The goblins speaks between themselves, in their guttural and small pitched tongue
Ar gunorak getbeth molln!
Selene starts to run up the hill, and half falls, half throws herself down in the muddy ground
A few sling shots pass over her head

dmg Tane: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Another one hit Takeshi's arm
Takeshi dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 2

DM Lil" Eschie |

Sorry, forgot all but Selene were surprised, so Tane is FF, and his Ac being lower, is hit by the crit, taking Crit Dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 1 additional damage.
Initiative rolls after surprise round
Tane Init: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

The four goblins armed with slings take aim again, the two farthest coming closer so they are in range. The two last seem at start to wait, then, seeing Selene down in the mud, charge her, their crude weapons screaming for blood
Will edit the map later as I am at work and can't open the link now
Sling1: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 2 = 4
Sling2: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 2 = 22

Enev, while heavily armored, takes a lucky shot for a sling-or maybe that particular goblin is a sharpshooter!
Baltru best at throwing rocks! Baltru will.. Goblins will... we will... we will rock you!
All goblins, even those charging Selene, defiantly starts clapping their hands above their head, chanting their taunting song to their foes, hoping to get their morale down

Selene Vosmus |

the last two goblins that wanted to charge Selene didnt have a direct line because Tane was in their way. I moved them up to Tane before taking Selene's action.
Selene forges past Tane and one of the dancing goblins to flank one of the vermin and use the other as cover from the sling throwers. Angry that they ignored her she takes her morningstar into her hand.

Tane Norwind |

Tane takes a well placed rock to the head and screams, "Gahhh! Damn you little pests, that HURT!" @7/13
The wound immediately begins to stream blood down the side of his muddy face. Seeing Selene move past him up the hill he calls after her, "Wait, where are you going! Argh!"
Tane grumbles to himself, knowing she can't understand a word he is saying.
Tane sighs and looks at the goblin in front of him, "Get outta my way!" He swings his longsword, arcing it down towards the small creature but his swing isn't as accurate as he'd like it to be as the blood from his wound blurs his vision.
1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 = 14

Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi sees the dire need for some magical aid, and starts weaving his own peculiar brand of magic. Everyone around him feels emboldened, as if they can see where their weapons should strike a second before they themselves realise it.
Bardic performance (+1 atk/dmg), round 1

Enev Faborn |

I haven't see the map, so I got no idea how are we positioned
Enev will move to the closer goblin and attack,
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 3) + 2 = 10 <-- Edited

Selene Vosmus |

Essa Dwae |

Essa hears the sounds of the goblins chanting and the start of the battle. "Roguk follow!" She starts running up the path towards the fight. With a x2 run and double move up the path I placed her and Roguk where they would end their moves, that is all they can accomplish this round. The move will be less if the path is too crappy for a x2 run.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Sorry, lots of work yesterday. Will edit the map tonight at home
Enev kills a goblin, thrusting his sword into it's opponent's belly.
Takeshi's music inspire you to great deeds, and you run to fight with confident hearts. Besides, it's way better than hearing the goblins singing out of tune and out of rythm.
The four goblins holding slings take aim again, and send a barrage of little rocks flying
Sling1: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 4 - 2 = 21
Sling2: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 - 2 = 5
Sling3: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 2 = 8
Sling4: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 - 2 = 16
Targets 1 Tane; 2 Takeshi 3 Enev 4 Selene 5 Nabu 6 Essa (out of range, -2 to hit)
sling1 target: 1d6 ⇒ 4
sling 4 target: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Sling 1 dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 2
sling4 dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Selene, still prone on the ground, got some mud in her face as a stone lands dangerously close to her. Another rock to Tane- soon to be nickname "the goblins favorite target"- is stopped by his shield
I know there is still one goblin with hand to hand weapon to play, but as I can't see the map, I can't see who it can strike...Will do it tonight too!

DM Lil" Eschie |

Thankies for the head up!^^
The goblin sees in Selene an easy target-easier than Enev or Tane, at least!- and plunges his sword towards her
Attack, prone Selene: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 4 = 12
dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 3
But the girl rolls out of harm, and the short blade hits only the muddy soil
Now everyone can play. Remember Takeshi +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls

Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi continues to hold his performance going but silently humming a tune.. He focusses on his own bow and tries to take out the slinger at the back. He has a hard time however, as the goblin to his right enerves him.
1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 9

Tane Norwind |

After the rock smacks into his sheild, Tane calls out loudly. "I'm really getting tired of being pelted by stones!" Frustrated, Tane takes a huge swing at the goblin but slips on a patch of mud and isn't able to make contact with the creature before him.
Attack!: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 12

Selene Vosmus |

CMB Trip vs Melee goblin CMD: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Success I hope, and I took +1 for having melee high ground
Selene stands up provokes aoo and lets loose a fierce battle cry as she raises her right leg up and stomps on the pesky goblin that attacked her provokes aoo driving him down into the mud.
Tane, you might have hit since he is prone...
If Enev kills the melee goblin before Selene can act, she stands up and gives a fierce battle cry to demolize the remaining goblins, [the roll above is the same bonus and probably means they are shaken for 3 rounds given a DC10].

