11) = 14

so there is a chance elmar does not get bit, if 2 of these things die from AOOs. Actually technically speaking, only 1 has to die because then the flanking ones lose their flanking bonus which means the highest would become 16 ot 17 vs Elmars AC.

Avelloran casts Enlarge person on Silver Bullet and uses acid dart on a baboon Acid dart: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Elmar finishes off the last monkey
You all head into the room with the sarcophagus.
Some of you head there through the way of the secret passage by busting down the wall, others head north.
Some of you check the stairs it leads to a dead end.

At the stairs, there is some history: After the death of his family, Akhentepi took a mistress whom he planned to eventually marry. Preparations for a secondary tomb for her were begun here. When Akhentepi died unexpectedly, no financial provisions had yet been made to continue excavating the tomb. Further instruction on his mistresses crypt was abandoned, and the tomb was sealed in its current state once Akhentepi's interment was complete.

In the Secret passage, there is nothing, the enemies were in here but the migrated to the room you all fought them in, the tracks traced to this area. The Secret passage was constructed so the priests who interred Akhentepi in his burial chamber could bypass the false tomb. At the time of his death, Akhentepi was a significant military figure in Wati, but not so important that the architects and workers who constructed his tomb were executed to keep its secrets. They were instead sworn to secrecy, and their last duties were to set the tomb's traps, lock doors, destroy the key and seal the mausoleum.

In the False Burial Chamber where the sarcophagus is: The statues warned you of the trap.
The center of this large octagonal room is a raised square platform a few inches above the floor, with a stone pillar at each corner. A gold-trimmed sarcophagus sits in the center of the platform, flanked by two statues of humanoid beings with canine heads, each of which holds an ankh in one of its crossed arms. Stone double doors exit the room to the North and the South.
Because you all know the trap is there you all take 20 on perception and and those who have it disable device as there is not hurry.
Afterwards you open the sarcophagus now that the trap is disabled, which takes 30 minutes but find you a Gold Leaf

To the right you can see a small roo, nothing to see here. This room served as a quick escape from the trap which would have activated an animated object and let water pouring into the room, this room is water proof.

Eventually you all come to the place know as the Chamber of Grave Goods.
Though not marked on the map...

This room holds several neatly arrayed chests, boxes, and urns. The dust of centuries covers every surface.

Akhentepi's grave goods were placed in this chamber, in keeping with the Osirian cultural belief that his soul would have access to those items in the Boneyard while he awaited final judgement.

What do you all do?
I stopped tracked rounds during this dungeon, since you will all be out of here in time. I know someone was tracking Mage armor which lasts and hour, so for reference, it has only been 42-43 minutes

Meanwhile, Elmar will at the very least take 10 on Perception to spot any obvious traps, which I believe is a 16.

Is it large? And would it help to cast grease?

DungeonMaster

Surprising, it is small sized. As far as grease just try it you want, everyone will be taking a long rest after this battle anyway, as you will be out of the dungeon and head back to town.

Lore Keeper, touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

If hit, treat as successful Knowledge Engineering check at 19. Never mind.

DungeonMaster

Lets see if we can get this to work. Avelloran comes up behind Silver Bullet, grabs his already loaded gun out of his very pocket and tries to shoot the thing. He then pull out ammo out of Silvers pocket.Don't worry, this thing don't have reach so you are 10 feet from it. You are not proficient and it is in melee, but you are flanking.

pistol: 3 + 2 - 4 - 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + 2 - 4 - 2 + (14) = 13
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7 It leaves a dent, as it is barely hurt.

The thing does try to bite Silver Bullet. attack: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (10) = 13 But Silver bullet is well armored and protected.

Sefu, Kaylor, Nahoce, Silver bullet, and Elmar are up before this thing.
