The women exchange a look at your greeting, Silvio, and the younger barks out a laugh. "Perhaps you could serve us if you cleaned up a little. Find some decent clothes, and you can apply at our manor house," the older one says with a disdainful sniff.
"You wrong me, my dear madam! Before you stands a captain of the great seas!" Silvio replies and throws up his hands to feign shock in a performance that would put a actor in a farce to shame. The charade lasts only for a few seconds before the young man's smile returns. Once more he runs his hand through his hair and turns to the young woman. "But i can not stay mad", he announces playfully. "Silvio is powerless your presence. Even though i have spend the last few years at sea (a lie, or as Silvio would put it "a minor exaggeration but crowned with the essence of truth!") i would not hesitate for a second to drown in your eyes! Perhaps Silvio should take you up on your offer. Then i would be able to bask in your beauty and you may boast that you at one time had the great captian Silvio Callgari Pazzi in your employ." The last sentance is acompanied with dramatic gestures to emphasize the importance of his words.

Hey Motte--
Excellent. My entry. Name is still TBD, but I like the character. We'll see if you agree.
Briar of Sarenrae:
Briar's last argument with his superior didn't go over very well....*at all*.
As it turned out, his supervisor *did* have the authority to *make* him do stuff. The point was made especially well when his supervisor had him scribe his Vow of Obedience 100 times until he really understood his obligations to the Church of Sarenrae.
Briar didn't mind the scribing. He *loved* scribing and calligraphy, but was much less excited about the results of the reminder: he had to leave his quiet and peaceful monastery and go *do* something.
Briar didn't mind doing stuff. He liked scribing, and copying, and calligraphy, and reading, and not leaving the monastery. In fact, one of Briar's favorite things was not leaving the monastery. That all changed after the argument with the supervisor who felt that Briar was wasting his life doing what he enjoyed in service of the goddess he loved. Sadly, this priest seemed to want more from Briar.
"AND DO *NOT* COME BACK UNTIL YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING!" Were the exact words given by his supervisor as they booted him right out the front door. For his part in the debacle, Briar regrets all the crying and wailing he did at the front door, begging to be let back in.
They didn't let him back in and despite his promises to do something next week, Briar found himself leaving anyway after a few days of sleeping out in front of the monastery. At least he was given a place to start with the names of some friends of the Sarenraen Order to seek out: Verik and Larissa Vanderboren.
* * * *
Carrying all his possessions that he has the in world, Briar's first big trip alone into the city had gone pretty well. To date, he had not been mugged, nor torn apart by demons, nor eaten by kobolds. He did find himself running away from a particularly evil looking black cat (It had yellow eyes!), but otherwise his journey had been quite peaceful.
In fact, most people seemed to greet him nicely and treat him well. It might have been the prominent holy symbol on his upper chest or the fact that he didn't look rather threatening. He never mentioned that he scimitar at his waist was mostly for show (it had never been swung in anger) or that his armor had never been tested.
Of course upon reaching town, Briar's plans had gone drastically awry with the untimely deaths of Verik and Larissa Vanderboren. He had no idea what to do next. Briar searched his copy of Sarenrae's The Birth of Light and Truth to see if there were any good answers of what to do next. Sadly, reading the text just made him sad as he remembered how much he loved to make calligraphied copies of book back in "the good ol' days".
Without any good answers, Briar slowly walks into the Standing Stone Park in the city’s Sunrise District to pay his respects to the two nobles he never met nor received help from. He is attending the funeral because the lacks any other options. He needs to *do* something.
Shuffling his feet towards the halfling woman, Briar asks to confirm that he is in the right place. "This is the celebration of the life of the Vanderborens, yes? Do I need to sign in or pay to enter?" Briar wouldn't think of risking offense. "I'm not too late, am I? Should I go away now?"
Briar scans the group of assembled mourners, hopeful, but unsure that he might be made welcome.

I'm interested in getting in on this but rolling for stats and I don't get along.
Here is an example:
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 1) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 5) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10
Would it be alright if I stole someone else's array or just used point-buy (of your choosing of course)?