DM Lil" Eschie |

AoO on Selene standing up: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16Dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Selene plans backfire a little, as the goblin's filthy blade leaves a gash on her left leg. Nevertheless, she is able to get the goblin flat on his back, leaving him exposed to Tane's own attack. The warrior's weapon kills the small dirty humanoid
Essa kills one of the slingstone thrower but its companions has time enough to takes its blade out
Sling1 Gob killed, Sling2 in close combat mode
In a final run, Groyshna manages to close the distance with a third goblin, but the massive half orc can't strike yet
Sling3 Gob in close combat
Ah Merah position herself too
Just cause I love the sound of virtual dice rolling. No reason to worry at all because of a DC 12 roll.: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
New round!
The last goblin having a sling use it to throw a stone at Selene
eat my stone!: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 - 2 = 11dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Groyshna and its goblin fight
Attack on Groyshna: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 1
And Essa is the intended victim of a vicious attack
Attack on Essa: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Blood starts to flow in the mud, the rain doesn't cease...
What could be worse?
Takeshi, do you continue to Inspire?

Essa Dwae |

Essa looks down at the cut she received from the goblin. It smarted pretty badly, the blood flowed down her leg. The adrenaline in her sort of overpowered the pain she would feel after the fight, and the soreness the wound would cause for a few days. She raised her club overhead and pummeled at her diminutive foe.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10 Probably a miss
Roguk 5' moves forward and launches into an assault on the creature as well.
Claw Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12
Claw Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12

Claw: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
Bite: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4

Tane Norwind |

As the goblin falls before him, Tane sees the goblins slash Selenes leg up ahead. No!
"Selene!"
Tane raises his sword and charges ahead, closing the gap between him and the goblin. -2 AC for charge
1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 10
1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6
I'm glad I'm saving all of my high rolls for the harder ones later...

Selene Vosmus |

Selene steps to the side to flank the goblin with Tane before she attacks from higher ground...
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
to hit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
...but a slight misstep broke her stride and throws her off balance.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Groyshna axe, Inspire, Bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 17
Axe 2H dmg, Inspire: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13
Groyshna hits the goblins in a flash of blood
Ah merah throw two chakram in quick succession, but none of them hit,the first one whizzing dangerously close of Essa's face, cutting slightly her cheek. Ah Merah is really pale, even if no real damage is done...
Ah Mera chakram, Inspire, Bless, rain: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 6

DM Lil" Eschie |

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla looked up and growled then saw Nabu just laying on the ground and quickly covered the distance to grab him and drag him back to her brother activating her lotus shield as soon as she got the chance.
'Nice little rat faced dog. Go away. I don't know if I have any sausages left but I need to get them together first and protect them. If it comes then I will take the actions I need too. It may still be calm.'
"Essa, the goblin dog got off its leash!!!" She yells to give them a heads up.

Enev Faborn |

Enev will attack these goblins,
"Stop messing with us" Enev shouts as he swings his blade just like Tane taught him.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Dmg: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Tane didn't teach me too well.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Oops, my bad, Selene. There's no Bless spell involved. That doesnt change anything, as Groyshna hit and killed the goblin, and Ah Mera missed.
Seeing how the battle turn, the last two goblins start to run away.
........................................................................
The goblin dog doesn't move, licking his dirty muzzle and barking at Malya, sniffing the ground, the cut rope dangling from his "neck"

Essa Dwae |

Did Roguk's bite hit the goblin? Also is it our turn again? If so...
Essa yelps as Ah'Mera's chakram whizzes by and a small locket of hair is clipped off and falls to the ground almost in slow motion, time seems to stand still as the raindrops drip from her and comabt wheels about her, blood dripping from her thigh where the goblin opened a small wound.
As time seems to roll back to normal, Essa spins about and brings her fiery club around in an arc.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 = 9
Essa moves a few feet to the side of the goblin if the attack doesn't drop it.
Roguk, used to smashing goblins like ragdolls will also attack.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 = 19
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 = 19
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 = 19
Claw Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
Claw Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5
Bite Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 = 6

Selene Vosmus |

Selene reset her stance and swings high and wide,
Attacking the freightened goblin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Attacking the freightened goblin: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 That'll hurt
Critical Threat Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 unsuccessful
Her attack with the morningstar connects- PPPFFLT!!!
"Vakinabo!"
After she is done with the goblin she points over at the goblin dog and starts down the hill at the sight of the dog returning.

Tane Norwind |

Tane watches Enev's swing come up short. He shouts, "Keep your grip firm, don't let it slip in this rain!"
He pivots in time to see Selene obliterate a goblin with the morningstar. He feels a sense of pride and mutters
"Atta-girl!" Just like I taught her!
With the goblins all down, the only thing left is the persistent barking of the goblin dogs. When Selene points and takes off at the goblin dog Tane follows her and begins to run along side her. When he is about on pace wit her, directly on her left running stride for stride he looks over and smirks at her. "You know, this is a really good look for you! I could get used to it!"
Knowing she can't understand him and that he still hadn't put his back into it, he pushes on past her towards the goblin dog with his sword at the ready.

