FIGHT AT USKROTH'S TOMB.

Ledges and stairs are carved into the stone walls of this wide-open, high-ceilinged natural cavern. Embedded in a fifteen-foot-tall spire of centuries-old bones stands the skeleton of a massive armored warrior. Though its flesh has long since rotted off its frame, the skeleton still stands proud and regal amid the trappings of battle and mounds of gleaming treasure. The skeleton’s battered half-plate and scarred helmet hint at its many battles, and the warlord’s hands are clenched around a massive stone hammer. Beneath the helmet, a thick, round rock has been embedded in one of the skeleton’s otherwise empty eye sockets.

On the Giant Skeleton, Anga detects magic on the skeleton's half-plate and a simple stone blacksmith's hammer. Surrounding the propped up Giant Skeleton are stacks of bones, huge vases, vast open chests with coins, gems, jewelry and other finery (total value 1800gp). Amongst the vases and chests, Anga detects magic on a pair of scrolls, four arrows, a belt and a wand.

There is also a masterwork breastplate, a suit of masterwork splint mail, a masterworks Orc Double-axe, 13 adamantine crossbow bolts. A fist-sized rock is lodged in one of the Giant's eye socket.

On the Half-Orc, Anga finds the following: vials acid (2), alchemist’s fire (2), black adder venom (2 doses), bloodroot (2 doses), blue whinnis, liquid ice (2), oil of taggit, tanglefoot bag, thunderstones (2). The Half-Orc wore a suit of mwk studded leather, mwk cold iron falchion, dagger, light crossbow with 10 bolts, an alchemy crafting kit, antitoxin (2), formula book, mwk thieves’ tools, portable alchemist’s lab, a letter, 37 gp.

Anga detects magic on the Half-Orc's facial tattoos, a faint glow of magic on both an Alchemist alembic and a gold heart-shaped locket.

Constitution check: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 1 - 2 = 9

The Half-Orc is dying.

Looking at the armor Ulfgard shrugs. "Well, I am no good with a combersome armor like that. But about the hammer, it would be a shame to let it waste if we can use it to a better effect! HA. This will again be symbols of rightous might and glorious fury! But what about the others? I think the breastplate would be a fine addition. "


While looking over the armor, Ulfgard nearly jumps as it began to resize to fit a Dwarf while he touches it. Likewise, the blacksmith's hammer resizes when Ulfgard touches it. Ulfgard will notice a symbol on the hammer.

The symbol is that of Minderhal, the smith-lord of Giants.

You reveal the geode to be a spectacular pleochroic variety of tourmaline, the nearest known deposits of which lie in the Mindspin Mountains to the south and west.

You reveal that the geode’s structure is no fluke of nature; the geode’s crystalline valleys and mounds reflect the exact topography of the Mindspin Mountains, and a carved groove along the mountains seems to indicate a trail through the mountain range.

Ragnir I would be careful with magic you are not sure about. I once heard about a halfling who found a magic ring and put it on then before you know it some undead lord was after him.
