Helios' theatrics diminish and fade and he flicks his whip once more. He turns to Elen and Ragnar. "Ragnar, Elen, tamē śuṁ tha'ī rahyuṁ chē tē ōḷakhī śakē chē? Elven:
"Ragnar, Elen, can you identify what's happening? I have a feeling you both can put an end to this horrible turn of events! Just like the Watchmen of the forests in the days of Fir'umil the Blue!"

Switching to Common the bard begins working the innate magics in him as he balances between two languages so as to benefit his allies.

Krystae prepares to interrogate the bandits further to determine who this Rohkar is they spoke of; however, before she can the room suddenly erupts into chaos. She hears the sounds of chanting coming from nearby the fallen bandits and the witch hunter cants her head as she listens to the spoken words. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 With a jolt of alarm she recognizes the spell! "Necromancy!" Her knowledge of the spell lets the hunter know the caster is nearby... "Be aware, the caster is within reach of the fallen bandits!"

Krystae then listens carefully to try and determine where the voice was coming from, just as several of the bandits around her begin to rise up from the ground! Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 In the same moment, the inquisitor calls upon the powers of her goddess to seek justice upon her enemies! Swift Action to activate Justice Judgement. Krystae gains +1 Sacred bonus to all attack rolls.

Okay, going to post two different sets of actions based on whether Krystae can locate the hidden caster... Action 1 is if she gets an idea of his/her location. Action 2 is if she cannot locate.

Action 1:
Krystae ignores the zombies around her, taking aim to where she believes the invisible caster is standing, and let's her arrow fly! She will also point out to her companions to where the caster is located!
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 8

Action 2:

Ragnar says something in his native tongue and the undead next to Havelock turned and lunged at the man who had just raised it from death.

Ragnar stepped around Vigdir Havelock and thrust his spear toward the villain who treated the fallen so callously. A sudden anger boiled up from within the usually gentile giant. The plates and silverware still on the table rattled and the flames int eh fire place pulled back, deepening the shadows and letting a sudden chill into the air.

Krystae hisses when her arrow misses and hits the nearby wall; however, she hears more chanting coming from the invisible caster. She listens closely to the words, recognizing the vile spell. She does not have to wait long to extract her vengeance upon the dastardly enemy as he suddenly appears near her! "You will pay for your vile magic, fiend!"

Krystae takes a step to one side, away from the zombie beside her and quickly drops her bow, now engaged in a full melee battle, and pulls free her spear! She jabs it towards the caster, fully intent on impaling him upon the blade!

Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10 Probably not a hit unless Helios' trip succeeds, which I think a 19 probably will. So, in that case... Krystae would hit AC 14 (assuming the -4 penalty to AC from prone as a bonus to attack).
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

5' step to the 'east' (moved on the map). Free Action to drop her bow. Move Action to draw spear. Standard Action to attack.

Also, I'm not exactly sure where everyone is on the map, I don't think everyone moved themselves this round to their current location. So I don't think Krystae is flanking with anyone. If she is, please add the +2 bonus to attack to her roll.

Havelock takes a quick step back, happily out of reach from the nearby zombie, dodging nimbly under one of it's clumsy attempts to claw at him.

Then, with a manic grin, he lobs the clay phial in his hand straight at the zombie.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Once the man appears Brynjar's eyes shift from the motion filled corpses to him. A row of teeth clenched and the soft sound of hands gripping the hilt of a sword even harder was hid by the chaos. Suddenly Brynjar burst into action, rolling away from the zombie and running past the law-keeper as if he didn't recognize her, the warrior skid to a stop and let loose a wild horizontal at their newly revealed foe.

Flanking with Droviz.

Helios's whip wraps around Rohkar's ankle and Helios deftly pulls Rohkar off of his feet and watches as Rohkar lands harshly on his back.

Ragnar's new minion moves up and strikes at Rohkar's prone form, but Rohkar is able to roll out of the way and avoid the blow.
slam: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Ragnar's spear easily pierces the necromancer just above the collarbone, and Rohkar cries out in pain.