The candidates so far:
Sunshadow21 -- Elfric Waterborn, halfling witch
Lost gamer -- Professor Willert Gavish human, Oracle (Seer)
Wellard -- Sir Basil de Fermer, human paladin
InVinoVeritas -- Finnwappet Luggnagg, Gnome Alchemist
Patrik Strom -- Silvio Callgari Pazzi, human fighter/rogue/bard?
Alexander Kilcoyne -- Norvic Oakhide, dwarf barbarian
Shanosuke -- Gan Laccaran, human ranger
Painlord -- TBD, human cleric
I think that's everyone so far. Holler if I missed you.
Gan, sorry about that. I did indeed mean you. I guess I was combining your first and last names or channeling Robert Jordan.
Mark, no problem. Thanks anyway.
Feral, we can figure something out. I rolled a couple arrays for you and got bupkis too and then a third array that was a little too crazy even for me. Give me a character and we can work on stats later. You can also try rolling a couple more times if you want stats to help you decide what to play.
Role-play
"Yes, we are indeed the Jade Ravens," the human man in the group say. "I'm Tolin Kientai, and my companions are Zan Oldavin" -- he points to the half-elf -- "and Kaskus Kiel" -- the dwarf -- "as well as Liamae.
"I suppose we are indeed mercenaries, though we've served the Vanderborens for many years. We joined more recently, but the Ravens and Vanderborens have long been close," Tolin explains.
Near the entrance, the halfling woman assures Ser Basil that she will deliver the note to the Vanderborens' children. "And of course I can direct you to a nice inn, but, please, you've clearly come a long way. Please take your time in the park; we're celebrating our lost friends. When you are ready to leave, come back and I will give you directions."
The old halfling then turns to the latest arrival, smiling at his questions. "No, dear, you do not need to pay to enter and you are not too late at all. All are welcome here this day to remember Verik and Larissa Vanderboren."

The old halfling then turns to the latest arrival, smiling at his questions. "No, dear, you do not need to pay to enter and you are not too late at all. All are welcome here this day to remember Verik and Larissa Vanderboren."
Briar will look happy as he walks further into the celebration, his eyes scanning side to side for imagined dangers.
I should probably learn what the Vanderborens were all about. I mean, my superior wouldn't have sent me to them for no reason....or would they?
Briar almost turns around as self-doubt eats at his mind, pushing an urge to flee and never come back. But Briar remembers how much he likes calligraphy and decoration and any hope of a return to the monastery and keeps his feet pointed in the direction of the mourners.
Approaching the red-haired woman and his elder relative, Briar will stutter out an introduction that he hopes will be received well.
"Hi, uh, hello." Briar smiles nervously. "I bring the condolences of the Sarenraen Church. Blessed are those who walk in the Sun." Briar gestures to his holy symbol then creates the movements of the rising sun with his hands (his two hands together slowly rising, fingers extended like the beams of the morning sun).
"I am Briar. While my superiors knew the Vanderborens, I was less lucky to know them and no less sorry to hear of their departure. What can you tell me about them? I knew so little of their lives."
Briar braces himself for the response from the ladies, his brown eyes nearly closed as if they might protect him from the answer.
Please don't say adventurers. Please don't say adventurers! Please don't tell me that my superiors wanted me to be an adventurer. For the light of Sarenrae, please tell me they were flower tenders.
Gan Laccaran
Gan nods approvingly. "I see not bad. They been on many adventures. You must not have been in their employ several years ago when I first met them. They had run into trouble with a local gang in a city not far south of here. The gang had ambushed them on the road and I managed to show up just at the right time. And of course me being the good citizen of the land that I am could not simply look away with out lending aid. With my added archery to the equation, the balance of the conflict quickly shifted and we were able to come out with most of us, the late couple included, in tact. I journeyed with them a ways and after they had reached their destination here in Eleder, we parted ways. A good couple they were."
Gan looks at the others who came to visit the merc bunch. He looks at Finn and Elfric "Why hello there chaps. You also friends of the Vanderborens come to pay your respects? I am Gan Laccaran, world traveler and chance savior to the late couple. A pleasure to make your acquaintance gentlemen" Gan then gestures to the spider monkey on his shoulder. "And this here is my good buddy and traveling companion Guinness Flingspoo, so named for his unusual talent." The monkey squawks and bows politely. Gan smiles at the two now standing before him waiting their response.

