You guys have the rest of the IG day to do whatever you want. Let me know, however, when you're done doing things, but don't feel rushed. If you're having a good conversation or something, don't necessarily stop. We'll make some story progress on the IG morrow.

Dmitri Mavis |

I was actually planning on milking the level 3 cleric from Almah's caravan but I was just wanting to get above negatives.
Regardless, good ol' Dmitri is still standing there enjoying his time. That said, he's probably going to stand around for a while. I'll post when I'm off work. Good job on MokkNokk, btw.
As for the whole "Holy crap Dmitri almost offed himself" he had his legitimate, albeit twisted reasons. Demon lords are crazy, but let me assure you I didn't do it for some silly game cracking reason. I wouldn't be so uncouth.

Apollo Randasian |

Lol, I have the same intentions as you Dmitri. Get the Cleric to give me a check up, then heal where necessary!

leinathan |

Well, Angmar can heal 2d8+4 if he uses both of his remaining spells, which'll have an average of 13 damage healed (bringing you to -2 hit points). The cleric can channel 3/day which will heal an average of 7 each, for a total of 21.
The caravan will arrive in the morning. The cleric can cast lesser restoration to heal ability damage, but has no capacity to remove disease. You'll have to do that on your own.

Apollo Randasian |

Haha, and it looks like I'll be heading down to Dmitri soon, if my survival of 18 isn't a high enough score to determine the best climate for the egg.

Koritylija |

I don't think so, it's just the weekend so things slow down. I know I have my Fri night TT game, and the weekend is the only time I get to try and knock out some of the work I need to do around the house.
I know both Hatim and I will be at work tomorrow night, so we'll probably be a little more talkative then.

leinathan |

I, for one, am going to be markedly less active over the next few days. I just graduated from high school on Friday, and I'm moving out of my house tomorrow. I packed up my things, including my computer, yesterday, so I won't have easy internet access until I get settled in with my friend and his computer.
I'll try to get to the library tomorrow, though, so as to take care of things you may need from me.
And remember, Apollo visits his girlfriend on the weekend and she kind of monopolizes his time.

leinathan |

Oh, nothing huge. I'm staying in town to spend time with my oldest friend (visiting from North Carolina [I'm in Washington]) and my girlfriend. I'm just planning on learning how to deal with myself.
Oh, I am finally getting a drivers' license soon, so that's cool.
Anyway. That's that.

Apollo Randasian |

Haha, I'm 26 and still can't afford driving lessons. You guys get far cooler cars in America. They're really not good for the atmosphere, but damn do I want a muscle car!
1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS!
That or the 67 Shelby GT (Unicorn).
@Kori - Not West Philadelphia, in the playground where you spent most of your days? :p
The way you worded it seemed like a perfect opportunity and thumbs up if you get the reference!

Koritylija |

Chillin' out maxin relaxin all cool, shootin' some b-ball outside the school?
Dude, I was in my teens when the show first aired, and set aside plans to watch the first episode the very first time it came on.

Apollo Randasian |

Haha. It was pretty great growing up in the 80's and 90's. Kenan and Kel too!

Angmar Firefox |

Oh no. Leinathan is no longer going to school. That could mean bad things for the game...you should definitely try and get yourself an education. That should leave enough time for gaming for the next 4 years.
Working leaves you with nothing but PbP from your office... sniff.
He-Man is way more 80s than the Fresh Prince of Bell Air!

Apollo Randasian |

I HAVE THE POWERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Thundercats and transformers also. :-P
Then the 90's came with awesome cartoons again. Skeleton Warriors, Gargoyles, loads of marvel cartoons and the animated show - Reboot.

Apollo Randasian |

How could I forget Dino riders? :-P

Koritylija |

Hatim said he is doing what Kori said, so he is looking around in case we missed anything. You want him to roll, to see if he spots anything, also, will he come across Dmitri?

Apollo Randasian |

Haha!
Is it bad that Apollo just wouldn't care? He already knows Dmitri loves pain, so wouldn't put an act like this past him. He may question Dmitri's sanity though.

Apollo Randasian |

For any "Earlier" IC RP, should we just use the discussion section here, so we can keep the gameplay thread current at all times?
Was an idea I had. :)

leinathan |

Where do you guys want to sleep? The members of the extended caravan are gonna take up a lot of the room, and many of them won't like having you in their rooms. There are 14 of them, I believe, which means a total caravan size of 19 is being accommodated by this monastery.

Koritylija |

Kori is pretty pleased with the library. It has one defensible entrance, a walkway that seperates the upper half from the floor, and no holes in the roof. Just old books.