Droviz's strikes go wide... he seems a little lightheaded from his wounds.

Will save vs Evil Eye: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
He failed the save, so his saves are now at -2 for the duration, if I am reading that right.

Krystae's spear strikes true but her attack lacks the power to pierce Rohkar's studded leather armor.

Helios strikes the zombie between Droviz and Ragnar's new minion with his bomb.

AoO vs Brynjar: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 4 = 10
Rohkar weakly reaches out with his sword from the ground but Brynjar easily avoids the blow. Brynjar hacks into Rohkar's leg and deals a savage wound.

The zombies strike with their undead fury. Brynjar is slammed in the gut, and Droviz is knocked to the floor like a rag doll. Rohkar remains on the ground, raises his left hand and communes with a higher power.

Will save DC 13 for half.
The cowering bandits are knocked out from the blast of negative energy.

Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 (The +2 is from raging)

Okay, originally Brynjar had 16 HP, rage gave him an extra 4 hp, -17 damage, extra hit points go away first, so Brynjar is currently sitting at 3 hp.

Despite all the punishment that he has been dealt Brynjar stood firm, his breathing was loud, his teeth bared as if he was a hungry beast, and his blue eyes kept showering the man at his feat with an angry and hateful glare. In a single moment Brynjar's foot was raised and he brought it down on the man's ribs, and a moment later the massive double edged followed, its howl through the air becoming almost a common sound amongst the chaos that was around them.

Edit: Alright, Brynjar, you're supposed to be a barbarian, not a ninja! If Brynjar's attack kills the bad guy, Elen will try to get to Droviz and stabilize him instead. If she can't get to him because of zombies, she'll delay until there's room to get through the zombies to Droviz, then run to him. I can't access the Roll20 site at the moment, so I can't see the map.

Elen sees Droviz go down, and dashes through the scrum to reach him, ripping his shirt to find where he's bleeding and putting pressure on the wounds to staunch the flow. Purple-black skin? What... no time for that. Ask him later, when he's no longer bleeding to death, Elen admonishes herself as the color of the hidden drow's flesh is visible for the first time.

He launches himself from the table, tumbling passed the zombie that had struck down Droviz and landing next to the masked warrior.

"Professor, think we might need a hand over here..." Helios calls over his shoulder. He pulls the flask at his hip and pulls the screw top so he can pour some of the contents over any open wounds to stave off infection. The smell of whiskey wafts into the air around him. "C'mon, Lucky Drunk, see our new comrade through this...he fought like a warrior poet, let's give him a few more lyrics..." Helios sets about stabilizing him as best he can, trying to recall the woodland knowledge his mother had imparted.

Treat Deadly Wounds: When treating deadly wounds, you can restore hit points to a damaged creature. Treating deadly wounds restores 1 hit point per level of the creature. If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add yourWisdom modifier (if positive) to this amount. A creature can only benefit from its deadly wounds being treated within 24 hours of being injured and never more than once per day. You must expend two uses from a healer's kit to perform this task. You take a –2 penalty on your Heal skill check for each use from the healer's kit that you lack.

Droviz add 1 point back

Once stabilized, he turns about and scrambles over to the headless Rohkar to search for any potions that might help. If he finds any, he'll see of it's identifiable as a healing draught. If it's not apparent, he'll see if Havelock can identify it.

Dead...more await...always more... Brynjar looked about himself swiftly from left to right, his rage not showing any sign of subsiding Move...daggers at your back... The red haired man's foot shifted backward slightly but it stopped when Brynjar felt something obstruct its motion, he looked downward and saw the lawkeeper's body sprawled across the floor She cannot die...we agreed to hunt the witches...I am not a liar....not a betrayer The haze of violence that had gripped Brynjar diminished and he suddenly felt the pain of all the blows that landed upon his flesh, he fell to his knees and his sword dropped from his hands, then looked around himself in an attempt to survey his surroundings and maybe notice another invisible attacker.