A shaggy middle-aged Varisian man quietly enters the scene. His clothing and equipment are clean but carry the unmistakable wear and staining that comes with frequent use and exposure to the elements. A fierce raptor, a particularly large hawk, perches on his forearm but with a whistle and a swift movement the bird tears off into the sky and circles overhead. As he approaches the small crowd, the Varisian removes his colorful patchwork head-wrap in respect.
He makes his way to the Halfling woman, as she seems to be in charge.
"Good day, is this the wake for Verik and Larissa Vanderboren?", he asks politely. "My name is Zstelian Karela. I've come to pay my respects. Both Verik and Larissa were very important to me", he says solemnly.

Like this a lot - remember vague details from old issues of Dragon...
Character details below - hope I'm not too late:
Race/class - elven rogue
Stats: Str 12, Dex 20, Con 12, Int 17, Wis 15, Cha 11
Feat: Two weapon fighting
Traits: Making good on promises, river rat.
RP: A cloaked figure pads silently towards the gathering. His clothes are patched, salt stained and ragged, and he bears raw red wounds around his wrists where his recently removed shackles chafed against them. He seems anxious; it takes a while for anyone to notice him, but then one of the attendant priests catches sight of him. "You!" he barks. "Come to repent your sins, corsair, or is it other people's pockets that interest you?"
The elf spreads his hands in a gesture of innocence, his face blank. He speaks in a grating whisper. "I've a debt to pay. I didn't make it good before the Vanderborens kissed the skull - reckon that's why I got nabbed the last time. Bad luck."
He takes a well-kept steel dagger out of his belt and hands it to the priest, hilt first. "That's the shiv back. Now, do you have any charity left in your dry pebble of a heart or do I get kicked out now?!"

Role-play
The women look at Briar for a moment before the older one responds. "They were explorers and fools," she says. "Spent most of their money on a crazy scheme to set up a colony, if you can believe it, in the middle of nowhere. Hardly dignified for a noble like Verik, but I suppose that's what can be expected from consorting with the sort of people like Larissa."
Tolin begins to respond to Gan when suddenly, the sound of raised voices rises about the other noises in the park, as a pair of men begin arguing over something. "Excuse us," Tolin says, "we'd better deal with this." As they walk away, you can hear the dwarf mutter something about "typical Meravanchis."
The halfling woman, seeing the Jade Ravens moving to deal with the disturbance, looks back from the raised voices as Zstelian enters. "Yes," she replies, "this is the Vanderboren wake. I'm Kora Whistlegap. How did you know the Verik and Larissa?"
The priest of Desna gives the corsair a long, searching look. "Very well, if you are here to pay your respects, make yourself welcome. But I will be keeping my eyes on you."

Explorers and fools?! Colony?
"Oh, Larissa was one of *those* people." Briar makes a point to emphasize the word 'those' as if he knew exactly what she meant.
What kind of person was that? Cultist? Kobold lover?
"What happened to the colony? Is it still there? Is it safe?"
Maybe I was supposed to go there. I hope it's safe.

Zstelian quickly averts his gaze for a moment, an expression suggesting that this was a question he was afraid he would be asked.
"Well met Kora. We worked together at one time. We were very close", he says hoping that that's all she will ask. "How did you know them?"
Since this is a shot in the dark, some liberties are taken here. Correct as needed. I am assuming Verik and Larissa were married.
News of their death hit Zstelian hard. What if he had been there? Could he have averted the crash? Guilt, regret, and a burning desire for some closure forced the Varisian to attend the wake.