Apollo Randasian |

Hey guys, just about to go to bed, but will post tomorrow morning!
Sorry for the delay. :)

leinathan |

Oh, hey Apollo.
By the way, you're at 14/14 hp. You're only missing two HP from lost CON bonuses, you haven't actually taken any damage.
And guys, Almah's going to want to claim the library, for exactly the reasons why Kori wants it. She should be fine with Kori sleeping above, but the rest need to find somewhere else to be.

Dmitri Mavis |

I'm rather fine with just about anywhere really, save for outside. +1 perception makes it difficult to hear things coming up to kill you in your sleep.
That said, any hallway, propped up against a wall, is fine for me. I'd almost sleep at the front door.
Are me and the halfling out in the open to the point where saying "I worship a demon lord" won't get me immediately killed in the middle of the night?
I mean Dmitri doesn't much care. He's not about to kill anyone, but if they come at him for just worshipping one he's going to be pretty biased.
It's kind of funny, actually. "Can I just worship a Lawfully evil demon lord of subjugation and sadomasochism in peace?" has been brought up like twice XD. He knows what he's doing is evil, but Dmitri's under the impression that so long as the evil is self-contained, he's not really doing anything wrong. ... save for what he's doing wrong, of course, but it's more of a private matter that he's open about.
He's pretty much said it flat-out about twice now.

leinathan |

Well, so far, Dmitri really isn't doing anything WRONG...
Well, the guy's a N cleric of a N diety of magic...he isn't terribly morally motivated, nor does his diety have anything to do with fighting evil.
Funnily enough, the only member of the extended caravan that's Good is Apollo, and the only member that's evil is you. Everyone else is N along that axis.

Koritylija |

Apollo, despite all our discussions, I feel you are ignoring what I say in the discussion thread.
For like the second or third time.. you... did... not... kill... most.... of... the... enemy.
Both in and out of character, you seem unaware of this. Apollo, the character, knows this as he was at every fight. So whenever he says he did, he is outright lying.
So, Please, for the love of God, stop constantly saying you did the most killing. In or out of character.
Kori killed the exact same number as you in the first fight
Angmar (not you) did the most damage and killed the pugwampi King. He also killed one of the little ones, as did Hatim.
I think altogether we killed the spiders (all 4 of us damaged them, as no one single-handedly killed one).
Kori killed 2 baboons, and you killed one
Kori and Apollo each killed a (tiny, not almost your size) stirge (as the last didn't even require an attack roll due to being full).
I think you and Angmar took out the slime.
If I keep needing to remind you of this I will go ahead and start making a kill count, since you care so much about it that you will ignore every time I correct you on it.
Again, stop trying to take most of the credit for the work the team did. It's not that I think anyone deserves the credit, as we ALL did plenty. You are the only one constantly trying to claim you did more than everyone else when we have a logged transcript (this whole thread) of the truth.
This is not a difference in playstyles, this is you consistently misremembering what actually happened in the game in a way that makes you think you did most of the work.

Apollo Randasian |

Well, I actually knocked one stirge out by punching it, killed another (before it could even attack) and I'm pretty sure Angmar got a massive hit off on the Pugwampi King, but I got the finishing blow.
As for the Pugwampis, I'm pretty sure I killed the most, taking three out in the first encounter. If you took out the same, that's fine, but in character, he's more aware of his own actions than anything else, and as a player I really don't care that much. I'm roleplaying what Apollo thinks/feels.
I thought we were past all this, and Angmar's player doesn't care, so tbh, neither do I. I'm enjoying this campaign and if you have issues with me or my posting, that's down to you. I've tried pleasing you and we're back to this. Just please....for all of our sakes relax. It's a game. It's not real life, so let's not let silly trivial things spoil a good game. :)

Koritylija |

Well, is he a ranger, or a proficient fighter? Make up your mind ;)
Kori has no problem with others coming along.... I get a feeling this guy is bad news in the story somewhere. I get this feeling he's a double-crosser, but Kori currently doesn't have any issue with him.

Apollo Randasian |

Ha, that's if he's not killed first!
I know about him to some degree from three years or so back, when I had my halfling who gave his life for the party against Mr.Axe Wielder who shan't be named.
He became pretty close friends with him, but with Apollo having totally different concerns and objectives, none of that will be refreshed in my mind this campaign. I'm just interested to see where this story goes, and how everyone's relationships form, strengthen or weaken (NPC's and PC's). :)

Koritylija |

Lein,
I decided not to post the map, and sent the URL for it to you in a PM.
This way you can post it in the campaign tab, where we can always find it, instead of sifting back through the discussion thread later on down the road.
That being said, which direction are we coming into Kelmarane from? The road on the NE, or SE, or elsewhere?
