Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi nods as the healing magic takes hold.
"There, we have arrived. Now to find someone to massage my muscles back into shape. Won't be much use otherwise, becoming lame and all."

Essa Dwae |

Laying Nabu gently on the ground and stepping back as Sir Dramott ministers to the wounded, Essa feels a bit relieved. Much more is to come out of all of this, but at least the process has begun. Munching on some dried fruit, and feeding some nuts to Roguk, the two of them sit on the ground off to the side. Back in town, she was again just Essa the wild girl. The group didn't need a tracker or someone familiar with the wilds any more. Essa scooched off into the shadows and laid back in the soaked grass and closed her eyes briefly for just a minute. Once Prasst arrived there would be healing but then many questions.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Nabu tries to stand, dizzily, and sits back on the ground. He sudenly looks at Selene, with a mix of anger and fear, pointing an accusing finger to her
WHY did you hit me? I wasn't doing anything wrong!
He realises where he is, and starts to panick
What? Kassen? Why did you bring me here? You should have killed me! Why do you want to ashame me before I die? I told YOU I didn't want to come back!
He half stands, wanting obviously to run away, slips in the mud, tries to rise again.

Essa Dwae |

Essa is roused from her brief moment of respite by Nabu's outburst. She watches it unfold with some sadness, although not much empathy. He was party to the killing even if he wasn't primarily responsible. He should face punishment and shame if that is due.

Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi is tired.
Takeshi is hungry.
Takeshi is sleepy.
Takeshi is wet.
Takeshi is filthy.
"Now you listen to me, you little s&&*stain. I have had it with you. You had better sit down and let these people help you, or I swear even Gorum himself would not be able to stop me from kicking you in the groin until you become a woman. An ugly woman at that!"
He looks around, and suddenly realises he was shouting quite loudly.
He steps back a little, takes his flute and starts whistling a song to help release his anger in a less offensive way.

I'll assume he won't be able to use diplomacy? :P
If, of course, he can.

Enev Faborn |

Enev has been silent all this time, with a sad face. When Sir Drammot talks to him and he hears his name,
"Uh...Oh--what? Oh yes, he will help..." He snaps out of his thoughts and answers hastily.
He looks around and stares at Takeshi and Nabu, "We made it back safe, we all should be glad. You are here now and we will all face the consequences of our actions. That is the meaning of all this quest, right? To mature and become adults..." He stops for a second and laughs "..and we didn't event light the lantern. Such a simple task." When he finishes, he sits down on the floor and removes some of his equipment to feel relieved of the weight.

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla moved to Nabu putting herself next to him and holds out a hand to help him up as he slips. "Nabu, calm down. We brought you here to heal your wounds. We couldn't do it so we brought you here. Groyshna is even here with us so calm yourself. We were attacked by more goblins and their dogs while you were knocked out. Please, I don't want you to get hurt any more." She looked at him imploringly. "Remember what we were speaking of before? Before my brother tried to take me hostage." Malya's voice was as calm as she can make it and her look sincere.
"We are not here to shame you. That was never my intention. I just wanted you to do what is right by your own choice. My brother caused many hasty reactions and you were a victim of it. I apologize for that. It is my fault. I didn't think there was time to warn you all and reacted accordingly. But you were injured and we knew we couldn't heal you, and we would not leave you to die. You don't deserve to die so please, don't say things like that. There has already been enough death."

Selene Vosmus |

"I'm sorry I knocked you out Nabu, I really am. The situation was not improving and I made a bad call in thinking you were resisting and in league with Fadj's plans. You were the first to shed a tear of regret at what happened to Steve, but the secret you shared with me, before I wronged you, is so important to your well being and Groyshna's that we had to bring you back. You needed to stay alive so you could share your version of events. I hope you choose to speak your truth, for everyone's sake and especially your own. Please be brave, and do the right thing, I'm begging you. There is no shame in doing what is right and good and it is not too late for you. Malya's right, don't wish for death when there has been too much already."