I offer Lal, last name unknown. He grew up on the docks and ships of a dozen ports. Indeed it is a rare month that he spends more time ashore than on or under the sea.
Half-elven water-child Aquatic bloodline sorcerer.
Campaign trait. Making good on promices.
Lal will try to fill the role of primary arcane caster. The water themed spells are quite good at utility and control with the odd blast thrown in.
Curosity. Lal lives to see and do new things. He has few roots instead touching lightly on several places. He feels things strongly but only for a short time. One the one hand this makes him easy to get to know and work with but it also seems sometimes that he is not always here. That he is playing at this life waiting for something else to begin.
Friendly but distant. Lal tends to know you better than you know him. He is a friend but is never quite predictable.

The older woman nods at your first comment, Briar, but then seems surprised at your questions. "How in the world would I know what happened with the colony?" she says, scorn in her voice. "Do I look like I have any interest in some group of commoners thousands of miles away? My interests are here in Eleder."
Noticing the commotion, she waves toward it. "There are the Meravanchis now, making a scene. Ask Zebulah if you can; his brother went down there, I believe."
---
"I've been the Vanderborens' major domo for some time," the halfling woman begins to say to Zstelian, before she's interrupted by the disturbance.
"Oh dear, what's happening now? If you'll excuse me, I'd best ... no, wait, it looks like Tolian has it in hand," she says as a human man, trailed by three companions, begins making his way toward two other human men arguing.

Briar will turn his head to look at whomever the lady points out (should she deign to point at all).
Dargon Dolgrinson
Dargon's backround and crunch will be tweaked to fit into the AP if selected. But he will more or lesss be as he is in his profile.
Deep in thought, recalling his fondest memories of Verik and Larissa Vanderboren, Dargon walks nonchalantly through the gathering crowd.
"Duck!" Verik screams out to Dargon a bit too late as the man’s club hit’s Dargon on the side of his head. "Ouch! That’s going to leave a mark for days!" Larissa says as she draws her weapon coming to terms with the fact that this deal is a bust and they’ll be fighting their way out. "Ha! My skins tough even by Dwarven standards," Dargon replies. "That hurt no more than a lass’s slap," he continues while simultaneously punching the man in the head so hard that he immediately drops to the ground.
His thoughts jump to the next vivid memory of that battle.
Dargon notices that another man has Larissa in his sights, crossbow drawn and perfectly set for a kill shot. Instinctively Dargon moves towards her to knock her out of deaths path.
"I said, welcome and good day Mr. Dwarf!" the halfling women shouts at Dargon.
"Thank you and good day to you too little lass," Dargon replies as he wakes from his daydreaming. "No lass that’s the one that left a mark," Dargon says under his breath as he rubs where the bolt pierced his bicep and continues his uncharacteristically (for a dwarf) nonchalant walk into Standing Stone Park.

Before the commotion
Guinness extends a hand towards Elfric as if extending an offer to shake. Given the monkey's name you look at the hand suspiciously. Gan laughs. "Don't worry, he washed his hands before coming to the party." Suddenly the commotion begins. "Sounds like some trouble. Wonder if our assistance is needed? If nothing else I am curious to see what the commotion is about." Gan heads over where the others are to inspect the source of chaos.
At the site
Gan nods at the crowd now gathering at the site. He lets out a low whistle. "One little incident and everyone has to see whats up. Guess this little gathering is that boring eh Guinness?" Guinness chatters his agreement. Gan stands on the outskirts of the commotion trying to see what is going on. "Little buddy, you wanna check out the action for me and report back?" Guinness salutes and jumps from head to head to get a better look.
Guinness reports back after some observation and starts chatting with Gan. Gan nods as if he understands. "I see. You don't say. Ya don't say. Wow now that is interesting. I need to see for myself." Gan moves to get a better look at the action.

