The Beetle Man remains unharmed by the chimerian!

The chimerian facing Iommi roars/bleats/hisses in agony as the Norse alchemist's fires consume its body! It collapses in a charred heap that slides off the mountain ledge and plummets, flaming and bouncing against the mountainside, to a fiery demise down in the ravine below!

Reflex save for the chimerian facing Nacht 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 succeeds....

The chimerian on Nacht also roars/bleats/hisses in pain and tries to shake off the flames from Tyr's bombs....


Reflex save vs firebomb 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 succeeds, half damage taken....

Reflex save vs firebomb 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 fails, full damage taken!

RRRAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!


Simultaneously, the other chimerian gets both Iommi and Nacht in a crossfire on the ledge with its fellow, but this chimerian's green dragon head opens its jaws wide to expel a cone of caustic green gas, which deals 6d8 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 4, 5, 4) = 23 acid damage to Nacht and Iommi-Tyr, or half that amount on a successful DC 17 Reflex saving throw!


Shrieking in rage and pain as it burns in his alchemy, the chimerian that landed near Iommi-Tyr opens the jaws of its white dragon's head wide and exhales a frosty cone-shaped blast of winter chill in the Scandinavian's face, dealing 6d8 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 8, 8, 8) = 35 cold damage to him and to Nacht, or half that amount if the heroes can succeed on a DC 17 Reflex saving throw!


The white dragon-headed chimerian dives to meet Iommi-Tyr.... The green dragon-headed chimerian dives to challenge Nacht....

Both double move to get Iommi-Tyr and Nacht within breath weapon range....

Iommi-Tyr Magnusson Readies an Action to throw a Bomb at a Chimerian when they fly within 30' of me IF they have a Breath Weapon.
If they do not I throw a Bomb at a Frost Giant that is adjacent to as many other Frost Giants as possible.

Iommi-Tyr looks at the dragon heads on the chimerians, and sees that one has a green dragon head, it's maw wafting greenish vapors.... The other chimerian has a white dragon head....

He sees the chimerian with the green dragon head beginning to hurtle toward him, so he lets his firebomb fly! It explodes on the beast's shaggy hide and sizzles its flesh!


A pair of chimerians back the frost giants up, circling on the wing some 120 ft over the heroes' heads like great buzzards!

Chimerians are monstrous creatures born of the machinations of the Archdevil Lucifer, the ancient red dragon Conflagratius, and Nero the Antichrist. Created to serve as shock troops, they are essentially bipedal chimeras that are more intelligent than their magical beast predecessors, and are capable of wielding size Large weapons and using tools with their hand-like claws. A chimerian stands 10 feet tall, and weighs 700 pounds.


In a cavern lit by the glow of a flaming river of magma that runs through it, a chimera chained to the cavern wall bleats, roars, and hisses simultaneously from its three heads as it gives birth to a new monstrosity, wrought by evil magic....

The first chimerian is born beneath Mount Vesuvius, under the watchful eyes of the great red dragon, Conflagratius, and it's co-conspirators, the Archdevil Lucifer, and his evil progeny, The Antichrist....

Raw, unbridled rage and malice, condensed into a mockery of human shape.... A bipedal chimera, born with innate intelligence that surpasses the dim wits of its beastly mother.... Capable of wielding great weapons in its humanoid-like hand-claws! Capable of following more complex orders, and carrying out even more diabolical plans under the guidance of their evil masters, the chimerians would help to usher in the Apocalypse in grand and horrific style!

The first, newborn chimerian foal gives three voices to a triple cry, filled with malice and hatred!
