Ragnir Brightaxe |

Ragnir continues forward as years of training to fight against giants takes over muscle memory. He steps up close, moving in to make it harder for the giant to attack, and swings at the things legs. He looks dismayed when his blow skips off the bone. "Bugger me...Och! I'll be a durned idjit, they're undead giants, no meat on em, can't be fightin' em ta take out hamstrings."

Round Two Recap
Ulfgard charges just to take a misstep and nearly falls.
The Skeletal Giant reacts to the Dwarf's charge by striking the Ranger-Barbarian with his Spear.
Kaos steps up pulling out a Light Mace and crushes some of the Skeleton's bones.
Anga hits the mass of bones with a Force Missile.
Mordea moves around the big Skeleton and disrupts a rib or two.
The Hill Giant Skeleton strikes Ulfgard again with its Spear.
Besides recognizing that the Hill Giant Skeleton is wearing a fine suit of chainmail and thus can guess what it will take to penetrate the armor, the Dwarf can estimate how much damage it could take before it falls. Oh...and that it may be able to resist Cold based attacks. But otherwise, Haskyll does not know much else that has not been previously noted. The orb of acid hits its target.
Ragnir moves up and attacks the Skeletal Giant, but misses with his assault.

Ragnir will easily find a bone suitable for a mace or hammer.
Kaos will note that the Broken Spear radiates magic.
The Hill Giant Skeletons had a masterworks suit of chainmail, a masterworks suit of scale mail, two large suits of splint mail and two large suits of banded mail. Also, amongst the other Skeletons were 4 large over-sized Greataxes, one being masterworks, 3 large Greatswords, one of them was masterworks, a pair of large warclubs, a large morningstar, a large unbroken spear and a large masterworks Warhammer.

Anga can you tell what magical properties this spear has? And by the way I think I will take this large Warhammer, unless someone has a better idea. Kaos will hand Anga the spear then pick up the big hammer. As he tests the weight he smiles. Does anyone need this masterworks light mace I think I have found a replacement. Then more to himself and the hammer I think I will call you Bone Crusher.

GM Mazra |

No one is able to identify the Broken Spear, so Mordea carefully moves toward the open cavern to the east, checking for traps along the way, using Stealth in her approach.
Ledges and stairs are carved into the stone walls of this wide-open, high ceilinged natural cavern. Embedded in a fifteen-foot-tall spire of centuries-old bones stands the skeleton of a massive armored warrior. Though its flesh has long since rotted off its frame, the skeleton still stands proud and regal amid the trappings of battle and mounds of gleaming treasure. The skeleton’s battered half- plate and scarred helmet hint at its many battles, and the warlord’s hands are clenched around a massive stone hammer. Beneath the helmet, a thick, round rock has been embedded in one of the skeleton’s otherwise empty eye sockets.
There are ledges around the room 10 feet above the floor. The floor is at the same level as the room with the Hill Giant Skeleton. On the far East side are stairs heading up.
Mordea sees some puppy dogs.

The three must also make a DC 15 Reflex Save or catch fire taking an additional 1d6 of fire damage. If you catch fire you must continue to make a DC 15 Reflex Save each Round or take 1d6 points of fire damage. A made save indicates the fire has extinguished,

Round Two recap
The first Dire Wolf bites at Mordea, but the Rogue manages to barely dodge the Wolf's fangs.
Haskyll does not become a marshmallow over an open flame. He instead provides healing to the crispy Dwarf Wizard.
Ragnir, unable to extinguish himself, creates a volume of water dousing the flames.
Ragnir's damage from the failed Saving Throw: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Ragnir takes 3 more points of damage.
Ulfgard works to extinguish the flames.
Additional Fire Damage Ulfgard if save fails: 1d6 ⇒ 6
The rules concerning "catching on fire" is vague when it comes to actions taken. From a pure interpretation of the rules, I would say that if the DC 15 Reflex Save is made the fire extinguishes itself out. If you take a full round and roll around on the floor, then you get a +4 to the save. So Ulfgard, you would still need to
make a DC 15 Fort save, but you would get a +4 if you roll around on the floor.
Anga rolls around on the floor, but is still on fire.
Additional Fire Damage Anga: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Anga takes 1 more points of fire damage.
The Blonde Half-Orc moves and drinks a potion.
Kaos does not catch on fire. He then steps up to attack the first Dire Wolf but nearly slips on the pooling blood from the fallen Dire Wolf.
Mordea slashes deep into some dog meat. The Dire Wolf lets out a wailing sound.