Gan, just so you know, if I select you, I'll want you to change Guinness' last name. Sorry, but I think more jokey names of that sort tend to take me/players out of the world they're in. Will give the profile a longer look later tonight; I'm heading out for the evening and should be back 11-midnight-ish Eastern time.
RP
"He's a Jade Raven," the halfling replies to Zstelian, seeming distracted and not explaining any further. "If you'll excuse me, sir, I see someone I should speak with."
As she walks away, a distracted dwarf enters, suddenly realizing that he's left with a strange human standing in front of him instead of the halfling woman he'd been walking toward before he got lost in his memories. Tweaked your entry a bit, Dargon; you're left standing in front of Zstelian instead.

As she leaves, the younger of the red-headed woman talking to Briar responds: "He's the older of the two; the other one is his son, Avner. I wonder what he's done now," she says, a slight hint of dark amusement in her tone.
Before he can move much closer to the Meravanchis, Briar is interrupted by the halfling. "I can see you're new to town, sir, so I would suggest not spending much time with the Kellanis," she says quietly. "They're not the most pleasant of Elederens. However, I think my mistress might like to meet you. If you are available, please come to dinner tomorrow night at the estate, on Festival Street and Blue Skink Lane."
Painlord is the first accepted applicant. We've had a couple aborted games together, and I know I was enjoying gaming with him, so this will give us another chance.
---
As others gather around the commotion, an older human -- his face turning red in anger -- grabs the arm of what appears to be his son. "I don't want to hear it, Avner. We're here to pay our respects to a family we've worked closely with over the last half a decade. This is not the place to try to find a companion for the evening!"
I'll be back midnightish to check in again, I think. Keep up the entries, and feel free to interact with each other in my absence. (If you're just "arriving" please feel free to post as if you'd been in the wake before, if you want. You don't have to have your first interaction be with Kora, though you can do that if you want. She'll return to her post at the entrance of the park after talking with Painlord.

No update for Silvio? :(
"I can see that i have left you tongue tied, my lady. Don't worry, Silvio's precence can be overwhelming, i know", Silvio says to the redhaired woman with a selfassured smile dancing upon his lips. The argument behind him draws his attention and he casts one last smile at the young lady. "I can hear destiny call for Silvio. I will give you time to think about my proposal, but don't take to long. Silvio is promised to the wind. If you hesitate i might scatter in the wind." With that Silvio makes his way towards the argument, drawn like a bug toward a oil lamp.
Gan Laccaran
I am not sure I understand the problem with the name. Gan is just that kind of guy. However, if it is going to be the difference between me getting into a game or not, it is a small price to pay. I just thought it would be fun to have and it was.....for the few posts it lasted. I will change his name to Gibbs McGuinness if that is okay.

Sekathral flicks his eyes towards the disturbance, grimaces, then concentrates on secreting as much food as he can in various pockets in his cloak. He's tempted to use the distraction to pick up a few purses from those intent on the argument, but decides against it - definitely unlucky. Definitely. Like stealing coppers from a corpse's eyes. However, did he hear Elfric mention he was a navigator? He surreptitiously brushes down his clothing, drawing his cloak across his shirt to hide the worst of the holes, and walks over to him. "Well met, shipmate" he says, grinning nervously "Know of anyone hiring?"

