We need to make with leaving the White Weasel so Malavarius can cast detect magic on that mirror. It's the second one we've found and I'm worried now we're being scryed on through them. =\

Not that Quinn would know this without speaking Skald, but Sertane said something about forcing us to surrender as he drew the item, given what happened to Tsin I would be afraid of more compulsion magic, and given the dastardliness of Mr. Spicer's adventure designs I would also fear a special form of explosive rune that burns us to ashes then transports our ashes to the nearest chamber pot.

I think Tsin is the only one that can use martial weapons and armor, so it's all yours.

Quite right, Master Mal. Tsin bears both sword and shoe. She can wear the normal snowshoes, just wants to close quickly with nasty things :)

I'd like the burning hands for either Mal or Pemsworth (if it's on the witch spell list). And, I'd kind of like to pick up the scrolls of stabilize more as gesture of good will to the innkeepers. They might not try to murder us if we spend heavily at their establishment and save them from white witches to boot =P

the aura is from the animal, not an object, and Quinn doesn't have knowledge arcana, only spellcraft, so at a DC15 I think he can only succeed on a nat 20 on the untrained knowledge check?

At the risk of giving away what might happen next, are characters aware of supernatural affects, whether they succeed or not?

They don't provoke attacks of opportunity, so obviously there's no major gestures. If, say, someone were to use an evil eye hex, do PCs have a way of knowing that, perhaps feeling out of sorts or something?

I think the use of any standard action ability grants a check to people directly observing the creature taking the action? However, the type and difficulty of the check is wide open.

After the fact, I have no idea about how characters know they have a curse or hex upon them? I'll do some messageboard searching...

...looks like Mal has the right of it, the only thing I found was that the saving throw creates awareness that a malicious effect has occurred, but not the source of that effect.

Ok, Team, if that inner gate is within 130 feet, I can drop a hold portal on it if you'd like to start the festivities/violence.
