RL update real quick....
I've been having problems with my dinosaur Chrome Book charger and I'm now left with just battery power for my computer. (And spending $50-$60 to order a new charger from Best Buy feels like buying 2 new tires to put on a breaking-down car -- thus I'm probably going to just buy a new computer.
All this means is that I will be able to come to The Boards when at work only (once my battery runs out, that is) and once I get my new computer. Expect fewer posts from Iommi-Tyr Magnusson in the upcoming days but I AM keeping up.

Sorry, I'm sympathetic to the English.
King Henry VI IS the true King of France in 1430. He was crowned King of France Christmas 1431 after years of putting the ceremony off and on again.
Of course, the child king didn't want war with France to continue and some of his supporters (read: one faction of powers-behind-the-throne) pushed for that.
But none of that matters.
As far as Iommi-Tyr Magnusson is concerned, Henry VI is the rightful King of France because of his family lines on his Mother's side, his father's side, his paternal great-grandfather's side, his maternal grandfather's side, and pretty much all other blood-lineages flowing through his veins.
I think it will be fun for my PC to be the prejudiced-against-France PC in the group -- ESPECIALLY if we stay in France. I gotta bite my tongue less my head be chopped off! (Add that to PC's distaste for Christianity!!!...)
Oh, and Mike,
some nation in Krynn
SHAME on you, shame.

Another weirdo... Im not sorry.
Also MJ thanks for going with the assumptions, they made sense Nacht is suffering from sensory overload at the moment really.. He is trying to understand the world.. again.

Chimerians are monstrous creatures born of the machinations of the Archdevil Lucifer, the ancient red dragon Conflagratius, and Nero the Antichrist. Created to serve as shock troops, they are essentially bipedal chimeras that are more intelligent than their magical beast predecessors, and are capable of wielding size Large weapons and using tools with their hand-like claws. A chimerian stands 10 feet tall, and weighs 700 pounds.

Kiyu has no influence with the group yet so she is merely listening.

LOL!
Mike, when I ask about Calais I'm not looking for textbook history; the closer we get to England the more I'm gonna know than you!
What do I know about Calais different from history or that is specific to the campaign?

Haha! Fair enough.... I'll post some additional findings re: Calais for Iommi-Tyr in gameplay shortly....

I empathize with him.. but it really didnt help the pick pocket.. to do so in front of Nacht.. and THEN hide.. and run.. He's like a mouser.. or Fox hunting dog... it was like enticing him with premium prey. Also Stealing is bad.
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
Hell you were even nice enough to WARN him not to run or to give up earlier.. but what did he do? Try and get away with it.. He only started to become repentant when he found out Nacht was not only some type of monster.. but one he couldnt run from was faster than him AND intelligent.. enough to begin tormenting him. If he had stopped and just sat down or given up Nacht would have lost all interest.
Kyleon
Hello, all! It looks like I will be joining in the multi-lingual festivities!
As it stands, it will probably make the most sense for Kyleon to brush in when you press to cross the channel.
Kyleon
Though my initiative comes later, I would normally queue an action. However, given a giant sea drake goes before me, I'll wait to see if Kyleon is consumed first!
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
Well Technically your Surprise round was pulling out the Crossbow ( Unless you had Quick Draw) And firing it as Surprise rounds allow, Standard, free and Swift Actions only. Then on your turn you would have fired and missed. Not a big deal though but that is what happened. Nacht for example cast a spell that would have happened regardless.
EDIT: Also Alphonse.. SUCK IT! :P
Kyleon
Well Technically your Surprise round was pulling out the Crossbow
That it was. DM, please assume Kyleon's shot was on his full round of initiative.
Hisao of the Yellow Reeds
Whoah, I was just updating Hisao's gear and I realized there was a hat of disguise in the King of France's prison cell that nobody claimed! I'll take that and not buy one from Flamel if that's ok!
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
I will note This guy would have been fine... if he didnt have a detailed pic of Nacht. He was being secretive.. and has too many notes. That suspicious and sadly for Him Nacht is not sure what a NORMAL artist is.. but he is sure they don't note all these things.
Nacht is about to 'question' him.. luckily he made the Bluff.. otherwise this would be straight murder.
Rynjin
This scene reminds me of something I've watched but I can't remember exactly.
Might have been Full Metal Panic FUMOFFU!?! where Sousuke keeps choking m#*!@@~%*~@#s out in the middle of class and dragging them off to hide because they're "acting suspicious".

He's lucky Nacht didnt do the alternative... Knock him out and then grab him disappearing before anyone knew what was going on. It goes without saying what likely would have happened.

I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I gotta ask you, Endoralis, don't you see a pretty big chance that Nacht will be arrested and throne in jail, or worse, because you murdered this dude?
....What if it puts the rest of us in the position of either publicly supporting or renouncing your PC?
I mean, I'm of the opinion that everyone should play their character as much as they can but only to a point -- if a character is so grossly antithetical to the party it may be time to ask the player to build another PC.
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
That requires people to
1) Know it was him without a doubt
2) Have evidence to prove it was him and
3) Find out while the group was still there.
If you feel you have an issue you could be asked the same thing. Just because a character is more active than another or even better, able to achieve certain things does not make them stupid. What do you think nacht is going to do? leave the remains to be found? Being arrested and thrown in jail is likely not going to happen.. at all.