Character concept:
Jasren Holdrath
Human Wizard (Conjurer)
Jasren, born and raised in the Noble District, was the second son of a family of wealth who made a good living as accountants for the upper class of the Noble district. In the Noble District, a good accountant was a dime a dozen, but one as good and trustworthy as jasren's father was hard to come by.
With their mother and father as their mentors, Jasren and his brother were pushed to their limit in their studies. They were expected to learn not only finances, but other fields that would aid them in their interactions with future clients. Along with that, they were also schooled in various languages and fields of study by their father's friend in Thelenar Academy. In this way, Jasren and his brother became not only good in mathematics and calculations, but good Noblemen as well. However, no matter how much Jasren learned, he was unhappy with his life in the Noble District. As such, he would often sneak out and visit some of the seedier areas of Eleder. The Azure District in particular quickly became the young man's home away from home. The sights and smells of the Azure District waterfront amazed Jasren in how different they were to what he was use to in the Noble District. After a few visits to the Azure District, Jasren noticed the stares that he was getting from some of the people on the street and in the shops so he quickly gave up his finer clothing for simpler clothes that blended in with what others in Azure wore.
During one of his visits to Azure, Jazren stumbled across a very odd scene. Taking what he thought was a short cut to Azure street, he ended up approaching an occupied dead end. Two ruffians had a delivery girl backed up against the stone wall that divided the harbor from the rest of the district. Even from the entrance to the alley, Jasren could see the fear in the girl's eyes. Before he even realized it, he was shouting to the ruffians to let the girl go. Turning at his call, the two broad-shouldered, scruffy looking men sneered as they saw how small Jasren was compared to them. One of the men turned back to face the girl as the other approached Jasren wielding a sharp dagger. "Ye jes found yerself a heap o' trouble," the advancing ruffian said as he came closer. With out much time to act, Jasren quickly muttered of a small incantation as his fingers worked quickly and an invisible field of force enveloped his body just in time to deflect the ruffians thrusted dagger. Fear filled his eyes as he back stepped to get away from the dagger wielding man. Once there was some distance between him and the ruffian, he called up another spell and a dazzling burst of color overwhelms the ruffians senses as he fell to the ground, unconscious. Reacting to the sound of his fallen companion, the other ruffian turned and snarled as he charged the the young wizard. Drawing his crossbow, Jasren fires a lucky shot, that while unable to kill the ruffian, was able to hit him in the leg, stopping the man's charge. In response, the lone ruffian hurled his dagger, which found its mark in the noble wizard's shoulder. Letting out a yelp of pain, Jasren slumped to the ground as the ruffian carefully rose and limped over to the wounded mage. As the ruffian approached, sneering as he did, Jasren focused all his concentration on a simple cantrip. As he finished uttering the simple arcane phrase, a glob of acid launched from his outstretched hand and hit the ruffian square in the face. The ruffian screamed as he fell to the ground in pain, grabbing at his face before slipping into unconsciousness. The man's scream, loud enough to be heard from the street, attracted a few passerbys as well as a City watchman. Upon seeing the scene before him, the armed watchman demanded to know what had happened. Jasren let the delivery girl, who later he learned was named Janina, tell the watchman about what had happened. Believing the girl, the watchman directed Jasren to a temple where he could he healed, while he arrested the two wounded and unconscious men.
Thanks to the peril that Jasren had saved the young delivery girl from, Jasren was able to meet Verik Vanderboren, who the girl was delivering a package to. Having a chance to talk with the man, Jasren secretly became his pupil, often returning to the man's home to learn of what he and his wife hade seen in their lives as adventurers. Taking to what he learned form the couple with zeal, Jasren fortified his book knowledge with the vanderboren's own experiences. This furthered his desire to see more of the world. A few years later, after hearing of the Vanderboren deaths, Jasren decided to defy his aporents and attend that wake, in honor of the two that had taught him to learn for the sake of learning.

Approaching the gathering, Jasren looks around, as if not sure he was at the right place.
There sure is an odd assortment of people here, he thought to himself as he joined the group.
"Greetings," the man said in an educated tone. "My name is Jasren Holdrath, this wouldn't happen to be the Vanderboren wake, would it?"

Zstelian turns to greet the newcomer.
"Indeed, this is it", the Varisisan confirms. "But it seems someone or someones is set on disrupting the gathering", he says as he points to the intense argument occurring nearby.
"It seems Verik and Larissa had many friends and not all of them get along. How did you know the departed?"
sunshadow21
Elfric will shake the monkey's hand before it heads off to see what the commotion is about. At being asked about employers, "Not thus far, though I remain hopeful. The day is still young." Elfric stays near the edge of the commotion, trying to pick up names and attaching them to people for later on in the day.