Selene Vosmus |

As the rain strikes Selene's face and she moves to intercept the goblin dog, bits of goblin remains and blood wash off her face. She notices Tane looking and talking gibberish to her again as he passes her, "Xukosaku? Xukono nasale Am le'elku kile'kafakusale'ka noelki?"
What's happened to Tane, he is fighting distracted and can barely swing his sword. At least he can help carry Steve's corpse back to town now.

Selene Vosmus |

Doubling her efforts to be nearer to the dog, Selene take a moment to take account for the unconscious and the those watching over them with a glance. Seeing them unharmed brings a different kind of relief, but there was still more that had to be done- Steve had to be retrieved, and the goblin dog had to be put down.
Selene continues toward the goblin dog, Essa's magic wear is going to wear off and permit allow the rabid dog to continue its hostilities.

DM Lil" Eschie |

The magic Malya used to strenghten your defense fades away. The last goblin dog seems impatient and nervous, barking at Selene as she approaches, but doesn't do anything hostile.
Meanwhile, Ah Mera starts grumbling about her awkward throw, and walks to the druidess's side, grabbing her wrist.
I'm sorry, Essa. The rain must have get my weapon more slippery than I thought. I apologise....It shouldn't have happened.
Groyshna asks Enev and Takeshi
Want me to search the goblins corpses?

Selene Vosmus |

With one swift motion Selene walks up to the dog and without hessitation strikes out at the dog with her morningstar hoping to kill it quickly and painlessly.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Selene stands over the corpse of the dog looking down on it in the rain. She takes a deep breath and exhales a sigh.
"Groyshna help Ah'Mera with the stretcher, Enev and Takashi search the goblins for anything handy or valuable." Selene's voice is firm yet kind as she walks over to Nabu (the guy she knocked out at the crumbled tower) and hoists him up and over her shoulders before continuing on to pick up Steve and return home, hopefully without further incident.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Selene1 Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Selene2 Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Gob Dog Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
The dog tried to bite Selene when she came close, but in a blurring motion, the young woman dodges the incoming attack, and crushes the mandy dog's skull with her morningstar
Selene, I'd appreciate if you don't act too quick, even if I now you are an Oracle of Time. Your foes can try get Initiative and to counter attack, you know.

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla seeing what Selene is doing but to late curses softly. "Damnit all to hell. Can she not let things go."
Looking back at the others she would motion for them to hurry as she puts on her back pack again and stands. Watching Selene pick up Nabu and take off.
"Selene, why don't you wait and let the others get back to us and collect up as a group. You are to busy rushing off you are going to get yourself and others hurt. It doesn't help when you get excited we can't understand a word you say." Mayla says as she grabs the end of her brother's stretcher and waits for the next person to get to her.
"We move as a group, we are safer." Once Groyshna and the others return to them she would look at them.
"Thank you all for your help. Let's get moving. Hopefully we can get home with less incidents."

Selene Vosmus |

"What? I'm the one rushing off and getting others hurt? It was you and Groyshna that wanted to split up and fight alone in the first place!" Selene snaps, obviously frustrated at Malya's comment.
"But now you want to stick together for safety so you can snipe at me about being in too much of a hurry? Don't put this on me. I get that your brother tried to use you as a hostage, and is the reason Steve is dead, but your anger needs to refocus- we are not more than a couple hours from home and aid has come to us. The gods favor us, so let's not squander what energy we have left on fighting anymore... please. I'm not moving very fast carrying Nabu, and I'm not going anywhere without everyone else. I can't even find my way home alone, but even if I could, I'd still stay with all of you."

Malya Vardigan |

"We were going to buy time, that was it. So we could continue moving. Instead of putting the sick and injured on the wet ground. I was talking about you walking off carrying Nabu before they had finished doing what you DEMANDED. You didn't ask you demanded. We wouldn't be in such a bind either if you had kept a calm head and not attacked Nabu. Then we would only have my brother to worry about." Her voice was calm.
"Secondly, I was not saying these things out of anger. Just practicality. You rush off without a word. Or you demand certain things happen. You don't ask. You expect everyone to do what you want. Even when we don't understand you. And that is saying something coming from me considering everyone assumes that I am just like every other Vardigan and do the same." She says simply and waits for the others to come to them.

GM ShadowLord |

Selene puts the dog down before Tane could even take a swing at it. When he catches up he admires her work and nods several times, catching his breath after his brief run around the valley. He interjects himself into the middle of the conversation.
"Well done! I see you retained those lessons after all!"
Clearly oblivious to the conversation with Selene or their rather distraught situation he looks over at Malya and waves, "Hey there Malya. You ok? How's the adventure been?"
Tane looks around and squints his eyes, "Hey, where's Steve? He was one of the ones who went with you, right? Looks like I need to pay up."
Tane raises his voice, "Hey STEVE!"

Malya Vardigan |

"Steve is dead Tane. We are on our way to pick up his body and return to the village. He didn't leave with this group." Mayla's voice conveyed her sadness at this fact.
"It is why I am with the group."
