Turning away from the Maravanchi, he nods to Elfric, raises his glass, and replies to Silvio, "It is the funeral of the great adventurers Verik and Larissa Vanderboren. We are all greatly saddened by their loss."

Silvio face shines up. "Great adventurers? Much like Silvio!", he announces. "I can drink to that." He looks around for a nearby guest with an unattended glass, swipes it with quick and deft fingers and gulps it down with one swallow. "Somebody must tell me more about these Vanderborens. Maybe they met Silvio on their many travels", he says after wiping his mouth if his sleeve.

Eh, well its a shame not to get in, but it will give me time to tweak this character for any other roleplay I come across. Just unfortunate to miss the chance to finish a campaign I've only ever partially gone through. Congrats to those that did get accepted though.

Sorry, Joshua, you were No. 7 and I went back and forth for a while. Ended up going with the other person as it looked like you've got another PBP and that person didn't, so wanted to give him a shot at one.

Quite alright. I actually just recently started the PbP and have found it quite fun. It gives me that extra roleplaying my Sunday game lacks. And who knows, maybe I'll run across another one of your games later on.

Throughout the rest of the evening the Varisian makes his rounds, shaking hands and sharing stories. He is purposely vague about his history with the departed but answers questions as best he can without giving specifics. Eventually, he gets to asking about the couple's children, their dealings, and if they followed in their parent's footsteps.

I expect I'll be lurking this game and may well apply again if you have to replace someone. If I do you can be assured that the application will have some actual work put into it unlike poor Lal. Good idea but there was no flesh on the bones.

Yeah, I really liked the very basic crunch of Lal, with the aquatic mechanics, but I just didn't feel I had enough detail on him to pick him, even with looking at your posts on Tark's CoT to get a handle on your posting style. He would've been in consideration otherwise, considering the group doesn't have a full arcane caster.

Classic case of over extension. The whole half elf half deep one idea had legs but I just did not have the brain cycles to pull it together. Keep hi in mind if you need a replacement and I'll get Lal all tricked out Who knows perhaps he will find a home in the new pirate AP!