"Oh, now, don't be too hard on the lad," Finnwappet suddenly blurts out, even to his own surprise. "'Tis a somber event for everyone. It puts us all out of sorts. Some of us get very serious when we grieve, others of us, search for a bit of levity and fun. Besides," he says, turning to the younger member, "you probably just need to fill that void that dearly departed Verik and Larissa leave in all of us. It's a sad state of affairs, and this is not the time or place to pursue companionship, but that gnawing feeling on your soul? That little hollow space? Why, we're all feeling it. Now, how about we all pay the late couple our respects, shall we?"
dathom
The man's manner and presences markes him as a native of Eleder. Smiling in relief that he had not arrived at the wrong wake, the well mannered Jasren replied, "Verik and Larissa were once teachers of mine. Though my wizardly training was had at the Academy, they taught me to expand my view of the world. It has been some time since I last saw them and while it is sad to think of them again at their wake, it heartens me to get a chance to meet some of their friends. And your sir? How did you know the Vanderborens?"

Sorry for the delay in my character concept being posted. I've been busy working on concepts and doing other tasks in real life. With this said, I will have something a bit more solid for you tomorrow along with a start to him entering the intro roleplay, However I would like to leave you with the concept I have so far.
Zarzel'ton "Rendrick" Goldwatch is quite the abnormal gnome even in gnomish terms. Not only does he stand shorter than most of his race at 2' 11", but he also suffers from a Napoleon Complex. To make up for his short stature, he often hides it by engulfing himself in his alter ego Rendrick (Biped Eidolon standing at 7' that he keeps disguised as an Aasimar), learning new languages, and obsessing over his his various crafts and the magical arts.
Among his crafts, he is noted as a prodigy in the field of jewelry earning himself a coveted seat beneath a jewelcrafting master and even a study job working for the Vanderborens.
While preferring to stay out of combat, he tends to prefer his crossbow despite he is more proficient with the light, medium sized, mace that swings at Rendrick's side. However, when all else fails, he has a knack for surprising his enemies by attacking with the tools of his trade.
Dargon Dolgrinson
Dargon gathers himself after his daydreaming spell and begins to take in the scene around him thinking "Those Vanderboren sure did keep a colorful set of friends." Dargon walks up to the commontion. Unconcerned with the details of what's going on, he pipes in, "Can someone direct me to where I’m to pay me respects?"

Whoops, sorry, Patrik. Was rushing off to dinner when I posted.
I'll check out some of your other posts, Alexander. I'm certainly a big fan of your Kingmaker conversion (not sure if Sunshadow and Patrik like it as much, but no one's died yet. Come close a couple times, though... : )
Sorry, Gan, I can be fairly particular sometimes about small things. Touch of OCD, or whathaveyou. You should have seen me when I ran a fantasy football league...
Silvio, you catch the women roll their eyes as you make your departure, after their conspicuously ignoring you. "Really, mother," the younger one says. "How much longer do we have to stay for this? I have things I have to do."
The older of the arguing men glances over at Finn, surprised at his interjection. "This is no concern of yours, friend," he says, the last word coming out through clenched teeth. "I'm having a discussion with my son."
He looks around at the gathered crowd. "What are you all watching? This isn't some production of 'The Six Trials of Larazod!' Come, Avner, I think we'd best leave now." He takes the younger man's arm and starts pulling him toward the park entrance.
Sorry if the RP part's a little short, all. Wanted to post before I went to bed, but bed is calling quite loudly.
Sir Basil de Fermer
Basil says little as he moves from group to group within the park merely exchanging pleasantries and observing the interaction between others. He seems pre-occupied by something.
Actually rather like Alexander I feel I have a sufficient body of work on these boards to show my RP abilities..Basil himself has already been in two failed games
Gan Laccaran
Gan watches and nods as they leave. "Family matters are none of our business. Though now that the disturbance is over we can get back to a proper wake." Gan makes his way over to where Zstelian and Jasren are talking. "Greetings fellas. I'm Gan Laccaran. I had the opportunity to save our late couple from peril. Shame I couldn't be there again. How about you? What is your relation to our good adventurers?"