DM Lil" Eschie |

He mumbles...
Yeah.. tell that to the good people of Kassen when they'll ask to hang me...
Groyshna comes and offers his hand, wordlessly, to help Nabu to stand again. Nabu takes the hand. You can see tears freely running down his cheeks.
As you turn your faces away to offer Nabu some privacy, you spot Borcik coming back running and panting, and after a few seconds catching his breath, he says
Father Prasst is opening the temple for you.You are to meet him there.
Sir Darmott nods
Well done, lad. Now get back into the guard's house, take a breath, keep close to the fire. I'll stand guard for you for half an hour. Then I'll go to the temple myself, with the mayor.

Tane Norwind |

Tane keeps to himself, this is not his place to speak. He simply moves along with the others towards the temple. Halfway there he moves alongside of Selene and puts a hand on her shoulder. "It's going to be ok. Father Prasst is going to listen to what happened and he'll work everything out, he always does."
Tane nods to himself as he tries to convince himself of the words he has just spoken, trying hard to keep doubt from appearing on his face.

Takeshi Kitano |

There was an intimidate before, was that not good enough? :)

Malya Vardigan |

Try number four to post
Malya would turn to Nabu and Groyshna as the young guard approaches and she pulls out a wet handkerchief and wrings it out before handing it to Nabu. Mayla tried to manage a smile while everyone was distracted.
"Let's get going. It will be alright Nabu." She said softly looking at him. "I don't know what you told Selene so I cant add it to my accounting of events but when that time comes please, don't hesitate to speak up. Even if it is something I don't want to hear." She would smile weakly and as they headed towards the temple she would move to her brother checking on him also.
Malya felt drained by the day. This had been an emotional rollercoaster and would only get worse.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Seeing the little town of Kassen so calm and peaceful in the night after all you've been through during the day is quite a shock, or at least a sharp contrast.
You soon arrive to the church, and enter the cold place quickly, feeling more or less at home.
Father Prasst sighs when he sees you cut and bruised, with muddy and torn clothes.
Ol'Deadeye, welcome our children into your home and soothe their pains. Their wounds are mine, and I shed a tear for each of theses. Make a circle and hold each other's hands while the power of Erastil run...
When you're ready- Ah Merah having to trade places with Groyshna as he stubbornly refuses to hold Fadj's hand-the priest calls upon Erastil's power, and arrows of golden energy glide from the center of the circle
channelling: 1d6 ⇒ 6
channelling: 1d6 ⇒ 6
channelling: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Behold the power of the community! How strong you feel, drawing from each other's strenghts! Such are Erastil's wise teachings. Such is the truth.
After curing your wounds, Father Prasst gives a more relaxed smile, and pats Enev's head without even noticing.
Fadj regains conciousness, glancing hatefully at his sister.
His wounds, which were the more serious, are cured, but his back will probably never be the same, looking slightly twisted, his shoulders not on the same level.
Everyone is of course back to full health

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla felt some comfort as the small wound she bore from her brother quit stinging. The weight and scar in her heart would never leave her though. When her eyes rose to meet Fadj's, she saw the hate he bore her and she felt another scar.
Holding his gaze she didn't look away her expression surprisingly calm. Mayhap, she was just to tired to even show emotion any more. Seeing his back twisted, his shoulder's not on the same level, she felt another weight added to her heart.
Looking at the assembled soaked group she would look around for blankets and the like and start passing them out and looked at Father Prasst.
"We will need my parents and any family of Steve's to also be present when the tale is recounted. Is that possible? Also, some dry clothes for us all?" She asked softly even as she made sure everyone else was tended to and at least had a warm blanket. Moving to Essa she would put a hand on hers and leans over asking softly.
"I have more than enough clothes if you need some extra. The least I can do for all the help you have given to me today."

Essa Dwae |

Essa felt the little gouge in her leg heal over. The throbbing disappeared even though it was a fairly small scuff. Even a splinter is annoying. She looked at Fadj and his twisted back, he would never fight again very well. At first she felt responsible, then realized that no, it was Fadj that was responsible for his own fate.
Her thoughts were thankfully interrupted by Malya. "Oh thank you, no I don't really need any clothes. My shirt will dry once its by the fire. It was kind of you to offer." Her damp hide shirt hung heavily on her, but she hadn't even noticed it. "I ... probably need a bath though more than anything if I am to face the people of the town. I already look a fright." Some sort of strange fear crept into her. Why she felt nervous about large crowds she wasn't sure. She shuffled over to Roguk snoozing in the corner and ruffled his fur. Everyone seemed solemn, but for how long.

