Yep, happy for those abilities to be used with Kinetic Blast... I think it fits quite well with the Aether element actually.


Once folks have decided upon their Mythic Path and Features, could they please update their character sheets as appropriate... it would also be useful for folks to specifically identify their Mythic Path (and level) in their Character Header.

Illonna - could I ask you to put your key character info into your header? It's kind of useful for me to be able to see those things without having to navigate all the way through to your character sheet (which is sometimes a pain on an iPad when the wi-fi connection is poor - the wi-fi on the trains to and from work can be really temperamental!!!)

I can assume we distributed some of the gear we discovered from the Assimilation Strain before we were kidnapped, and the other gear when we rested before at Garsilt Station. I would assume most of the bulky gear and other treasure we found is still back at Holver's Ferry. I marked those as being crossed off.

Drancis would claim a potion of CLW (if available), the MW chain shirt and the MW shortspear for himself.

Hybridization funnels are awesome. DC 20 alchemy check and you can combine to alchemical items (alchemist fire and acid) into one flask.

So I think I've figured out my Mythic stuff. Just need to update the profile. I've gained:
-+4 hp
-Hard to Kill
-Mythic Power 5/day
-Mythic Surge +1d6
-Divine Surge: (Inspired Spell (Su): You can expend one use of mythic power to cast any one divine spell, treating your caster level as 2 levels higher. This spell must be on your divine spell list (or your domain or mystery spell list) and must be of a spell level that you can cast using that divine spellcasting class. If you are a spontaneous spellcaster, you don't need to have the spell prepared, nor does it need to be on your list of spells known. Using this ability does not expend a prepared spell or available spell slot. You can apply any metamagic feats you know to this spell, but its total spell slot level must be a slot level you can normally cast.)
-Mythic Feat (Morphic Nature
Each time you traverse an interplanetary gate, you automatically adapt and acclimate to a new world.
Benefit: When passing through an interplanetary gate, you experience an instantaneous and permanent physical transformation to facilitate survival on a new world. This includes environmental compatibility with the local atmosphere (as determined by the planetary atmosphere at the time of the gate’s crafting, but not the ability to survive in a hard vacuum). You also acclimate to local diseases, such that you still prove susceptible to disease, but retain no special vulnerability to alien pathogens on other worlds. You also learn the rudiments of the local Common language, speaking, reading, and writing a passable dialect (though this may not become evident until interacting with a given world’s native inhabitants). When you pass through a gate to another planet, these benefits are lost or exchanged for acclimation to the new world.)
-Path Ability (Mythic Domain (Su) When determining the effects of your domain's granted powers, you're considered 4 levels higher. This increases the effects of powers you have access to, but doesn't grant you powers at a lower level than normal. Once per day, you can expend one use of mythic power as a standard action to regain the use of all your domain granted powers as if you had rested for 8 hours. If you're an oracle, all aspects of this ability apply to your revelations instead of to domain granted powers. You must have the domain class feature or mystery class feature to select this ability.)

Doing the math, Mythic Domain makes all of my Revelations considerably stronger- both of my offensive abilities are now game changers, and it doesn't even cost any uses of mythic power for them to count as 4 levels higher. That's awesome. And I can burn a use of said mythic power to get another use of them! Also, due to Mythic Domain, Astraea can now levitate due to her Lure of the Heavens revelation. Like, all the time. She's finally coming into her own, guys! :D My floating, mostly-blind oracle is finally turning into something like I envisioned.

Totally happy for you to state that you use Absorb Blow in your next immediate post... Immediate Actions are always a little screw-y in PbP but I am totally happy for you to retcon where appropriate...

...my understanding is that one of the books along the Legendary Planet Adventure Path will, to a greater or lesser extent, use the Dreamscarred Psionics ruleset... I kinda figured at that price, I may as well jump right in and get the full experience!!! ...and sadly, I'm most definitely maxed out on campaigns right now (it's all I can do to stop myself running a Strange Aeons recruitment!!! plus I've got the Blight coming some time soon).

Maybe for my next games (whatever they may be) I will allow the Dreamscarred stuff... before then though, it seems I've got a load of reading to do...

Also... GM post coming in a short while. I'm going to assume, unless there is violent opposition, that you're going to head to Zel-Argose in the caravan with Baeden and Caeftin...

I love all the DreamScarred Press stuff. They are easily one of my favorite two or three 3 PP.

Hey, folks.

Sorry for my absence. I've had some less-than-good stuff going on in my life. Primarlily, that a dear friend from college was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last week. He went in for emergency surgery two days after his diagnosis. I just wasn't up to gaming while worrying about him and his family.

I think I'm going to leave the games I'm GMing on hold for a couple more days, but I am up to returning to the games I'm playing in. I kind of need the distraction... plus, as a player, I can post from my phone.

Also, at some point I am going to have to decide what to do about Budd the C.H.U.D's character, Astraea - I think he was struggling with IT issues (his laptop died and then he was running out of data on his phone)... I'm hoping he will eventually return but at some point we may need to consider going through a recruitment... my goblins game lost two players (one vanishing and one who got swamped with IRL stuff) so I will be recruiting for that at some point soon... maybe it will be a dual recruitment.

My first impulse is to sell all of the jewelry and mundane weapons for cash and hang onto all of the tech we found for now. That should get us enough cash to get settled in, and once we get a lay of the land so to speak then we can work on selling the rest of our gear if necessary.

So Drancis is suggesting to hang onto the syringes, rifles, pillbox, and funnel for now and sell the rest.

I think that would be the easiest course. Locke is going to want to get himself some medium armour and a two handed weapon at some point so he can start hurting things real good.
