This is what I'm talking about. Even the GM hasn't went for days. I can't take a game like this seriously. Just take me off the map guys, I'm done. Also to the GM, please go to the campaign tab and click edit, then scroll down and uncheck all the boxes that say jimibones83 and TruStrike. This will keep it from cluttering up my home page. Dont forget to save, thanx. Good luck to everyone

@GM: Will you go back to the earlier recruitment and take someone from there as a replacement? We had another arcane caster submission, a wizard, I believe?

I do believe we had someone with unrealistic expectations before. Eventually he would've left over something else anyway. Let's move forward as if it didn't happen. Everyone else seems to be okay with the pace. Let's get these goblins killed and see what happens next.
Don't sweat it GM-MK, you can't please all the people all the time.

Well, when raging, you are doing 1d12+4 damage (5-16 hp)
Goblins aren't big, and they aren't tough.
I wouldn't use killing goblins as a basis for being over-powered.
You're doing what barbarians are supposed to do.

That's 1d12+6 when Raging. I'm wielding my axe two handed.
Emilio flexes his muscles, showing off some of the scars and his hardened and toned frame. "What you think?"

"I think those are the muscles of a MAN, and one of pure... explosive intensity" flirty lashes.
But seriously, that's pretty standard for a barbar, and goblins are the most easiest of mincemeat. So that fact they are eruption in gore due to over double or triple health damage is pretty normal. They have 5 to 6 hp, so yeah. *GOBLINS START ERUPTING INTO GORE BOMBS FROM EMILIO*

            Welcome to the team!
I'm Emilio Cross, the half-orc Barbarian that turns anything I touch into pudding.
That's Cat, the cutpurse and slight criminal mastermind or nut case, we don't know.
Lucky Finn other there is the party band-aid and two-faced coin.
Lera's our historian and Indiana Jones Rule 63 cosplayer,
and we have your friendly neighborhood NPC Ruby, who might be my love interest, but we don't know.
Again, welcome to the team!
Read through to see where we are, establish what's what, and help yourself to some goblin pudding! *hands you a bowl of red mush with bone fragments and an eyeball floating in it*
EDIT: Just realized, I'm no longer the only member of the party (PCs) that isn't human!

I'm going to assume the next sequence takes longer than 72 seconds (12 rounds of fatigue).
I'll continue to act tired. I have a few ideas that'll make Emilio really seem like a barbarian in this civilized world.

My move is finally over and internet is back up and flowing at my home. I should be able to read and post a little more than over the last week or so, but mainly still in the evenings.
Glad things are moving along, and welcome to the fold Starfall

            Congrats on the move, Finn.
So internet is down at the dorms on my Job Corps center, so what little cell service I can get and the Wayfinder App are my only hope.
Just realized, we don't know how Starfall feels about how Cat will act due to her drawback. Starfall, Cat has the drawback Hedonistic (I think), and as such is a terrifying flirt. If you want her to tone it back, just say so.

A simple dice game I've used before in-game:
Everyone antes.
Everyone rolls d6 in the open (not hidden), then bets on the next roll, stands firm, or folds/quits.
Everyone who bets rolls another d6 in the open, then bets again, stands firm, or folds/quits.
Continue the cycle, with the ultimate goal being to get to 20 in the fewest rolls possible without going over.
Winner takes the pot.

@Starfall: Lera does not have dark skin. It's olive-toned (like some Eastern Europeans in RL). Unless olive/tanned looks "dark" to Elves. Just for your future reference.

            THE INTERNET IS BACK!!!
Well that fiasco is finally over. Sorry for not replying earlier. Still, at least things are going our way!
And Starfall, if Emilio seems blunt/stupid, he's never been to a "civilized" town before, having lived out in the wilderness with his tribe.
He's also only ever seen Orcs, Humans, and himself as a half-breed, so the idea of someone living well over 100 years and calling themselves "middle-aged" is something of a mystery to him. The long ears and big eyes are also kinda strange.

@Lera I meant no disrespect. Elves come in all shades, as do humans. I was just trying to be descriptive in my narration. If there was any offense I apologize.
@Emilio I realize you are just talking in character. And I'm not middle aged. In elven years I'm in my twenty's. Like twenty four maybe.

@Starfall: Not offended. Just letting you know for future reference is all. It would be strange to keep reading she has dark skin when she doesn't. ;)
There is a description of Lera on her profile page, if that helps.

No offence to the dice players, but this is a little boring. Kinda want to move on with the story, if that's ok with you guys.
I was trying to see if I'd see Allie and her scandalous actions, maybe get some roleplay into it.
If I saw her take the money or figure out she was trying to, I'd hold her still, take the money, and give it back.
Grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 Meets it. Official rules say she's grappled, but GM can say otherwise.
Swipe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 Provokes AoO from Allie, unarmed, as she can't draw a weapon when grappled.
Allie's Unarmed Swing: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 That hits on the nose!
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Emilio's Retaliation Swing: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9Allie has no Dex to AC Swing and a miss!
And that's how that would play out. Maybe.
My original point being this is kinda slow. Perhaps we can have something else happen? Or have someone think they can arm wrestle me or something?

Lera can be ready to move forward on the GM's word. I'm currently fine with the RP opportunity and talking with the nobleman. Just waiting to see if something (or anything) is revealed. At least she's building toward a network of friendly npc allies. ;)

I'm fine with moving forward. I was using the scene as a roleplaying opportunity to establish Allie's personality.
Actually, it would have been entertaining if Emilio had spotted Allie and confronted her. Considering how fickle, and often merciless, the dice-roller application is, I'm sure the opportunity will present itself sooner than later.
Characters should have conflicts. They should argue, get mad at each other, maybe even punch each other's lights out every now and then. They are distinct personalities, with different experiences and worldviews. For me, at least, it makes the story we are collectively telling more believable.

I completely agree to the whole characters and conflicts thing. Maybe when the dice decide to let us we can finally see what happens when the big green guy and blondie butt heads.
EDIT: I completely forgot to mention that August 4th was my birthday.

@Starfall: Lera did ask the nobleman Aldern a similar question about the goblin raid and rolled pretty well on her diplomacy but she got no answer/reply. Hopefully your dip (gather info) reaps something. We, however, might not be able to gather anything in regard to it. GM's call.

Man I hope everything is ok with the GM.
I know there is supposed to be a couple of tropical storms/hurricanes hitting Hawaii or something, and I seriously hope that isn't what happened to GM.
Either way, I hope you stay safe and get your life in order. Good luck, GM.

We have monsoons, but its been relatively light. I am so sorry for the wait, its all finally starting slow down with the car, with life, with the roommate that caused hell. Still kicking at the car somewhat and trying to breathe... I am sorry. I will try to post something back up in a few hours, but my brain is so rattled from this its taking a bit. On the otherside of things... the Advanced Class Guide is nice.

As sad as it is to say, with everything happening, I will not be able to concentrate on this for a long while, and I'm not going to have you sit here and wonder when a post is going to be. So, with a heavy heart, I'm calling this campaign. I don't want to drag you all along. I'm sorry. I don't know when I would be able to start again.

I was really enjoying the game. Thanks to everyone for the great roleplay.