Selene Vosmus |

Before leaving Darmott
Selene takes Darmott off to the side a moment as the others head to the toward the temple. "Sir Darmott, lend me your ear a moment. Today's events were brutal and trying for us, but the physical toll has been the least of our worries. I have both reason and admission to the act, from the perpetrators themselves, that Steve was held against his will and beaten before his head was smashed on a rock and left to die. I don't know if any trial will be held this evening or not, but Groyshna, Nabu, and Fadj should be held under watch until such a time comes, especially Fadj, the one that I believe carries the majority of the blame for Steve's death." Selene holds a finger up to her mouth to silence any immediate or loud response.
"We are going to head to the temple and rest up, once you join us with the Mayor, I implore you to make arrangements to have a place to hold the three of them until the community decides what is best for them. Of course, this is entirely up to you, but all three of them are flight risks. They were running deep into the woods attempting to flee capture when we caught up to them and then Fadj even tried to take his own sister hostage in an attempt to escape. Please don't treat them poorly; the circumstances behind Steve's death is on Fadj's hands, but the other two blame themselves entirely for not stopping it from happening."
Temple of Errastil
Selene keeps herself between the door and Groyshna, Nabu, and especially Fadj to improve the difficulty of any last ditch attempts at fleeing. More tense now it seems, Selene knows that the end seems to be nearer now than ever- the risks greater too. Selene's morningstar stays in her shield hand, ready in case the situation erupts into another physical conflict.
"Father Prasst, Malya requests these people because Steve was killed not by exposure, but by actions of these three; Groyshna, Nabu, and Fadj. Malya plans to reveal her version of the story for everyone to behold and so that this community can begin the process of dealing with this tragedy. I have reason to believe that while all three carry a degree of responsibility in Steve's fate, Fadj was the one that carried enough malice in his heart to make the final move to end Steve's life. This is all information we gleaned from questioning them when we found them. I believe after hearing Malya's summary, the three of them should each be allowed to speak their version of events and add whatever details they find important. Nabu in particular, in spite of the shame and regret he is feeling, even up to now, witnessed a key moment in the event that resulted in Steve's death which I think is important to at least discuss. If Nabu abandons sharing what he saw, having heard what he said and then sharing it with all the others before the goblin dog attack, I will speak for his behalf."

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla stiffened slightly at Selene's words. Fighting back the urge to say something she just looked at Nabu. Part of her still didn't trust Selene to speak the full truth. Or in some way not twist it. Taking a deep breath she looked at Essa.
"We all look a fright Essa. And you do need try ones while yours dry out. Or you could get sick. But yes, a bath sounds heavenly right now." She looked at the others to see if they had anything to add onto what Selene said.
After all she was going to wait until everyone was gathered to make the announcements. After all, they could see Steve was dead.

DM Lil" Eschie |

The older man nods slightly to Selene before walking towards the mayor's house
At the church, Father Prasst tries to calm down things
Please, Selene. I don't know you well, not as well as the good Enev right here, but I've heard you are a young woman of wisdom. A little quick to talk or act, but well meaning. So use your wisdom and don't put words in other people's mouth. It has been a long and hard day for each of you.Tomorrow, or in the following days, everyone one will be asked to say his or her piece. Those who know will have to say, those who know nothing will have to stay silent. May I remind you, all of you, that this is not only a place of worship, but a place of peace and harmony too? It's the soul of Kassen.
He sighs and continues
A man is dead today. Not only a man, but one of ours, a young fellow named Steve Aumbrey- even if he prefered the "Black Mage" moniker- who grew among us. His death in itself, whatever the cause, is a tragic event. By what I saw from your wounds tonight, some of you could have died today too. Think about that, and be, if not happy to be still alive, at least merciful to each other: have you not suffered enough today? Have you not suffered more today that in all the previous days of your short lives?
Father Prasst looks at each of you in turn, right in the eyes. Even Fadj lowers his head after a few seconds, keeping silent.

