So sorry guys, loss of internet on many ends, really busy with the new job, and barely finding any time to do much more than survive in RL. Finally I can surface and hopefully can make some time each day. I know you have all heard this from me before but I do want to play, just RL has been bulldozing me. This is the first time I have had time to pull out my laptop in the past two weeks. Thanks for understanding and I hope to move things forward today.

Hey everyone.

Hope everyone had a good summer.

Glad to see you back , Wolf.

And life has finally given me a chance to breathe. First good news: I got a full time job, a Computer Lab Specialist at an elementary school; downside as you can tell a lack of time.

I will be making time for this game as well as likely just one or two more. I sure hope you all still have interest in the game. I am a bit more surprised more interactions didn't happen while I was away but I am back.

My 'new' home has many chores and a fixit list a mile long, another reason I have been sooooooooo busy. My internet is still scetchy but I have made my plan work out with my phone.

Nope, I am still here. I am in another game with Tristan so both of us still lurk. Yeah, real life is still busy. I had a server upgrade go South on me on Sunday. Lucky for me, the secondary was working so I was not completely down but then everyone was whining about latency even after my status email. I finally resolved the issue last night at around 7 PM. The upgrade wasn't the only dramatic issue, there were others and the reason it took me so long. I am not really done with the upgrade either but at least both servers are up and replicated.

And oh, congrats on the new job!

I believe Katrina is with us since she is our chuck wagon chef. Kestan used his men go to look into selling some of our goods for coin for the treasury, for a falconer, and for the troops for the Temple of Erastil.

Well I figure I would polish the rod till its shiny. But if I was polishing and not seeing results I am not sure I would want to waste the time.

Practice is probably a good idea. Would we know of humor is preferable to perfection.

As for Quince, being half fox, it wouldn't have bothered Kevros since he has and everyone else has already proven themselves. Too bad this campaign has slowed down because I really liked Kevros and he was getting better.

I'm always around on here. Play in lots of games though a few have died of late so I'm good to go when you are. I'm with you man we are 3 1/2 years in and we have owned our house 3 years now so lots of stuff to do around the house. Though we each have our own interest and don't feel like you have to do everything together, but that works for us you have to figure our what works for you. :)

I love Gestalt but that is a GM question. I also like Tristan, but would be down for whatever.

I am open to gestalt but first I want to make sure everyone is up for it. Secondly, it won't be immediate. I would want each of you to have an avenue to gaining that new power or working towards that training. Feel free to throw out ideas about how this could happen for your character. An example would be finding a scepter that will infuse or awaken the arcane powers within you, giving you sorcerous powers. Also I would prefer when you gestalt to stick with just adding one class.

I am game for whatever.

Gestalt would be fine with me. I like the idea of picking up where we left. There were lots of unresolved character issues even after two years.

If we go gestalt are we adding a class to our existing class or should we reimagine the character with from the ground up.

Hmm, gestalt makes a restart quite interesting.

Yeah, I was on the fence about restarting but this intrigues me :)

Is it a restart. Or pick up where we left with a little retcon of an added class. Or pick from where we were but a new "change event" gives us new powers and the gestalt class is how it is dealt with mechanically?

I have an idea for Tristan. I think with his focus on vengeance he will get visions and dreams from Ragathiel. This will happen a few days until he is visited by Ragathiel's herald who will bestow divine power upon Tristan making him and Inquisitor and giving him the blessings to hunt down and exact vengeance on those that have wronged him his family or others.

I believe it will be better if we continue where we left off. The main reason is we already know some of the events and we maybe behind or slow but we are not doing too bad either. And we can always speed up.

As for my second class, I have some ideas. We lack major healing and major magic but other classes will certainly help.

I know what I am going to do for Kev and group, Warpriest of Erastil. The desecration on the Temple of Erastil and the land had a larger effect on Kev than anyone realized.

We are sorely lacking in arcane spells. That is not the direction for Quince I was not thinking for Quince as he is pretty squishy as it is but perhaps that might be something to consider for him.

Though I was thinking something close to nature (though not a druid) or beefing up martialy.

Angeus is in a great position to take Sorcerer to angle her for something like an Arcane Trickster or maybe GM Wolf will allow us one Prestige Class since single classes do not offer some of the special abilities those Prestige Classes do.

Sorcerer would be good for you too Quince.

I am thinking Alchemist and purchase/make a Crossbow Launcher too.

I like the warpriest or Inquisitor angle for Kevros. Keeps the military feel and hits the deeply touched by Erastil angle.

The only downside to Erastil are the domains, and I took Law and Community, but I will make them work. I have an idea for Kev's transition into Gestalt Crossbowman/Warpriest.

Quince, I am thinking you will make a great Arcanist, maybe Whitemage for extra spontaneous healing which only replaces (2) Arcanist Exploits at 1st and 9th. With Kev, Tristan, and Quince's improved Healing, we should be good to go.

Angeus can take Sorcerer and maybe Arcane Trickster if permitted.

Quince can focus on Crowd Control (and Item Creation) and Angeus on arcane dps, stealth arcane dps, and arcane trickery (Split Item Creation?).

Tristan as an Ranger/Inquisitor fits perfectly. Is Tristan a worshiper of Erastil too?