OK... need to find out if any of the zombos are still alive. Helios might want to hold off on that treatment... Also, you get a penalty on treating deadly wounds if you don't have a healing kit, so that 21 is actually a 17. Elen could help once the fighting is done. After Droviz is stable, while everyone else kills the zombos, Elen will go over and stabilize Krystae if she can.

The zombies are still up and will carry out the last command given to them by their master unless the receive an alternate command from someone who can take control of them.

Also, Brynjar, "The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points." so when your rage ends you will lose those hitpoints and potentially collapse.

So the more I level up the higher the HP bonus? Sounds good to me and my mistake I had them confused with with temp hit points.

The battle is still on then, how many zombies do we have left?

Appears there are 3 zombies left, if am adding up correctly lol.

"Fall, damn you, fall!"

Havelock moves forward, jumping over the bodies of the ill bandits, as he does he strikes out at the zombie that now stinks of seared flesh.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Sadly, his strikes is not helped by the fact that Havelock lands poorly and temporarily loses his balance.

Would it be possible to mark on them map which zombie is controlled by Ragnar now?

I had already put up a nameplate but I forgot to mark it as visible to the players. You should be able to see it now, let me know if you can't.

HP 19/36, Temp HP (0), Nonlethal 12, -4 max hp(from con damage), AC 19 (17), Fort +4 (+6), Dex +0, Will +4 (+6) Rage 0/6, Command Undead 5/5, Assume Fate 2/2, Spells: 1st 6/7, 2nd 3/4 Active Effects: 2 Wis damage, 4 con damage

Good idea.

Ragnar slams his spear forward again, his rage abating now that the heretic was slain.

Fatigued 1/2

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage (piercing): 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Crit Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (3, 2) + 12 = 17

Also if it's not clear, the zombie closest to Ragnar is his minion.

Ragnar destroys another zombie. One of them shambles forward towards the table and the other remaining hostile zombie swings at Brynjar, slamming its fist into his armor.
slam: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
PCs turn again, next round.

Rolling with the blow that made his armor ring, Brynjar spun in place and brought down a fierce diagonal strike at the zombie. His ragged breathing and wounds clearly not slowing him down...yet.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 18

Damage Roll: 2d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 7 + 1 = 14

Since Ragnar took out the other zombie, Elen would have rushed to Droviz to stabilize him as noted above. Now I'll wait to see if Brynjar's attack takes out the other one.

Continue Dying. Current HP -6/15.

Krystae lets out pitiful whimpers as horrible visions flash in her unconscious mind... The terrible magics wreak havoc upon the young woman even in her subconsciousness.

She stands in a small halo of light, surrounded by utter darkness all about her. Every heartbeat the halo grows smaller and smaller about her... Her eyes and ears catch tiny things darting about in the inky blackness... Suddenly she feels something nip her calf, but when she spins around all she sees is a few droplets of her blood leading into the darkness. She hears a cacophony of terrible cackles all around her as the halo gets smaller and smaller.

It's now touching her heels and her toes... Another nip at her leg! She can hear the rustling of countless horrors rushing past her! Another bite, this time her thigh! She let's out a cry of pain. Her father's voice cries out to her from the darkness and she tries to fight back the overwhelming terror that threatens to break her; however, the darkness is too much. The halo is nothing more than a pinpoint of light... suddenly she can see the horrors that surround her... "Daddy! She screams and the light goes out...

Thought I'd have a little fun... never really been taken below 0 HP from Negative Energy and figured it would be quite the terrible experience for such a young, inexperienced adventurer in the making. Plus she horribly failed her Stabilization Roll... Which puts me at -6 HP.

As soon as I can get around without being smacked by a zombie, I'll save you!!

It would be awesome if Elen was the one to save Krystae... It would kill her knowing that she was saved by a witch. Good times!

Ah potential drama!!! Hand me the popcorn. This is going to be great.

Still haven't heard if I was able to find anything in the baddie's robes, like a healing potion for Droviz...and Krystae. Anything on my perception roll above?