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla looks at Father Prasst thankfully before nodding solemnly to his second statements. Her original intention in calling her own family and Steve's was to let her family know Fadj had returned with her and suffered an injury. Steve's....well to inform them of his death. She remained quiet though because it didn't need to be said.
Setting her own blanket aside she would take off the cloak she was wearing and hands it to Ah'Mera. "Thank you for letting me wear it for the last bit. It helped warm me." Smiles softly and would move to her brother and would make sure her cloak was off of him and a new dry blanket was on him. He may glare at her hatefully but he was still her brother and she would care for him.
Standing she would see if anyone else needed anything and moved to Groyshna and Nabu.
"I do not know where you will spend the night but if you wish I can spend it with you if you are staying here in the temple."

Selene Vosmus |

Selene is surprised by the choice of words from Prasst- She pauses a moment, regains her senses and sets to removing the lantern from her satchel. She places it down on top of a cabinet as she slowly walks away just outside of the temple where she awaits Darmotts arrival before she retires for the day.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Sir Darmott and the mayor Uptal arrives at the church, walking as quick as possible. Darmott holds a lantern high to light the path. He says something to the mayor before he enters the church
Won't you mind getting inside, Selene? No need to get any more colder and wetter than you are.
says the captain of the guards, before removing his cape to put it on the young woman shoulders
This won't be long, hopefully.
The door of the church stays half opened, and Selene can hear the mayor talking
... and now you're all back and Steve is dead. Now, Fadj, Groyshna and Nabu, you will follow Sir Darmott, and we'll find a place to keep you for the rest of the night. Judgment will come soon, and I'm afraid it might be harsh. You're back to be judged, even if some of you resisted or were unconsious, and that might be a good point for you. For the rest of you, Enev, Takeshi, Malya, Selene,Ah Merah,Essa even Tane, I want to thank you for doing more than was asked from you. You should go back to your respective homes, and get into a warm bed.

Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi bows, smiles at Essa and walks off...
He could sure use the night's rest.

Enev Faborn |

Enev greets the Father with a sad face but after his words he feels relieved,
"Thanks Father, your words seem to have calmed everyone. I hope everything works out." Enev pauses for a second, "They are not bad, I know, they were just blinded by their feelings..." He scratches his wild and wet hair and put his helmet on,
"I'll go home now and get some rest...I will come early in the morning to thank and pray to Erastil, he blessed our journey." Enev says goodbye to everyone before going to his small home to rest.
The feeling of removing his armor, pulling his boots and feel the warm in his feet, hot milk and a comfty bed,
What a journey...Please Erastil, enlight everyone for good judge...
He closes his eyes and falls in deep sleep...snoring.

Tane Norwind |

Tane watches Selene set down the lantern and leave quietly. He considers approaching her to console her, but he should talk to Father Prasst first.
Tane quickly approaches Father Prasst and speaks in a hushed whisper. "I just wanted to say that I hope you are not upset that I interfered with their special mission to retrieve the light for the lantern. I, I accidentally ran into them while I was out hunting today and offered my assistance. I hope I've not upset anyone."
After Prasst responds to him, Tane quickly makes his way to catch up with Selene. Jogging after her he calls out, "Selene! Hold up"

Selene Vosmus |

At Sir Darmott's request Selene is halfway returned when Tane finds her.
She looks up, "Yes, Tane?" she asks, pulling a stray hair away from her face. Her orange eyes rapidly shifting between either of Tane's eyes; it is obvious that her mind is still alert and aware despite her body being tired and weary.

Essa Dwae |

Essa stands to the side once the elders come and speak to everyone. When people start to head off to their homes, she too leaves and taking Roguk in tow, they wander off into the night. Finding a secluded spot under some trees somewhere, Essa sets down her pack and pulls out her bedroll and blanket. Forgetting she used her hammock as stretcher earlier, she just lays her roll on the ground and climbs in, with Roguk curled nearby. She lay there for a while. So much happened in one day...

