That brings her to -9 Hagrym as Turvijagal brought her to -1! She turns back into a half-orc unconscious. XP=200 each.

This is the largest chamber in the crayfish tunnels. A four-foot tall turtle shell serving as an altar sits near the far wall. The shell is coated with fatty wax and gooey chum. Oily smoke rises from several viscous candles placed atop the altar. Oils, liquid, juices and other indescribable fluids sit in bowls on the floor and around the altar. An iron box glowing with a soft red radiance sits in the center of the altar among the candles.

well that was closer than I like Looking about the room and then back a the unconscious druid Naomi as "Well boys what are we going to do with her? I can't tell if she is dead, What do you think Hagrym? Is she just one more beast to let go? What do you think Turvijagal should we take a careful look at the trunk?" She then walks over to the turtle table and carefully looks at the trunk. wonder if we can turn the turtle shell into another canoe.

take the orc back, the swamp with a shapeshifter, I would just as soon pass on that after Turvijagal gets done playing with the trunk Naomi uses the wand on him humming a little as she casts. "Stand still Turvijagal, this shouldn't take long."

"The druid's been defeated. I think we need to keep her alive, as there are many unanswered questions....where is the fire? Why did she steal the fire? What sort of enmity does she have with the dwarves? I'd be in favor of taking her back to stand trial for her crimes. An old dwarves trick is to put a suit of metal armor on a Druid. It messes with their powers something fierce."

Aye! She killed many dwarves and kept their ears as trophys. Second it was common practise to display foul persons head as a reminder what happens. If she had killed a dwarf or so, that is one thing, but to defile a dwarven temple, that is nothing a respectable dwarf can tolerate. Also.. Ulfgard is not the nice, flower power, be nice and kiss and all is forgiven type. He is the gruff, pragmatic and traditional type. Also, hard to raise someone with his head missing or reanimate as an undead.

The wet mud will take care of the heat. And as we are travelling along a river, we have loads of water for cooling!"

The potion you identified is resist elements (fire) and the cloak is elvnkind. That would be a yes.

I had no issue with you killing her, just verifying it. I half expected Hagrym to do so. She is basically a cleric of an evil deity so is fair game and to be put to death by my paladins anyway

I was going to question her as I said, but it's no skin off my nose. If she wasn't repentant, he might have been "forced" to execute her before it was all said and done.

My only concern with keeping her alive wasn't about ethics at all. It was all about an extra pay-packet for bringing in a prisoner. But, oh well. Would've been a right pain trying to transport that one all the way back through the swamp anyway.

As Naomi is healing Turvijagal she flinches when she sees Ulfgard kill the druid, returning her attention to Turv, she smiles and says "your welcome" when he says 'thank you'. His ones so polite, what happened to the rest of them?.

As Naomi inspects the druids decapitated remain she picks up the lard-caked mink stole and using prestidigitation she cleans it off thoroughly and smiling wraps it around her neck, smiling she says "What do you think boys," Then turning to Ulfgard she says, "And no Ulfgard, this doesn't mean I want MY head chopped off also! giving him a slight look of consternation. I would have liked to have questioned her, even if we had to turn her over to the dwarves at the temple, funny I though Hagrym would have been the hot headed one.

Naomi takes a quick look around the room. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17.

Satisfied that they have not missed anything she smiles and asks, "How do you think she got it out of the temple and into the trunk? Why don't we attach a chain to it and drag it back to the temple?"

The potion is the same as the other two, the ring is a ring of swimming. There is also a scroll you three.

Once everyone is clear he will use mage hand to lift the lid open a crack. If it doesn't go well will drop the lid shut again.

smart and polite, who'd of believed it. Naomi listened a minute to what Turvijal said, after picturing it in her head she answers "I think that could work, then the turtle shell could be a raft for the torch, good thinking Truvijal. Why don't a couple of you boys turn the shell over and get it ready to leave." I like the idea of clearing this place out. Turning to Jarvis she says "I like the idea of clearing this place out before we leave, I will check the other exit. Who will need the ring of swimming?" Naomi goes to the other side of the large cave and looks around.

I think a low strength character could use it better. As is, I can take ten, if allowed, and not drown. The ones with a Str minus aren't so lucky.

It is a DC 5 unless someone rolls a 1, you are not drowning! Let's just fast forward you all back to the entrance after resting? There is nothing left to explore here. I know this sounds strange, but you might consider giving it to one of the half-elves as they seem to be the ones having issues with swimming in this game, not the dwarves!

It was surprisingly peaceful in the caverns resting, to bad we had to swim back through the tunnels to get out After the group got up, ate a quick bite and carried or towed the turtle shell carrying the flame back to the entrance, climbing the slippery slope and reappearing back in the daylight outside the giant mud tower, Naomi asks the Boys. "Shall we climb aboard our rafts and canoe and float this turtle shell behind us and head beak or do you boys want to explore the swamps more, maybe get more snake and alligator hides?

Muddy and stinking, the normally fastidious Galerio chimes in, "The sooner we can leave this swamp the better. I am getting tired of having to risk death for our supper. Though I must admit it has been tasty."

If you want to just head straight back, it is a three day trip on the rafts. Shandar, the mire is 1200 square miles. Kinda impossible to clear out. You might want to discuss stoppering that decanter of endless water with the dwarves when you get back though!