DM Lil" Eschie |

Father Prasst answers to Tane
How could I blame you, son of Kassen? You were at the right place, at the right time, and you've done everything you could to help your folks. Maybe they will go to the Crypt, but not tomorrow.
The priest smiles as he watches Tane then running toward Selene
Bless Erastil.. Maybe these two will help building the strenght of our little town in unexpected ways.
Sir Darmott speaks to Malya
I'm afraid I can't leave you with Groyshna, Nabu ..and your brother. They will spend the night in Ol" Gadrish barn. Not very confortable, I'm sorry for that, but it's a sturdy place. A warm meal will be given to them of course, and some bedrolls. Do you want me to come with you to your home, as you'll have to explain things to your father? Or do you prefer to go by yourself? Maybe Ah Merah will go with you?

Tane Norwind |

The fighter smiles at Father Prasst's words, grateful to not receive a verbal lashing for involving himself in business he didn't belong in. His mind immediately begins to wander at the possibilities.
Perhaps they will let me go this time?
Before he can drift off on that fantasy he thanks the priest and takes off after Selene. He catches up with her and stands before her huffing out of breath for a second. "H-HHey... I just ... wanted to say ... Nice job with those goblins today. You really were..."
Come on Tane, what are you doing?!
Tane closes his eyes and shakes his head. "No, that's not what I wanted to say."
He opens his eyes and blows out a deep breath and retries. "What I meant to say is that despite things being so bleak right now and, and all the tension that is floating in the air between everyone. I'm, uh, here if you wanted to talk about it or you know. Just wanted to think about something else for awhile. Or something like that"
Tane shrugs and wipes some of the hair out of his face. He looks down at the ground, avoiding her gaze directly.

Selene Vosmus |

"Or did you mean you and Essa; what's the deal between you two? Did you two have some sort of 'falling out' recently?" asking with a teasing wink.
Selene quickly dismisses her prying curiosity by rolling her eyes, and interrupting herself and giving Tane a friendly shoulder push, "Sorry, that's none of my business. Where are you staying tonight? I don't mean to impose myself, but Essa is headed off to Takashi's, Ah'Mera's to probably Malya's and Enev to his shorter home. If it is too inconvenient... otherwise I suppose I could actually stay at the local inn for the night- there were quite a few goblin spoils from today."

Essa Dwae |

Essa: You not coming with Takeshi? Or simply forgot? :)
--
Essa never agreed to anything, and may have forgotten as well. Also I don't recall seeing a response to her reply. She is mostly just oblivious and assumes she will sleep outside, which is perfectly normal and acceptable for her anyhow.

Tane Norwind |

Tane nods in response to her comment about Malya. "Yeah, the thing with Malya. It seems like you two were on a little bit of heated ground and there was some frustration that was just below the surface." He shrugs and adds, "Maybe I'm just reading too much into it I guess. I know you all had a really hard day and I can't begin to understand the pressure that must have added to all of you. I uh, wasn't trying to pry into it. I just wanted to make sure that you were, uh, you know, doing ok."
He forces a small meek smile that quickly fades when he brings up Essa. Tane never manages a response before she pushes his shoulder and changes the subject.
Opportunity to shine Tane, make it happen man!
Tane forces his posture to be slightly taller. He nods several times and says, "Right, yeah I was going to ask you about that. I've, I've got a room. Sure, definitely you can come to my place. No reason for you to head to the inn."
Tane looks over Selene and adds, "Yeah, we should get you out of those clothes--"
Realizing that his words are not exactly poetic Tane falters.
Nonono. You Idiot!
He begins to blush and he stutters on his next words as he becomes tongue tied. Tripping over his words he tries to backpedal but only succeeding in digging a deeper hole. "Nono, I mean, you're wet. And Dirty. Wet-Wet clothes. I didn't mean I wanted to see you out of your clothes. Nnnnnot, not that there is something wrong with you. Or anything."
He clears his throat, "I uh, so the goblin spoils, you were saying?"
Tane swallows hard, hoping his face isn't as red as he believes it is.

Malya Vardigan |

Looking at them all she looks to Sir Darmott. "I was thinking I would explain the series of events for today as they unfolded but it seems no one wishes to hear it at the moment. Will we be speaking at all with those to pass judgement or recounting what happened today to anyone?"
'I am surprised they are not wishing to hear anything while things are fresh on our minds. It would be the best time I would think to get an initial picture. Then let us rest before getting greater detail.'
Mayla's voice was soft as she considered the options provided carefully. "I will be here a little longer but right now I would like to walk on my own I think to clear my head and collect myself. But, Ah'Mera can come with me. I need to go fetch some clothes. I want to make sure Essa has some dry ones. Same for you Ah'Mera if you need some. I should ask Selene also if she is still around. Can I also pick up dry clothes for my brother, Groyshna and Nabu? I don't want them to be soaked to the bone either and they could get sick."
Mayla felt tense and tired. There were so many things to get done and she wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of first though.

DM Lil" Eschie |

Mayor Uptal answers Malya
The reason I'm not asking anything yet-and I hope you will understand them, Malya Vardigan- is that emotions are running high tonight. We need to know the facts, and not people throwing insults at each other, or even having hard feelings towards each other, after all they have done, all they have gone through. Maybe giving you-everyone of you- some rest is my way to amend your trials and sufferings. It was supposed to be a bonding moment for our youth, not a rescue mission or .... or anything you could call this chase of young men by other young men...and women."
He sighs, then smiles to Malya
Ah, Malya, you have an heart of gold. I hope your father know your qualities.I've heard little of you over the past few years, but the little I've heard was only good things and praises. I'd like to say the same about your brother, unfortunatly. I hope your old man won't be too much angry, for what I know Fadj was quite his favorite... I'll arrange things with Sir Dramott, and a guard will be at your house to carry the dry clothes soon. Don't forget to have some rest for yourself, sweetheart.

Selene Vosmus |

Half questioningly Selene thanks Tane for the shelter for the night. "Er, right. Thank you. Let's get going as soon as I check with Darmott that he didn't need me for anything else."
She walks back into the temple with a purposeful stride.
Selene returns back into the temple meeting room to check with Darmott before turning in for the evening. "Sir Darmott, if there isn't any more need of me I'll be turning in for the evening. Tomorrow morning I'll see to getting any further direction after I've eaten if that's fine? Oh and thank you for your good efforts."

Malya Vardigan |

Looking at Mayor Uptal and gives him a smile that doesn't quite meet her tired eyes. "If he is angry it is okay. I have endured him being angry before. We can only hope that his concern is more on Fadj than me." Mayla didn't say anything more on the matter and turned to Selene.
"Selene, do you need dry clothes? I have enough to spare?" Once she got the answer she would go gather clothes and would deliver them to Selene first. Then to Nabu, Groyshna and Fadj.
Then she would go find Essa, having to call out in the night as she looked for her. She wasn't as adept as Essa at tracking.
When and IF she found her she would smile.
"I brought some warm clothes and an extra blanket. Also I managed to snag an apple I thought you may like." She said with a smile. "I couldn't find anything to be a rain covering though. Sorry for that. I really wanted to thank you for tracking for us. We couldn't have made it through the day without you."
After that she would look around for a moment seeming to collect her thoughts. Looking to Ah'Mera if she was still with her she would smile. "I think I will stay at the temple tonight. Father isn't to happy and I don't feel like dealing with explaining it all to him right now." She would head to the temple having grabbed a couple of extra sets of clothes, blanket and a pillow.
She would head back to the temple expecting to find almost everyone gone considering how long she had been out.
Setting her stuff down she would move to the alter and kneels clasping her hands praying silently to the gods.
Only after a lengthy prayer did she make a bed for the night.

DM Lil" Eschie |

The morning after...
It wasn't an easy night. Fortunatly, you were tired from your travel, and the warm softness of your beds was most welcomed.
Your minds weren't so easy to rest, and goblins of all sorts invaded your dreams... Friends and family turned to be traitors, newcomers were trusted with your lives, and trusted you with their own lives.
The rain has faded away this morning.
Rising from bed.
Washing yourself-with hot water, not that cold rain from yesterday.
Breakfast.
A new day has come.
With new hardships, new trials. Some litteraly.
Is this what becoming adult is all about, you wonder?
You regret growing up so quickly.
The time for innocence, for the absence of responsibilities, will soon become only a cherished memory.
But as long as there is hope in your hearts, your inner child will never totally fade away.
Behind the walls of your homes, you hear people passing by, arguing between themselves in the streets.
Kassen is a small town, and news travel quickly. You fear Nabu, Groyshna and Fadj won't be the only ones to be judged today.

Essa Dwae |

Essa woke before dawn. Her damp hide shirt lay over a branch and her loincloth next to it. She crawled from her bedroll and stretched. She was filthy. She crept down to the river and slipped in and scrubbed most of the filth from herself, the cold water erasing any fogginess in her brain. Alert, she returned to her makeshift camp and donned the dry clothes that Malya had brought her in the night. She chomped on the apple and scattered some nuts for Roguk to busy himself with, while she rolled up her blankets and grabbed her pack. She hummed a little tune to herself, and as the run rose she grabbed her gear and walked to the town center, before most of its inhabitants stirred. A few early risers gave her the normal look she got when she and Roguk came to town. At least the inhabitants knew of the Druidic Circle and while maybe not always agreeing on ideals, considered its druids as allies. She smiled wanly at a few passersby but most shuffled on to their errands ignoring her. She sat down on a bench outside the temple and waited.
Yesterday seemed like a dream, so far away, but still vivid.

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla's dreams were troubled but by the time the morning came she had gotten some sleep. Sitting up looking around she realized from her sleep she was in the temple. Seemed no chores this morning for her. Getting up she would clean up her bed and get changed into new clothes. Combing her hair she would make herself presentable as she sat down and would study her spellbook carefully preparing her spells for the day.
Once that was completed she let yesterday's events flood her mind and she quietly and patiently organized them. Wiping the tear from her eyes when she was done she composed herself and headed out.
Seeing Essa she would move up to her blankets in hand. "Good morning Essa, clothes fit okay?"

Selene Vosmus |

Selene sets out to collect her bedroll to wash it out and then seek out Darmott to find what business he may have for her. If he has nothing for her or doesn't have any new information she heads back to the temple again to meet up with the others.

Essa Dwae |

Having performed her morning rites, deciding that the temple of Erastil was as good a place as any, since he was a deity that the druids respected, she rose just as Malya entered.
"Hi Malya!" Essa gave Malya a bone crushing hug lifting her off her feet. "They are a little snug, but umm, yeah they are great! I have never worn such nice clothes! You are so kind."

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla slept in the temple so she was there. Probably was studying in a corner so unseen.
Laughs at the hug and hugs her back. "I am glad they work. When we have time I could sit down and make alterations so it fits better. I have plenty so I don't mind sharing. And being wet and cold warm clothes are nice."

Tane Norwind |

Tane rises from a restful evening of sleep and fills his stomach before heading to join the rest of the group. He wasn't around when the unfortunate events happened yesterday, but since he was there at the end he felt obliged to report. If nothing else, he could provide moral support for them all.
He walks into the temple and catches the tail end of Essa and Malya embracing. Not immediately seeing Enev or Selene or any other method of support to prevent an assault from Essa, Tane quietly slinks back outside to wait instead.

Takeshi Kitano |

Takeshi didn't sleep well. He tossed and turned all night, and didn't want to get out of bed. He had to however, and this fact didn't help his mood whatsoever.
He went and joined to group, but kept to himself mostly. Not much talking from the otherwise talkative bard, this morning.

DM Lil" Eschie |

You hear, here and there, that the judgment will take place this afternoon, at the Greathall. Mayor Uptal will preside, with a few notables of Kassen. As the town is buzzing with hearsay, it won't be hard to get some info about who will assist the mayor, or what the judgment "should" be.
DC to get information on a Diplomatic roll is decreased by 2 (DC 13, 1d4 hours). As the "Heroes" of Kassen, you can take ten on that roll

Takeshi Kitano |

[spoiler=DM]Takeshi will see if she is interested in talking, or if it's just a friendly "wave and walk away" kinda thing.
"Hey there.. Fancy seeing you here."

Malya Vardigan |

Mayla sees the looks and still greets people with a warm smile making sure it was in her eyes also. It was hard, but then again, Mayla knew it would be. Having even made such a comment to her brother.
Holding her head high despite those looks and the ones of pity she would move amongst the people talking with them trying to get the general vibe on what information was known.
